First Look at New March Tsum Tsum Tuesday Collections

It’s another Tsum Tsum Tuesday! That means the release of a new collection, and sneak peeks at collections to come! This Tuesday brings us a brand new Star Wars Tsum Tsum series! The new March Tsum Tsum Tuesday collections look like quite the treat!

The all new Bambi Tsum Tsum collection will be prancing into stores on March 21st! This collection will bring us both minis, and medium plush toys. We’ve seen Thumper, Miss Bunny, and Bambi in Tsum Tsum form before, but these have been given a few differences in the details. Most notably is Thumper’s facial expression. Friend Owl makes his adorable debut, and I’m not sure if it’s Grown-up Bambi, or Bambi’s father we’re seeing with the antlers, what do you think?

The Easter Mystery Box series has been previewed on the Disney Store UK’s website, and slated to debut March 7th. However there is no word on a US release date yet. I’m hoping we get these though, because not only are the ADORABLE, but they are marshmallow scented! Kids are obsessed with blind boxes lately, so these will be a super fun addition to Easter Baskets, or instead of giving a kid an egg full of candy. You’ll love the Dumbo details on this one, just look at the little duckling on his head!

Last but most certainly not least, we have the sneak peek of the new Beauty and the Beast carrying case collection. This one is also slated for launch on the Disney UK website for March 7th. That’s also the week before the new Live Action Movie, so it would be a nice collection for the 7th. I’m loving that this has all of our Beauty and the Beast favorites, in human form! I also find the carrying case top notch, with Sultan as a footstool! We get Sultan in doggy form with this collection too! Enchanting!

Once Upon a Dream I found the perfect leggings, then I woke up and saw they were real! These colorful Sleeping Beauty Leggings are amazingly colorful, and full of vivid characters from the Disney movie.

These are a stretchy form fitting legging, that have a continuous design over the entire fabric. The characters repeat on each leg, so from no matter which way you look you can see almost every character. New Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Opening at Tokyo Disney

Tokyo Disney will be opening a second Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique location at the Tokyo Disneyland Resort on April 21st. The new location will be located inside the World Bazaar, while the previous location remains at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel.

Disney describes the new boutique opening as including a premium dress exclusive to the location, as well as a special photo studio setting for newly crowned princesses to pose with their royal subjects. The dress itself is inspired by Cinderella, with silhouettes of hearts and glass slippers, and comes with accessories to complete the look.

There will also be photo packages available with a number of different backdrops for your little princess. Reservations can be made up to one month out and are for guests age 3-11.

New 2017 Disney Trading Pins for the Disney Parks

I love collecting and trading Disney Trading Pins! The newest 2017 Disney Trading Pins have been revealed, and I’m so excited to check them out!

There are some fantastic new monthly pin collections available, which I think are a great way to commemorate a trip, recognize a birthday, or try to collect all of them! Two new exciting addictions to these collections are the “Essence of Evil” (3,000 edition size each) and “Doorways to Disney” (4,000 edition size each). The Essence of Evil collection is yup, you guessed it, VILLAINS! A new stylized limited edition Disney Villains Pin will be available to collect each month. The “Doorways to Disney” is a fun set of pins with hinges, so you can open the door to fabulous places within Disney.

The “Pin Trading Tales” (2,000 edition size each) and the Charming Characters (3,000 edition size each) also seen above, will only be found at Disneyland Resort. Also look for “Piece of Disney History” pins, which will have an edition size of 1,500 and will only be released at Walt Disney World Resort.

The Jungle Cruise 45th Anniversary collection will be released in Florida on May 11, 2017, and will even feature a JUMBO pin!

Continuing with the adventuring theme, mid-March will see the release of a specially designed pin collection to commemorate 50th Anniversary of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at Disneyland park. There will be a limited edition pin for Annual Passholders (3,000 edition size) and several individual limited edition pins (each will have an edition size of 2,500). The individual limited edition pins will be offered in a boxed set containing one completer pin (edition size is 500).

The gamer girl in me is very excited for the Digital Disney Mystery Collection. Each of the pins are characters remade in the style of classic arcade games, with a very 8-bit look. These pins will come in a mystery box of two.

Finally, the nerdy gamer girl is me is also delighted about the open edition Disney Emoji pin sets! We will be able to find these a the Disney Parks in late summer. You can see these fun characters in the “As Told By Disney Emoji” video series which retells favorite Disney stories using emojis. The character designs are also found in the Disney Emoji Blitz game. This fast-paced mobile game is connected to a custom keyboard where you can unlock more than 600 Disney and Pixar emojis and text your friends using them.

