The rejected shareholder proposal criticized the CEI as “partisan, divisive, and increasingly radical,” referring to it as a “social credit score” that pressures corporations into political activism. It also claimed that Disney’s alignment with the CEI contributed to recent declines in its stock value—a notion the Board did not support.
Disney’s Board of Directors formally recommended shareholders vote against the proposal, citing three key reasons:

Guests are also encouraged to allow extra time for travel around the resort, as path adjustments may be in place while work is underway.
While Disney has kept most of the lobby details under wraps, they’ve acknowledged that updates are coming—and have stressed that they will “maintain the classic theming you know and love” with some “fresh new enhancements.” This response came after considerable fan pushback to early rumors suggesting a full modernization of the space.

Epic Universe is inching closer to its grand debut on May 22, 2025, and the excitement just keeps growing. This week, Universal Orlando fans were treated to a new look at some of the Team Member costumes that will bring the park’s immersive lands to life. Shared by UOTMLife on Instagram, the post not only thanked employees for helping make the Exclusive Team Member Preview a success—it also revealed three distinct new costume styles that hint at the stories waiting to unfold in the park.
The first photo shows two Team Members wearing sleek, all-black outfits with a serious, almost ominous tone. Each costume includes two buckles near the neckline and a wide belt cinched tightly at the waist. Paired with solemn expressions, these uniforms are giving major mysterious energy. While the post doesn’t specify the land, given the style of the costume as well as the background, it appears these costumes may be for team members working at the Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment dark ride in Dark Universe. If so, they’re perfectly suited for a world full of intrigue, suspense, and maybe even a few jump scares.
In contrast, the next costume reveal is all charm and sweetness. Team Members are shown in polished, business-casual attire while holding none other than Captain Cacao—a brand-new chocolate bear character who will call Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets home in Celestial Park. With soft colors and a more refined style, these costumes suggest a land that’s whimsical and elegant, with just the right amount of confectionery cuteness. Captain Cacao already looks like a breakout star, and we haven’t even met him in person yet.
The final image takes us straight to the Isle of Berk, home of the How to Train Your Dragon land. Two Team Members are pictured in Viking-inspired gear that reflects the warm, rugged feel of the dragon-filled world. Get ready, Disneyland visitors! Burger cravings are about to be satisfied, because In-N-Out Burger, the iconic Southern California fast-food chain, is opening a brand-new location practically within walking distance of the ‘Happiest Place on Earth.’
In-N-Out Burger’s newest location opens on March 21st at 540 N. Euclid Street in the Anaheim Plaza shopping center, just a two-mile drive from Disneyland’s parking structure. The restaurant will offer indoor seating for 84 guests and a covered outdoor patio accommodating 28 more.
The new In-N-Out location will employ approximately 30 associates with a starting wage of $22.00 per hour, representing the chain’s 419th restaurant. The company anticipates hiring additional staff in the coming months. Operating hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, consistent with all In-N-Out locations.
In-N-Out Burger, with locations across several western and southwestern states, including California, Nevada, and Texas, is undergoing significant expansion. Earlier this year, the company announced its corporate headquarters relocation from Irvine to Baldwin Park, its founding location. Additionally, In-N-Out is establishing an ‘Eastern territory’ office in Franklin, Tennessee, slated to open in late 2026, with plans for numerous Tennessee locations. The chain is also expanding within California, with new restaurants planned for Indio, Sylmar, Modesto, and Monrovia.

Celebrate Disneyland’s 70th with a Paint the Night Dining Experience at Plaza Inn!
As part of Disneyland’s 70th anniversary festivities, the beloved Paint the Night parade is making its triumphant return to Disneyland Park. To enhance the viewing experience, a new dining package has been announced, offering guests a reserved viewing area for this dazzling nighttime spectacle.
Disneyland’s Paint the Night parade dining package at Plaza Inn will be offered from May 16th to August 21st, 2025, with reservations opening on March 25th, 2025. Guests booking this package will select a meal pickup time between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, enjoying their meal at any available table within Plaza Inn. The package includes a voucher granting access to a reserved viewing area for the first performance of the Paint the Night parade.
This voucher will provide essential details, including the designated viewing area location and arrival time. It’s important to note that the viewing area primarily offers standing room or ground seating and is separate from the Plaza Inn dining location. Entry to this exclusive viewing area requires a voucher, and each member of your party must purchase a dining package to obtain one.
