The Sun is reporting that popular British television show, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, will be broadcasting live from the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World this Saturday, April 7th, 2017. This live episode of the show will serve as the show’s season finale.

The show is scheduled to give live at 7 pm in Great Britain or 2 pm EST. The filming of the show has pushed back the daily Festival of Fantasy Parade to 5 pm EST. The show will be filmed in the center of Town Square which has caused the flagpole to be relocated to a different location in Town Square.

200 of Ant and Dec’s biggest fans will also be joining them on their trip “across the pond” for the live taping of the show. Viewers of the show were chose for this Disney adventure during the show’s season premiere back in February. Metro has reported that one of the lucky viewers who will be going to Florida is a little boy who will be meeting his American pen pal for the first time. In addition, popular British TV personalities, Stephen Mulhern and Scarlett Moffatt, will be along for the fun.

Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway is a British variety show. The show has been on the air since 2002 with a hiatus from 2010 to 2013. Ant and Dec are the stars of the show and also the executive producers. The show airs on British television station, ITV. Last year, the show’s season finale was filmed on a cruise ship in Spain.

Add The Captain’s Pineapple To Your List of Must-try Adult Beverages For Your Disney Vacation

Add The Captain's Pineapple To Your List of Must-try Adult Beverages For Your Disney Vacation

When you are in planning mode for a Walt Disney World vacation do the words “Dole Whip” fit into that equation?  There is something about the Dole Whip that just speaks Disney to us.  We were excited to discover that the Art of Animation’s poolside bar, The Drop Off, is now featuring an adult beverage that tastes exactly like the infamous Dole Whip.  You will certainly want to add the Captain’s Pineapple to your list of must-tries during your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

You can find the Captain’s Pineapple hanging out at the The Drop Off; a poolside bar on the grounds of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. The bar itself is outdoors, and not within the enclosed area of the Big Blue Pool.  Therefore, anyone can stop by to enjoy a Captain’s Pineapple.

The Captain’s Pineapple is not listed on the menu so you have to either know that it exists, or see the sign beside the swirling beverage machines sporting this fabulous concoction of Pineapple Soft-serve and Captain Morgan’s Original Spiced Rum.

Add The Captain's Pineapple To Your List of Must-try Adult Beverages For Your Disney Vacation

This decadent beverage tastes exactly like a Dole Whip!  The Captain’s Pineapple goes down a little too smooth and it is easy to feel like you can have at least two.  There is a 2 drink per person maximum on alcoholic beverages.  If you are staying at Disney’s Art of Animation that is a great idea.  However, if you drove yourself to The Drop Off, this will not be such a great idea unless you plan to stay for a while!

We had a Little One in our party so we headed inside Disney’s Art of Animation to the Landscape of Flavors Food Court to get her a Pineapple Paradise Smoothie.  This did not turn out as well as we had anticipated.  Pineapple Paradise is not even close to tasting like a Dole Whip and it certainly did not taste like Paradise either.  Our Little One stated that it tasted like the medicine she had, and did not like, when she had an ear infection last year.  After tasting it ourselves, we had to agree that it was a lightly pineapple flavored version of Amoxicillin.  Therefore, the Little One decided to get a Peeps Cupcake and a cup of ice water instead.  She may have talked one of us into getting a Carrot Cupcake as well.

The Captain’s Pineapple is pure bliss.  You can find similar beverages at the Boardwalk’s Margarita Joes and Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  Epcot features Dole Whip and Rum at their Flower & Garden Festival as well as their International Food & Wine Festival.  We love that you can sit an umbrella table and relax a bit with your drink at The Drop Off.  If you love Dole Whip then you may want to add Captain’s Pineapple to your list of must-try adult beverages during your next Walt Disney World vacation.

Marvel’s The Defenders Series Gets A Teaser Trailer and release date

Marvel's The Defenders Series Gets A Teaser Trailer and release date

The last check mark on the list has been checked with meeting Iron Fist, now it’s time to look ahead to “The Defenders“.

Marvel‘s heroes of Hell’s Kitchen will assemble in an Avengers-style miniseries event for Netflix, and now we have a release date.

In a brief teaser video security camera footage shows the superhuman quartet riding an elevator in Midland Circle, the mysterious corporation at the center of that literal hole in Daredevil season 2. Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones spies the security camera and smashes it exactly at the 08:18:20:17 mark.

Need more confirmation of an August premiere?

If you plug in those numbers in the upper left-hand corner to your browser (http://23.253.120.81), it’ll redirect to a website for The New York Bulletin, the newspaper where Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page now works. A Second Season of “Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” Set To Premiere This Summer

A Second Season of "Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures" Set To Premiere This Summer

A second season of the animated comedy adventure series “LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” is set to return this summer on Disney XD. Recently nominated for four Daytime Emmy Awards, the fun Force-filled series will continue the story of the Freemakers as they join the Rebellion in their fight against the Empire.

Marc Buhaj, senior vice president, Programming and general manager, Disney XD, announced, “The series creators expertly deliver an equal amount of comedy and signature Star Wars adventure into their storytelling. We’re looking forward to bringing our viewers a brand new season of galactic adventures with the Freemaker family throughout summer.”

At the end of the first season, the Freemaker family found a new home with the Rebel fleet. Their new circumstances bring them face to face with brutal Imperial forces, desperate Hutts, conniving Sith Lords and the Emperor’s latest plaything, M-OC, a terrifying hunter droid who continually modifies himself to fit any occasion. In response to these threats, Rowan’s powers grow and strengthen until he has a vision of a sleek, invulnerable ship that can save the Rebellion and stop the Empire in its tracks – the Arrowhead. The catch is the Arrowhead is a ship only Rowan can build. Once again, it’s up to the youngest Freemaker to save the galaxy.

Prior to the second season debut, five new shorts that fill in the storytelling between seasons one and two of “LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” debut Wednesday, May 4, on Disney XD in celebration of the Star Wars fan-generated “May the 4th Be With You” holiday. A peek of the upcoming season of “LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” will also be revealed at Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, Florida in April.

More details on Star Wars Celebration are available here.

The first season of “LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” ranked among Disney XD’s top-rated animated series during 2016, and to date, has reached over 55 million Total Viewers across the U.S. – including 21 million Kids 2-14 and 11 million Boys 2-14 – and amassed an additional 6 million viewer engagements across key digital and social platforms including Disney XD VOD, the Disney XD app, YouTube and Facebook.

The season two voice cast includes Nicolas Cantu (Rowan), Vanessa Lengies (Kordi), Eugene Byrd (Zander), Matthew Wood (RO-GR), Trevor Devall (Emperor), Dana Snyder (Graballa), Vanessa Marshall (Hera), Yvette Nicole Brown (Lt. Valeria), Corey Burton (Quarrie), James Urbaniak (M-OC) and Matt Sloan (Darth Vader).
