I’m always losing my stroller in the masses of strollers at the Disney Parks. There’s lots of fun options to find your stroller out there, but I like to also have a bit of decoration and flare when I go to Disney too. These Disney Cast Member Badge Inspired Stroller Tags are perfect for marking my stroller and decorating with Disney magic.
You won’t have to struggle to find your stroller anymore, set yours apart from the others with these glittery embroidered stroller tags. They don’t need to be covered in the rain either. The tags measure about 5 inches tall by 7 inches wide. These tags are made of thick and sturdy glitter vinyl, the back side is also reinforced with an additional layer of glitter vinyl so you will not see the messy backside of the embroidery. The designer is also happy to customize any of the thread or vinyl colors too.
It was recently announced that some of the original drinks from Pleasure Island were going to be making their return to Disney at Dockside Margaritas in Disney Springs! When I found myself in the Orlando area last Thursday, I knew I had to swing by and try one (okay, two) out! Let’s just say, I wasn’t disappointed.
The special throwback drinks are available only on Thursdays and the flavors are rotated each week with the Kungaloosh and Emil’s Strawberry Colada always available each Thursday. Also, the drinks are offered at a throwback price of just $9 for the alcoholic options and $5 for the non-alcoholic colada.
When we visited, the Armadillo Punch and the Punch Line the weekly flavors that were available:
I had the Punch Line and my husband has the Kungaloosh. They both were incredible! They were the perfect option for a nice and refreshing drink on a hot and steamy Florida day. The Punch Line was so good I had to go back for another! Trust me, you will not be disappointed.
To make our time at Dockside Margaritas even more magical, we were treated to the sounds of some amazing live music. The kids danced and played while my husband and I got to enjoy a nice break on the over-sized and very comfortable outdoor seating.
The drinks are scheduled to be available every Thursday until mid-September.

The 12th annual AdvoCare Invitaional is being held November 23rd, 24th, and 26th at HP Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and ESPN Events just revealed the bracket for the Invitational. The bracket-format tournament features 12 games over three days. Teams will compete once per day, advancing with a victory. The two teams that remain undefeated will face off in the championship game on Sun., Nov. 26, at 9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
The AdvoCare Invitational features 2016 NCAA Sweet 16 participant West Virginia, as well as NIT semifinalist UCF. Other participants include Long Beach State, Marist, Missouri, Nebraska, Oregon State and St. John’s.

Columbia Harbour House inside Magic Kingdom is the next restaurant to add Mobile Order service. This quick service location is expected to begin offering Mobile Order on Monday, July 31.
Columbia Harbour House is located in Liberty Square near the Haunted Mansion. This great quick service restaurant offers a variety of seafood selections including small tasty lobster rolls as well as a chicken pot pie and shrimp macaroni and cheese. If you are looking for a way to save money on food, this location ranks high on the list. Combo platters offer plenty of food and are perfect for sharing.

Mobile Order allows guests the convenience of reviewing menus and placing food orders from the convenience of their smart phones. Guests simply access the service through the My Disney Experience app. Once the app is opened, the steps are pretty easy to place your order.
Mobile Order currently is not available for any of the dining plans, but hopefully that will change soon.

Mission:SPACE fans have something to look forward to this summer. Starting Aug. 13,the Epcot attraction will relaunch the with a brand new experience and an enhanced version of the “classic” Mission: SPACE.
Orange Mission for a truly intense experience that lets you feel the force of an actual space launch en route to Mars. On this mission, you’ll dodge meteoroids, slingshot around the moon and attempt a precision landing on the Red Planet’s alien surface. This “mission” has been enhanced with new, HD video to make it even clearer – I can’t imagine!
Green Mission – a new mission that takes you on an exciting orbit around Earth. On this amazing new adventure, you’ll take in sites like the Hawaiian Islands, Italy’s “boot” and the Northern Lights—as seen from space, of course—before finally landing at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. No matter which mission you choose, it’ll be a journey that’s totally out of this world.
In addition to all the “mission” updates this Disney attraction has become MORE family-friendly. Younger astronauts now have the option to ride. The height restriction will be changed for the Green Mission side with the addition of new X-2 booster seats allowing children 40″ and up to ride.

