disney-villains-loungefly-satchel

I recently got the cutest pair of deep purple leggings, and I thought to myself what would be the perfect accessory for this? When I found this Disney Villains Loungefly SatchelWickedly Delightful Disney Villains Loungefly Satchel Bag I knew I had found the perfect choice. I loved it so much I even got a black and grey striped shirt to complete the look.

This is one bad to the bone bag. This satchel by Loungefly features The Evil Queen, Ursula, Cruella DeVille, Maleficent, and The Queen of Hearts in an all over print at their most wicked. The bag also features a thorny purple vine background, which brings out the diabolical fright from these villainous ladies. Although it is a handle drop bag, it still features an adjustable crossbody strap for more carrying options, as well as a zipper pocket inside for extra organization.

What do you think of this wicked cool Disney Villains Loungefly SatchelWickedly Delightful Disney Villains Loungefly Satchel Bag purse?

Service Dog Getting His Caricature Drawn At Disneyland

In probably the cutest thing you will have seen on the internet today.

Yahoo the service dog posed for a caricature drawing at Disneyland as part of his training. The owner Catie was at home while her parents took Yahoo to Disneyland this past Friday and got the drawing made. The trip is all apart of Yahoo’s training to help him learn patience and attentiveness in a distracting environment. You don’t get much more distracting than Disneyland!

Yahoo is part of a non-profit group called Canine Companions for Independence. The CCI pairs dogs with people and children that have disabilities.

On the Disneyland’s website it states that service dogs are allowed at most of the company’s theme parks and resorts.

Due to the nature of some rides, service pets may not be allowed on certain attractions though.

How cool is that?

New “Goofy’s Festive Fiasco” Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom Game Card

goofy-card

A special Goofy-themed Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game card will be available during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year. The party-exclusive card for 2016 is called “Goofy’s Festive Fiasco” and Imagineer Jonathan Ackley states it “celebrates the glorious holiday chaos created by Goofy as he attempts to decorate for the season!”

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a special ticketed event held during select evenings at Magic Kingdom from 7pm until midnight. Below are this year’s party nights where you’ll be able to find the festive Goofy game card:

  • November 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 18, 27 and 29
  • December 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18 and 22

Just in case you’re new to Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, this interactive game allows guests to team up with Merlin in defeating Disney Villains who are scheming to take over Magic Kingdom Park. Guests search for villain hideouts throughout the park, visit magic portals and use special spell cards to defeat villains. Each spell card stars a different Disney character, each with their own unique powers. The game begins at the Firehouse on Main Street, U.S.A., where you can pick up complimentary key cards, spell cards and maps (additional cards can be purchased at select merchandise locations).

Resort Specific Cups Spotted at Disneyland

14797266_10154151971898983_1277840209_n

If you have been to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World lately, you may have noticed that the resorts both use the same generic red and yellow “Disney Parks” paper cups/plates/bowls. We imagine it’s just a convenience for Disney to have it all the same across the different parks, but it’s still exciting to see that apparently Disneyland is now sporting cups with their very own namesake on them!

The cups were shared by twitter user @dumbfrog, and we think they’re great, how about you?

New Tsum Tsum Reveals, Tsum Tsum Christmas and Moana Collections!

Tsum Tsum Christmas

New Tsum Tsum collections will be sailing in on November 1st, just in time for the holidays, and newest Disney Animated Movie release! The Disney Store will be launching, 4 new collections on the first november Tsum Tsum Tsuesdays. There will be 3 Tsum Tsum Christmas collections, and a Moana themed mini collection.

tsum-tsum-1

First up is Moana, seriously is anyone else as excited about this movie as me, because I can NOT wait! We get our newest hero Moana, the Demi-god Maui, and several creatures that I’m sure will join our hero along the way! These mini Tsum Tsums are super cute, and have a vivid range of colors. I’m already claiming Pua as my must have!

tsum-tsum-4

There are three Christmas releases coming out November 1st, so let’s look at the smaller of the 3 first. This ADORABLE little package comes with a Mickey and Minnie Mouse Tsum Tsum. Mickey is dressed as a very dapper snowman, and Minnie is an elegant Christmas Tree. This looks like a great little go to for Secret Santa gifts, and stocking stuffers.

tsum-tsum-2

Next we have the Christmas Carol Box Set. It seems to be a Christmas Tsum Tsum tradition to have a larger box set of minis. I love that unlike previous years where it’s been the usual Mickey and gang, this one is our Disney Pals from A Christmas Carol. This set comes with 10 themed Tsum Tsum minis, in a very seasonal box. Disney’s version of A Christmas Carol was my first introduction to this classic Holiday story. The Uncle Scrooge character became so popular he developed into his own character in the Disney universe.

tsum-tsum-3

Lastly, but most certainly not least, we have the Tsum Tsum Christmas collection I’m most excited for. The Tsum Tsum Advent calendar! So far it’s totally mysterious, but I know it’ll be amazing! Many of us are already in love with this Tsum Tsum Advent Calendar, so I’m sure this one is going to be an incredible treat too!