As you may have read (because we reported it) there has been an ongoing confrontation between “Frozen’s” Josh Gad and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” Daisy Ridley.
The two are both in “Murder On the Orient Express” and Josh is taking the opportunity to berate his co-star to get any information about the upcoming “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”

But really who can blame him?

This time around Josh sought out the help of others, and it’s hilarious. Just watch.

Will this be the last time he asks, or will we get another installment?

SeaWorld Orlando’s Seven Seas Food Festival Offers Fresh New Tastes From Around the World

SeaWorld Orlando opened the all-new Seven Seas Food Festival, for its inaugural year, on February 11, 2017. Upon arrival we were handed an event guide and Food & Brew Sampler with 10 samplings. The Food & Brew Samplers come in 10 samplings for $40 and 15 samplings for $55. We were told that this amazing new festival has replaced Viva la Musica and the Bands, Brew, BBQ events. We believe you will understand why this one festival can replace two when you experience Sea World Orlando’s Seven Seas Food Festival as it offers Live Music and fresh new tastes from Around the World.

Local artists will perform on the stage that is set up along the Bayside walkway near the Beer Huts. There are concerts at Bayside Stadium featuring headliner performers. The schedule of headliner musicians and performers is as follows:

Chef Hector Colon is such a nice guy. We enjoyed speaking with him. He was given full reign to use his knowledge and expertise to incorporate new flavors and innovative dishes for the Seven Seas Food Festival. Chef Hector Colon and his team have done a magnificent job with the menus for this new festival.

One of the things we found to be interesting about the menu boards is that two sides of each board give historical facts about the country represented and also some cool facts about the origination of the food items.

The other two sides of the menu boards list the menu in English on one side, and Spanish on the other.

The food kiosks were very interesting with the Asian Market being our favorite with regards to decoration and representation.

The non-alcoholic beverages we sampled were the Brazilian Frozen Lemonade from Brazilian Market and the Sparkling Pear from Asian Market. The beverages with alcohol are the Blue Frozen Lagoon Punch from Asian Market, Watermelon Slushy from Korean Market and Yu Ku Sake Coconut Nigori from Korean Market. Our personal favorites were the Brazilian Lemonade and the Watermelon Slushy.

If you enjoy Beer then you will really enjoy the Brew Huts located along the Bayside Walkway. The beer samplings are from all around the world.

If you enjoy sweets then you are in for a real treat with the Seven Seas Food Festival. We sampled six different sweet treats. They are as follows:

Marshmallow & Nutella Empanada from Mexican Market
Fried Kataifi Orange from Florida Market
Hawaiian Pineapple Dream Cake from Polynesian Island Market
Chocolate Tres Leche from Caribbean Market
Toffee Banana from Asian Market

Our favorite for flavor was the Hawaiian Pineapple Dream Cake while our favorite for presentation was the Bingsu Salted Vanilla Ice Cream.

You can find Seven Seas Food Festival specialty merchandise along the Bayside Walkway and throughout the park.

Your event guide will contain a small pocket map. As you meander along the Bayside Walkway you will see full-scale maps to help direct you as well.

If you are looking for something fun and interesting to do in the Orlando area, then you must spend a day at SeaWorld Orlando’s Seven Seas Food Festival to take a trip across the Seven Seas. From the Gulf Coast and the Pacific Coast, to the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and beyond your journey begins at SeaWorld Orlando’s Sevens Seas Food Festival.

The sampling lanyards give you the best bang for the buck as most items cost between $4.50 and $6.50. Annual Passholders also receive the standard discount of 10% off. If you are looking for something new and interesting to do then the Seven Seas Food Festival certainly meets that criteria. We were very pleased with our experience of fresh new tastes from around the world and we will definitely be heading back again. The Seven Seas Food Festival runs from February 11th through May 13th.

New details on Disney’s Moonlight Magic Event that is coming to the Magic Kingdom

DVC Members are invited to enjoy the “Moonlight Magic” event in the Magic Kingdom starting on Friday, Feb. 24 and Friday, March 3 from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m.

During this exclusive after-hours event at the Magic Kingdom, guests will have access to select attractions, complimentary food and beverage offerings and exclusive character meet and greets. Please note that the events are already sold out, so only Guests that have an existing reservation will be able to attend.

Check-In Information

I love when I find a Disney shirt that is not only cute, but clever! These Disney Inspired Tees by OnceUponaTeeShirt are exactly that. Styled with a beautiful design, but also a humorous phrase or quote about our favorite Disney loves.

From the hilarious “Off with Your Head” shirt featuring a Mickey’s Ice Cream Bar being bitten into, to the sweet “Romantic Monorail” shirt, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