Who’s ready for some donuts! And I’m not talking about just any kind of donuts, but new gourmet donuts that feature impressive confectionery creativity. Executive Chef Jason Martin is the brains behind these imaginative treats available at the The Coffee Cart on Main Street, U.S.A., at Disneyland park. Due to their incredible popularity he answered a few questions about his inspiration for the large variety of flavors.
How many flavors of donuts are sold at the cart on Main Street, U.S.A., each day?
“There are, usually, three flavors of donuts to choose from daily. There’s just no limit to what we will put on a donut! So far, we’ve introduced 40 different flavor combos.”
How do you get inspiration for new flavors? What’s the creation process like?
“We’re always looking for what’s hot, what’s new, what’s trending. The ideas can be related to people, parades, events and seasons. I ask members of my team for ideas and inspiration — and invite anyone who has an idea to make suggestions.”
What’s the most extravagant over-the-top flavor you’ve created?
“I’d say, the Matterhorn Macaroon donut or the Chocolate Covered Potato Chip donut.”
How often do flavors change or rotate?
“Every Friday, we introduce the new donut flavors.”
They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day right? It’s so important that I might need it as a snack later in the day too!

A recent upgrade to the My Disney Experience earlier this year brought new features to guests like mobile ordering and PhotoPass photo alerts. Today a brand new feature is being unveiled: Online Check-In.
When guests stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel they will be able to use this new service on the My Disney Experience mobile app. It will expedite arrival and give guests flexibility to customize their experience. The feature enables Guests to start the check-in process up to 60 days before their arrival, bypassing the need to visit the front desk. So as soon as guests set foot in Walt Disney World their vacation is all set to begin. Guests complete their check-in by unlocking their room, when it is ready, using the MagicBands sent to them prior to their arrival.
This new feature will allow guests to make room requests, add credit card information and authorize charges, submit an estimated arrival time to help prompt room access, receive a notification when their room is ready and more. It should be noted that room requests are not guaranteed and guests must provide consent to receive notifications.
Guests can begin the check-in process up to 60 days in advance but can also be done even just minutes before, even as their riding on Disney’s Magical Express to the resort.
Don’t worry, front desk and concierge cast members will still be available at all resort hotels to assist guests at their leisure for the duration of their stay.
To take advantage of the Online Check-In service and other features, be sure to download the latest version of My Disney Experience, now available in the App Store for iOS devices and Google Play for Android devices.

Disney is known for its state-of-the-art technology, and its incredible ability to immerse it’s park guests in their favorite movies. The latest technology from Disney Research takes that immersion to a whole new level. They’ve combined physical space and virtual space to create a mixed reality, allowing people to share space with animated characters.
Mixed reality technology has required users to wear gear, like headsets, to immerse themselves in the technology. Disney Research has changed the game by creating what they call the “Magic Bench” giving users a multi sensory experience, free of wearable technology. Users sit on the bench, which also allows groups to enjoy this interactive experience together, and face a mirrored display, providing a third party point of view. Depth sensors and haptic actuators create the feeling of actually being there and interacting with the characters. Users will hear animated characters as they are coming, see them as they enter the space, and feel them as the interact with the bench.

As shown in the video, participants were able to interact with animated characters, one user even caught a ball from a character.
The possibilities with the Magic Bench are endless. With no need for wearable gear, the fully immersive experiences can be enjoyed together, among large groups. Just imagine how amazing this technology would be in a park attraction!
In fact, Disney Parks Blog recently posted about the new Mickey and Minnie ride coming to Hollywood Studios, saying “you’ll step through the movie screen and join Mickey and his friends like never before,” with Disney Imagineers calling the attraction “game-changing” using what they are calling a new “2 1/2 D” experience. Could this new technology be the same we are seeing with the Magic Bench? Only time will tell.

On May 27th, Disney World launched their mobile ordering service via the My Disney Experience app. Initially, mobile orders were only available for Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom’s Pandora – The World of Avatar, but over the last two months Disney has expanded the service to multiple locations around the parks. The latest addition is Magic Kingdom‘s Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, located in Frontierland.
Pecos Bill is a quick service restaurant serving up delicious mexican dishes, my favorite being the Fajita Platter!
Mobile order is still in its early stages, credit cards are currently the only from of payment accepted. Guests wishing to use a Disney dining plan or passholder discounts will need to order with a Cast Member at the register.