There’s the fabulous new launches headed our way next Tsum Tsum Tuesday! That’s quite a few new goodies all in one Tuesday, so I’m quite excited for it! The Moana Collection and Advent Calendar are most likely to be popular, and may sell out so be on the look out. You can stack up these four new collections from The Disney Store, Disney Parks, and Disney Store Online November 1st!

Think Geek Star Wars Chewbacca Slippers With Sound!

Chewbacca Slippers

If there’s two things I love, it’s Star Wars and Cozy slippers, so it’s pretty hard to top these Wookies for your tootsies, Chewbacca Slippers that make Chewbacca sounds for me!

What was Han without Chewbacca, his faithful co-pilot and companion? Without Chewie how would he have gained his bad-boy smuggler image? His swagger? Without Chewie would Han have wandered aimlessly, lost in the galaxy? Probably! It is really one of the all-time, best-known, worthy-of-hyphens, sci-fi partnerships.

Warm your feet with these fuzzy Wookiee slippers, featuring the sound of Chewbacca (but not the smell). When you walk, these slippers alternate between two different Wookiee roars: RRRAARRWHHGWWR and WAAAAAAAAARGH.

Think Geek really knocked it into outer space with these Chewbacca Slippers if you ask me!

These Disney Miles Signs will Always Point you Home

Disney Miles Signs

One of the things I loved when I visited the Disney Vero Beach resort, was the “aged” wooden signs pointing to the different Disney Parks and Vacation Club Resorts, with the miles of how far away they were on them. These Disney Miles Signs by StudioSeventyNine on Etsy remind me of them perfectly.

These signs are a customized arrow cut from beautifully aged and weathered wood. You get to choose your favorite destination and the designer will figure the number of miles from your house to your chosen Disney destination. The sign will have the name of the Disney Park or resort, and the number of miles to there destination from your shipping address. How lovely would it be to have a post in your yard with a few of these pointing to Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and other Disney parks from across the globe? I know I would need one to my beloved Disney Vero Beach Resort!

The designer also has some signs to different Park attractions, and even separate Disney Theme Parks, like Magic Kingdom.

Do you know how many miles it is to your favorite Disney destination? Which Disney Miles Signs would be perfect for you?

Disney announced today an exciting new social media collaboration with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) that is designed to retell classic Disney tales in a way like never before: Snapchat Stories. Beginning this month, LACMA, the largest art museum in the western United States, will launch the digital collaboration on the @OhMyDisney Snapchat account. Drawing from over 130,000 works in LACMA’s encyclopedic collection, which spans years and from all around the globe, the teams will use references from pop culture, filters, memes, and whimsical hand-drawn Snapchat overlays to retell some of Disney’s most iconic stories in a lighthearted and contemporary tone. The collaboration will continue on a bi-monthly basis.

“LACMA’s intentionally humorous Snapchat account not only has made important artworks from our collection vastly more accessible to new audiences, but it has also allowed us to explore these artworks from new points of view,” said Michael Govan, LACMA CEO and Wallis Annenberg Director. “Partnering with Disney—one of the most influential and dynamic storytellers of our time—is a perfect marriage of two Los Angeles institutions that love to engage the public with images.”

The premiere, a retelling of Beauty and the Beast, will be featured on both the LACMA (@lacma) Snapchat account, as well as on the OhMyDisney (@OhMyDisney) Snapchat account. Told as a series of four Snapchat stories, Beauty and the Beast will begin on LACMA’s Snapchat account on October 19 and finish on OhMyDisney’s Snapchat account the following day.

Oh My Disney delivers original and shareable content about classic and current Disney characters to fans through a variety of videos, GIFs, quizzes, and quippy editorial. The editorial process is nimble enough to capture the zeitgeist of what is happening in the moment, yet is still entrenched in the classic Disney stories fans have come to know and love throughout the years. Offering original and shareable content through a variety of listicles, videos, GIFs, and images, Oh My Disney is the ultimate digital destination for a daily dose of Disney.

Kali River Rapids Removed from Extra Magic Hours at Animal Kingdom

kali-river-rapids-07

  • Expedition Everest
  • Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail
  • It’s Tough to be a Bug!
