Kakamora (Inspired by “Moana”): Carolina’s impressive multi-tiered display features three stacked brown, textured eggs resembling the coconut-clad pirates, flanked by two more Kakamora. They sit upon a chocolate log raft amidst swirling chocolate waves. An unlabeled chocolate basket nearby holds a small chicken and a white token painted with the resort’s unique five-legged goat.

Muppet Mania:
The central table is a vibrant celebration of the Muppets, brought to life by Molly, Hannah, Clay, and Desirey:
A white egg shaped like Beaker, complete with his lab coat and worried expression, surrounded by bubbling beakers in the “Muppet Labs” section, aptly titled “The Eggsperiment.”

More Enchanting Creations:
Maui’s Hook and Kakamora (Inspired by “Moana”): Another delightful creation by Evan features a sandy rectangular base with a Kakamora egg, Maui’s iconic hook, and a nearby green egg carved with the Heart of Te Fiti.
Tiana (Inspired by “Princess and the Frog”): Michael’s elegant display showcases a large lime green egg nestled within a white lily flower, with a cutaway revealing a silhouette of Tiana about to kiss Naveen.
The Muses (Inspired by “Hercules”): Margo’s artistic touch is evident in an orange egg styled like a Greek vase, complete with an ornate gold base and handles, painted with black line art depicting all five Muses and the “Hercules” wordmark.
The Miracle Candle (Inspired by “Encanto”): Madelyn’s final egg captures the magic of Casa Madrigal, with pink flowers climbing its sides and a hollow center revealing a 3D sculpture of the iconic Miracle Candle.

It’s Alive! First Look at the Victoria Frankenstein Animatronic in Epic Universe’s Monsters Unchained Queue
The Dark Universe just got a shocking new reveal—Universal Orlando has unveiled our first official look at Dr. Victoria Frankenstein inside the queue forMonsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, and it’s safe to say… she’s electrifying.
As part of the hauntingly immersive Dark Universe land at the upcoming Epic Universe theme park, this new thrill ride takes classic horror to a whole new level—and Dr. Victoria Frankenstein is ready to lead the charge. Dressed in a sleek, black leather lab coat and brought to life with a jaw-dropping projected face effect, the Victoria animatronic is the eerily charismatic face of the twisted experiments taking place beneath the Frankenstein estate.
In the newly released video, she beckons a “chosen few” to witness her ultimate creation and carry on the legacy of her infamous great-grandfather, Henry Frankenstein.
The queue itself is dripping with gothic atmosphere. Portraits of Victoria and Henry Frankenstein (a nod to the iconic 1931 film) hang on stone walls with dramatic lighting and mysterious, arcane energy pulsing in the background. The eerie ambiance sets the stage for the chaos to come—because this “demonstration” goes off the rails quickly when Dracula sparks a full-on monster revolt. We’re talking The Mummy, The Wolf Man, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and more, all unchained and out for blood.
The ride—billed as a thrill-packed motion simulation—has a minimum height requirement of 48 inches and will be available with the Universal Express Pass, which might come in handy once the opening crowds roll in. And speaking of opening… Epic Universe officially opens on May 22, 2025! Team Member previews just wrapped up, and eager Annual Passholders and hotel guests will get their first taste of the mayhem next week.
From crackling lab equipment to storm-lit manor halls, Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment promises to be a pulse-pounding plunge into the heart of horror legend. If this first glimpse of Victoria Frankenstein is any indication, this attraction isn’t just bringing the monsters back—it’s making them the stars of Universal’s next great thrill ride.
Hop to It! Walt Disney World Extends Park Hours for Easter Week 2025
Easter magic is in the air—and so are extra park hours! Walt Disney World has rolled out a fresh batch of operating hour updates for the busy Easter holiday period, giving guests even more time to soak in the magic across four parks. Whether you’re an early riser or a night owl, April 2025 just became a whole lot more magical.
