This spooktacular event returns with 32 parties! New for this year, parties will begin in August and run on select nights to November 1st, 2017.
MNSSHP is your chance to collect candies, sweets and frightfully delightful treats—all while the hosts grim grinning ghosts, eerie entertainment and Disney Characters that go bump in the night.
Best of all: since the tone of this event is “not-so-scary,” that means children of every age can enjoy the fun!

With the beautiful landscaping and buildings of the China pavilion as a backdrop, a Disney PhotoPass photographer will offer guests this special prop to be used to create keepsake photos. A photographer will be available every evening beginning at 7:30pm (weather permitting) at the China Pavilion for this photo opportunity.

The Disney themed “In This House” signs are one of my favorite wall decorations for Disney lovers. There’s so many Disney Signs choose from, colorfully painted ones, vinyl-ed ones even printed ones, but this wood burned version from WoobiesCorner has stolen my heart!
These “In this house we do Disney” quote signs are made using upcycled wood. The designer is a very passionate artist who loves the beautiful swirls and knots of natural wood. The wood pieces have been decorated combining pyrography (wood burning) for the entire outline and finished with a coat of protecting polish to make your design last a lifetime. Each piece will be very similar but since they are individually made, the knot and grain patterns may vary slightly from the ones pictured. No two pieces are exactly alike which makes each one it’s own beautiful and unique work of art. All designs are outlined, cut, sanded, and burned by hand, bringing together a look that is charming and inviting for all Disney fans.
Now that I have my very own WoobiesCorner original, I can’t say enough about how beautiful these pieces are. She even inscribes the back with her love. The sign is a very sturdy piece of quality wood that’s been lovingly finished by the artist.

Here at Chip and Co we reported last September that Stitch’s Great Escape would be moving to a seasonal schedule meaning that it would be closed at various off-peak periods throughout the year. Speculation at the time was that this was due to preparations being made to turn this attraction into a Wreck It Ralph-themed attraction.
It looks at the moment that changes to the ride haven’t yet taken places as Stitch is schedule to re-open next week in preparation for the Easter Crowds. The attraction will be officially open from April 10 – April 19, 2017.
Disney has not made any further announcements at this time regarding the future of the attraction. However, Stitch’s Great Escape is widely held to be one of Walt Disney World’smost unflattering attraction and many fans are holding out hope that the attraction will eventually permanently close its doors to make way for a new guest experience.

Disney’s new nighttime show, ‘Rivers of Light‘ will be adding a second show nightly during peak travel dates this month at Animal Kingdom. Starting Sunday April 9th through Saturday April 22nd guest have the option of two shows nightly, 8:30 and 9:45.
On April 23rd ‘Rivers of Light‘ will have one scheduled performance seven nights a week at 8:45 though September 4th. This expanded schedule will give more guests the chance to see Animal Kingdom’s nighttime show. Fast Pass options and Dining packages are available with this new spring/summer schedule.
With all these additional shows it will be easier than ever to fit ‘Rivers of Light’ into your Disney vacation itinerary.

The much loved 3D show located at the Tree of Life, ‘It’s Tough to be a Bug’ will undergo refurbishment this month at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The closure is scheduled for April 23rd through April 29th, and is set to reopen April 30th 2017. Click here for a list of other closures at Walt Disney World for April 2017.

We are only a little over a month away from Magic Kingdom’s newest fireworks spectacular “Happily Ever After” making it’s debut at Walt Disney World‘s Magic Kingdom on May 12th.
The show will be Disney World entertainment at its best and will feature dazzling special effects, amazing pyrotechnics and delightful storytelling via a series of amazing state-of-the-art projections onto Cinderella’s Castle. All of the elements will be drawn together with an evocative soundtrack.
To celebrate the arrival of this new nighttime spectacular, Disney Parks Blog released a sneak peak at the ambitious creative process that went in to bringing this new project to life. The sneak peek features the amazing group of talented Walt Disney Animation Studio artists who through their amazing artwork were able to bring to life much-loved Disney characters like Princess Tiana, Aladdin and Ursula. “Happily Ever” after will also draw upon recent movies like Zootopia and Tangled to help weave the narrative.

Prop Store, one of the world’s leading film and TV memorabilia companies, will be exhibiting at the world-famous Star Wars Celebration event at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida between April 13 – 16, 2017. Where you will have the opportunity to view Princess Leia’s (Carrie Fisher) Film-Worn Ceremonial Gown from “Star Wars: A New Hope”, as well as lots from their upcoming Star Wars and Star Trek Blueprint Online Auction and annual Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction to be held in London later this year.
Prop Store will have a spread of original film props, hand-drawn artwork, storyboards, posters and more, available for direct sale at the show. This material was used in the production of the films themselves.
Lots from the upcoming Blueprint Auction will be on show at booth 2044. Prop Store will be offering over 75 individual lots of Star Wars and Star Trek set blueprints during the online auction, beginning on Friday 14th April at PST online. Bidding on all lots will close on Friday 28th April at PST. All bidding takes place online and lots can be shipped anywhere in the world. All lots are being sold without reserve, allowing the fans to determine the final bid prices.
Prop Store will once again hold one of the UK’s largest live auctions of film and TV memorabilia this fall, held at London’s BFI IMAX proudly presented by ODEON, Europe’s largest cinema chain. Visitors to the booth will be able to be view many of the key Star Wars lots due to go under the hammer later this year in London.

Racers, start your engines! Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media today announced details about Cars 3: Driven to Win, the world-class competitive racing game that features beloved characters from the upcoming Disney•Pixar Cars 3 film in an entirely new interactive experience. Cars 3: Driven to Win is being developed by Avalanche Software, newly re-opened under Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and will be available for the PlayStation®4, PlayStation®3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch™ and Wii U™ beginning on June 13, 2017.
“It’s been an amazing experience to work with the team at Pixar once again for this new game for the beloved Cars franchise,” said John Blackburn, Vice President and Studio Head, Avalanche Software. “With Cars 3: Driven to Win, we wanted to create a game that allows fans to extend their experience with this great film, and also feel the thrill of speeding through the tracks, participating in races, and mastering tricks and techniques for fun with the whole family.”
Picking up after the final big race in the film, Cars 3: Driven to Win extends the storyline of Cars 3 with all-new action packed adventures and takes players through a high-speed competition that is filled with both familiar and new faces.
