Disney PhotoPass is celebrating Valentine’s Day by bringing out the beautiful Cinderella’s Royal Coach in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park Feb. 13-14!
All knights, nobles and royalty are welcome to enjoy this special opportunity from Disney PhotoPass Service.
This is also a great place other than the front of the castle to get engaged.
Disney Springs, at the Walt Disney World Resort, has certainly re-invented itself this past year. One of the more recent additions is The Strolling Piano. This complimentary Live Entertainment Act can be spotted meandering through the Town Center Neighborhood of Disney Springs.
This entertainment venue is a slow-moving, Live Performance of piano-playing and singing. I was amazed at how the entire piano moves along while he is playing the piano and singing at the same time! You can find The Stolling Piano at Disney Springs Town Center on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 6:00pm-9:45pm.

Let’s face it, not everyone that visits Walt Disney World loves the idea of having to wear a magic band. Some guests prefer to keep them attached to their bags, belt loops, etc. instead of wearing them on their wrist.
Well, it appears Disney listened to guests feedback when they started putting together the Magic Band 2.0, and with the newly redesigned solid color bands, there also comes new options for how to take your magic band around the parks with you.
Currently the bands available are solid colored, just like the original magic bands, but the center “puck” is removable. (The puck is where your MDE and reservation information is stored). You can take your puck out of one magic band and put into into another magic band, or you can purchase one of Disney’s new Magic Keepers, which are a keychain fob that you can insert your puck into.
It seems there are currently two versions of Magic Keepers available at the parks: Mickey and Minnie, or a simple oval to insert your puck into.
Disney states they hope to start rolling out more graphic design magic bands for guests to purchase soon, so we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled for those in the near future as well.

Geyser Point Bar & Grill, Wilderness Lodge’s newest eatery opened its doors to visitors for this morning. Here’s a first look at both the interior and some of the menu items on offer.
The restaurant is located next to the Main Pool area at Wilderness Lodge with breathtaking waterside views. Its location means that guests can pick up a quick meal and take it pool side, lounge at the expansive outdoor seating area or indulge in the amazing surroundings of the indoor dining room/bar area complete with cedar beams and natural stone finishings perfectly in keeping with the Pacific Northwest theming that can be found throughout the rest of the resort.
Geyser Point will be taking the place of Roaring Fork and Trout Pass Pool Bar which are both undergoing lengthy refurbishments and offers Quick Service breakfast, lunch and dinner options as well as drinks and small plates.
For breakfast, guests can indulge in hearty home-style cooking including scrambled eggs with sausage and bacon, maple-cinnamon pancakes, and crab cakes Benedict. Lighter options are also available including seasonal fruit with lavender honey-yogurt, and steel-cut oatmeal topped with dried fruit and nuts.

There is also an all-day kids menu featuring trusted favorites like grilled chickens strips with dipping sauce and a finger food sampler with smoked turkey, Tillamook Cheddar and spiced apple.
The bar will be serving up an amazing array of artisanal drinks with an emphasis on the distilleries and breweries of the Pacific Northwest. There’s also an impressive wine list with a focus on heritage varietals grown in Oregon and Washington.
Designed to compliment the plethora of drinks on offer, Geyser Point has created a series of small plates including crispy fried oysters with miso tartar sauce; edamame with chili salt; cheesy barbecue brisket with house-made chips; “Shrimp on a Wire” with miso-lime vinaigrette, togarashi (Japanese spice mixture), shishito peppers and chili-aioli; salmon rillettes with sourdough crisps, and handcrafted charcuterie.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom treated Media and Annual Passholders to a soft opening of Rivers of Light on Friday, February 10th. Merchandise for the Rivers of Light show hit the shelves at Animal Kingdom that same day. Here are some photos and information regarding the all-new Rivers of Light Merchandise, available now.
There are quite a variety of merchandise options for purchase. The t-shirt is expected, as are the mug, hooded sweatshirt, ornament, and pens. There is also a shot glass, a blanket, a really pretty lanyard that lights up, a glowing hand-held fan, and the featured Animal Glow With the Show hand-held light wand. We have seen the Glow With The Show Mickey Ear Hats so we were surprised by this new merchandise choice that is sure to be hit with the young, and young-at-heart, crowds. The animals are presented in a fashion similar to a totem pole and each animal glows, and dances, to the music of the Rivers of Light show.
We want to make note of the Annual Passholder t-shirt and the Rivers of Light Pin. The shirt is made of polyester, which is a new option for specialty Disney t-shirts. It is light-weight and is supposed be a wicking material. Polyester does not typically breathe well but the feel of the shirt is quite soft. The Rivers of Light Merchandise Pin is lovely and almost looks like stained glass. The pins are not on display and I asked a Cast Member, at check-out, why there was not a pin for the Rivers of Light Show. We were then told that there is and it’s a very “coveted item.” Apparently the pin will not make an appearance from behind-the-scenes until official opening on February 17, 2017.