Let’s start with Magic Kingdom, where the magic starts earlier and ends later all week long. From April 20–26, the park will close at either 10:00 or 11:00 p.m., with April 22 and 26 offering the longest hours thanks to 8:00 a.m. openings and 11:00 p.m. closings. Plus, early entry gets a big jumpstart on April 22 and 26, moving from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.—perfect for anyone aiming to rope drop Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Extended Evening Hours also get a boost on April 23, now running from 10:00 p.m. to midnight.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is joining the after-dark fun too, staying open until 10:00 p.m. on April 26, giving you an extra hour to catch Fantasmic! or one last spin on Slinky Dog Dash.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom gets a slight bump, extending its closing time from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on April 26—just enough extra time to squeeze in a sunset ride on Kilimanjaro Safaris.
Meanwhile, Blizzard Beach Water Park is making a splash with extended daily hours from April 20–26. Instead of closing at 5:00 p.m., the park will now keep the wave pool party going until 7:00 p.m. each evening.
These updates are designed to help manage the expected holiday crowds and give guests more flexibility to enjoy everything from rope drop to nighttime spectaculars. You can now view park hours through June 18, 2025, so it’s a great time to start planning your spring adventure.
Bottom line? If you’re heading to Walt Disney World for Easter, pack some comfy shoes—because the parks are open longer, and there’s more magic than ever to explore!
Prepare for the Hunt: Predator: Killer of Killers Premieres June 6 on Hulu
Just when you thought the Predator franchise couldn’t get any more intense, 20th Century Studios is taking the iconic extraterrestrial hunter to bold new ground—this time in animated form. Get ready for Predator: Killer of Killers, an original action-packed animated anthology set to premiere June 6, 2025, exclusively on Hulu.
This isn’t your average Saturday morning cartoon. Directed by Prey filmmaker Dan Trachtenberg and co-directed by Josh Wassung of The Third Floor animation studio, the film unleashes the Predator into some of the most dangerous moments in human history. Three distinct stories follow warriors from vastly different eras—all unknowingly being hunted by the deadliest creature in the galaxy.
First, we meet a Viking raider, locked in a savage quest for vengeance with her young son in tow. Then we shift to feudal Japan, where a skilled ninja must face his own Samurai brother in a bloody power struggle. Finally, we take to the skies in World War II, as a daring Allied pilot investigates a mysterious and lethal presence threatening the war effort. These warriors may be killers in their own right—but they’re no match for what’s coming.
Written by Micho Robert Rutare and based on characters created by James and John Thomas, Killer of Killers blends stylized animation with gritty, pulse-pounding storytelling. It’s a fresh take that honors the legacy of the Predator franchise while offering something completely new for fans.
If you’re a Predator fan, an animation buff, or just someone who loves a good, gory action ride through time, this one’s for you. So mark your calendars and sharpen your blades—the hunt begins June 6.
It’s Official: Universal Studios Great Britain Is Coming—and It’s the UK’s Biggest Theme Park Ever!
Start planning your trip across the pond, theme park fans—because Universal is heading to Britain in the biggest way possible. After months of speculation, leaked concept art, and a whirlwind of excitement online, the news is official: Universal Studios Great Britain is real, it’s happening, and it’s shaping up to be the largest visitor attraction in the UK!
The Hollywood Reporter recently unveiled a full, unedited version of the park’s concept art, which had previously made waves thanks to a leak from The Daily Mirror. The colorful artwork, now shown in its entirety, gives fans a tantalizing glimpse at what might be in store for this massive theme park destination. Imagine a grand central lagoon, themed lands spiraling out from its shores, and familiar Universal icons potentially taking center stage—including Jurassic World and Waterworld (yes, really). But eagle-eyed fans are asking… where’s Harry Potter?
Despite the UK being the magical homeland of the Wizarding World, the leaked artwork didn’t show any obvious signs of a Potter-themed land. That said, Universal does hold the rights to the franchise in its theme parks, so we wouldn’t count out a wand-waving, butterbeer-sipping experience just yet.
