Walt Disney World is celebrating the 35th Night of Joy this year with some big names in Christian music. This year’s events will feature performances by Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, MercyMe, and Kirk Franklin.
You can catch all your Christian music favorites on September 8 and 9 at ESPN Wide World of Sport Complex. Award-winning artist Matthew West will serve as the host for the 2017 Night of Joy.

Star Wars: Force For Change in collaboration with Omaze will launch the Star Wars “Past, Present and Future” fundraising campaign to benefit UNICEF and Starlight Children’s Foundation. The campaign is themed around the timeless appeal of Star Wars, with experiences inspired by the saga’s past, present, and future. Lucky winners will receive prizes, like the chance to appear in the upcoming Han Solo movie, tickets to the world premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, or, an overnight stay at the fabled Skywalker Ranch.
Over the course of four weeks between April 11th and May 11th, 2017, fans may enter at Omaze.com/StarWars for a chance to win these once-in-a-lifetime Star Wars experiences, with each week bringing a new prize to be awarded to a randomly-selected winner. Additionally, at the end of the campaign, one randomly-selected grand prize winner will be awarded all three amazing experiences.
Starlight Children’s Foundation is joining Star Wars: Force for Change as the initiative’s newest charity beneficiary in 2017. Through a $1 million grant, Star Wars: Force for Change supports the foundation’s core programs which are designed to bring comfort and joy and comfort to hospitalized kids through Starlight’s network of more than 700 children’s hospitals, clinics, camps and other partners across the US. Star Wars: Force for Change and fan donations through this campaign will also provide new Starlight programs, like fun, comfortable Star Wars-themed Starlight Brave Gowns, to tens of thousands of hospitalized children across the country.
Since 2014, Star Wars: Force for Change and UNICEF have joined together to help improve the lives of children around the world. With the support of Star Wars fans, the collaboration has raised more than $9 million to help the world’s most vulnerable children. To date, Star Wars: Force for Change has helped UNICEF save the lives of over 30,000 children suffering from severe acute malnutrition through the distribution of over 4 million packets of Ready to Use Therapeutic Food Packets (RUTF) around the world.
“In a year that we celebrate 40 years of the Star Wars saga, I continue to be inspired by the incredible generosity and charitable efforts of our fans,” said Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy. “We are so proud of their tireless dedication to positively impact the lives of children and others around the world, and hope this year’s Force For Change campaign will offer a few of those wonderful fans an experience they will never forget.”

The big week for “Star Wars” fans is finally here! Star Wars Celebration is happening this weekend in Orlando, and there are sure to be some big announcements coming out of the official event, with dozens of panels spilling details on upcoming “Star Wars” movies, books, comics, toys, and video games.
Today ABC’s morning news program “Good Morning America” teased a big announcement of its own coming tomorrow with Luke Skywalker and Rey (Mark Hamill and Daisy Ridley) on hand for whatever reveal the show has up its sleeve.
Any guesses as to what this “big announcement” might be? Tune in to “Good Morning America” tomorrow morning on ABC to find out for sure.

This unique event to Hong Kong Disneyland runs until April 17th, 2017.
Take part in Tokyo Disney’s “Easter Program.” This program features Usatama, mischievous bunny-eared characters known for causing chaos all over Tokyo’s Parks.
In addition to celebrating Spring,Disneyland Pariswill be celebrating also be celebrating their 25th anniversary on April 12th, 2017. Celebrations have already started including a new parade, two castle shows, and a nighttime spectacular. During “Disney Illuminations,” jump into your favorite Disney movie as scenes are projected onto Sleeping Beauty Castle. Transport yourself into a far away galaxy during Star Tours: The Adventure Continues.
Walt Disney World offers you several chances to celebrate the Spring season. Start off in Epcot for the International Flower and Garden Festival. This iconic even features signature topiaries reflecting Disney characters. Also make sure to eat around the world with foods made from the freshest ingredients. While you are there, purchase one of the new refillable acrylic wine glasses to drink on the Epcot Wine Stroll. You can hop down the bunny trail to the Magic Kingdom to have a meet and greet with Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny. This popular couple are making appearances in Town Square until April 16th. As an added bonus, a special Easter per-parade will make it’s way through the Magic Kingdom prior to the Festival of Fantasy of parade on April 15th and 16th. Across the country in Disneyland, take part in the “Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt.” Running until April 16th, this egg-themed scavenger hunt takes place all over Disneyland Park, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. Also, going on until April 16th, is the California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. Don’t forget to take in the Main Street Electrical Parade which has been extended until August 20th!
The Springtime fun is not just limited to the parks! Several restaurants at Disney resorts will be offering special Easter brunch and tea options while you can check out the famous Easter Egg Display at the Grand Floridian in Walt Disney World.