The excitement has been building with all the commercials, trailers, and merchandise we are seeing for the Live Action film ‘Beauty and the Beast’ in theaters March 17, 2017. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is now featuring a 10 minute Sneak Peek as well as the famous yellow costume dress worn by Emma Watson (Belle) in the movie. You can find the Beauty and the Beast Sneak Peek and Costume dress on display at One Man’s Dream.
After seeing this Sneak Peek of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ I am convinced the film is going to be excellent. If you have seen the commercial that tells you that you think you know the story, but not like this, that is the truth. I am not sure if this is the intent of the film, but I did pick up on a possible reference to the movie ‘The Sound of Music’ where Julie Andrews sings the “Hills Are Alive” song in the film. The Live Action Beauty and the Beast is greatly anticipated and I cannot wait to see it next month when it opens.
The costume dress, worn by Emma Watson as Belle, is stunning. The detail of the stitching and the train of the costume dress are really beautiful. The showcase display also features the necklace worn by Emma Watson with the dress and the Bell Jar with the infamous Red Rose.

The producers of Disney Live and Disney on Ice is recalling 30,000 light spinner toy wands which were sold at the shows in October and December.
Field Entertainment, the company that produced the toys are saying the top part of the light spinner wands could possibly detach. This could cause an eight-inch metal rod to become exposed which will pose an injury hazard to children. The toy wands which are being recalled are either the yellow, red and black 18-inch wand with Mickey Mouse on top or a pink, white and blue 18-inch wand with Minnie Mouse on the top, the lot numbers are 954544 and 954603. Marvel just released a featurette giving fans a glimpse into the making of Infinity War. Production started in January and (according to RDJ) will be a year in the making.
To those of us who know the comics and/or have religiously been watching the development of the Avengers since the first “Iron Man” won’t be surprised by any of this news – but will nerd out none the less. In here is concept art from the film, featuring Iron Man, Thanos, and also Guardians of the Galaxy. Kevin Feige explains the road travelled from Iron Man to where we are today. It’s a very informative short for anyone who is a fan on any scale.
Something to take note – Infinity Wars features the infinity stones, now if you don’t really know what the stones are – here’s an awesome tidbit, in the special features of “Avengers: Age Of Ultron” is a featurette called ‘The Infinite Six’, check it out. It gives all the info on the infinity stones, what they do and where they are in the universe. It also tells a little more about Thanos.
I don’t know about you all, but I’m so excited about this new Avengers. Of course, until then the latest Guardians will be out this summer, so it’s all good!!
Production has begun on Walt Disney Studio’s “Mary Poppins Returns” in the U.K. Disney announced Friday. The much-anticipated sequel to Disney’s 1964 classic “Mary Poppins” stars Emily Blunt as the magical nanny created by author P.L. Travers, taking over the role from Oscar-winner Julie Andrews. The sequel co-stars Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer, Julie Walters, Colin Firth and Meryl Streep. Young actors Pixie Davies, Nathanael Saleh and Joel Dawson play the three new Banks children. The original film’s co-star, Dick Van Dyke, who is 91, has also been announced to appear.
Directed by Rob Marshall and written by David Magee, and also serves as producer alongside John DeLuca and Marc Platt. Tony Award winners Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman have written new songs for the film, with Shaiman also composing the original score.
Set in Depression-era London of the 1930s, “Mary Poppins Returns” sees Michael and Jane Banks (Whishaw and Mortimer) now grown up. After Michael suffers a personal loss, Mary Poppins re-enters the lives of the Banks family and, along with the optimistic street lamplighter Jack (Miranda), uses her unique magical skills to help the family rediscover the joy and wonder missing in their lives.