And if the concept art wasn’t enough, Universal dropped the mic with a massive announcement: the UK government, under Prime Minister Keir Starmer, along with the Bedford Borough Council, has officially greenlit the project. A multibillion-pound deal has been struck to bring Universal Studios Great Britain to Bedford, a town about 60 miles northwest of London. Construction is set to begin next year, and the park is scheduled to open its gates in 2031.
We’re not just talking about a few rides and a gift shop—this is going to be a full-blown resort. The plans include a 500-room hotel, a massive retail and dining complex, and one of the most advanced theme parks in Europe. It will also be Universal’s first branded theme park on the continent.
“This landmark investment is fantastic news for our economy, for U.K. tourism and for the British public,” said U.K. Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy. And it’s hard to argue with that. The development is expected to bring nearly 20,000 jobs during construction, with an additional 8,000 permanent jobs once the resort opens. Universal also estimates the project will inject nearly £50 billion (that’s $64 billion) into the economy by 2055. Not too shabby for a theme park!
Mike Cavanagh, President of Comcast, couldn’t contain his excitement either: “We could not be more excited… to create and deliver a fantastic new landmark destination.” His team at Universal Destinations & Experiences is promising thrilling rides, immersive storytelling, and next-gen technology.
So, what do you think? Which franchises must be included in Universal Studios Great Britain? Is it finally time for a Fast & Furious land to hit 88 MPH? Will Minions rule the streets of Bedford? And is the Wizarding World just lying in wait? Will the Doctor make an appearance in his legendary TARDIS? Let us know what you’d love to see when the gates swing open in 2031!
Disneyland Resort will celebrate its 70th anniversary from May 16, 2025, through summer 2026 with a “Celebrate Happy” theme. Guests can look forward to limited-time entertainment, vibrant decorations, special food and drinks, exclusive merchandise, and other exciting offerings.

Created in honor of the anniversary, an upbeat new theme song “Celebrate Happy” will be heard throughout the celebration across various entertainment experiences. “World of Color Happiness!” at Disney California Adventure Park
The all-new “World of Color” show is inspired by Walt Disney’s words from the opening day park dedication from seven decades ago: “To all who come to this happy place… welcome!”
This nighttime spectacular will explore “happy” through a kaleidoscope of emotions, hosted by Joy and the other Emotions from the hit Pixar Animation Studios films “Inside Out” and “Inside Out 2.” Along the way, the Emotions manifest music and moments from other favorite Pixar Animation Studios’ stories, including “Turning Red” and “The Incredibles,” as well as Walt Disney Animation Studios’ stories, including “A Goofy Movie,” “Tangled,” “Encanto” and so many more.
“World of Color Happiness!” will transform Paradise Bay with a brilliant array of signature fountains, dynamic lighting, colorful lasers, fog and dramatic flame effects, painting musical memories with all the wonder that only “World of Color” can create.
The show is an interactive joyride where guests are encouraged to sing and dance along. In addition to featuring classic Disney songs and other iconic favorites, Boyz II Men will lend their legendary R&B vocals in a rendition of “Rainbow Connection,” and FITZ — frontman and namesake of multi-platinum hitmakers Fitz and the Tantrums — will debut a new original song just for “World of Color” titled “Makes Me Wanna Move.”
By journey’s end, you’ll discover that happiness is made up of many different emotional colors, and Disneyland Resort is the magical place at the end of the rainbow where all those colors come together.
But that’s not all … the fun starts even before “World of Color” begins with a special message from some familiar faces. With the guidance of Joe the Legal Weasel, more than a dozen of The Muppets will delivertheir message throughvivid projections and expressive fountains ahead of the show.
Ahead of the first “World of Color Happiness!” of the evening, parkgoers in California Adventure are invited to vote on the Disneyland app* for one of four different Emotions — Sadness, Anger, Disgust or Envy — to see them featured in special scenes throughout both of that day’s shows. Be sure to enable push notifications and location services on your device, so you know when it’s time to vote.
