Cake Decorating Classes at Amorette’s Pastisserie in Disney Springs Extended

Great news cake fans! Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World that they have extended their popular cake decorating classes through August 25,2017. In addition to the one class a week that is currently offered, they have added on two more classes, for a total of three classes a week! The dates and times of the classes starting May 15, 2017 are as follows:

Sunday mornings at 9:00 am
Wednesday mornings at 9:00 am
Friday mornings at 9:00 am

Each class lasts for 90 minutes and costs $129 for up to two participants for one cake. Space is very limited as there are only 12 spots offered per class. Reservations can be made by clicking here or by calling 407-WDW-DINE. This class is only available for guests age 10 and up.

Sneak Preview of “Cars 3” Is Racing Into Disney Parks

In the next few weeks, Disney park guests will get a sneak peek of Pixar’s “Cars 3”. This preview will be available at both the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts.

Disneyland

The Bug’s Life Theater, at Disney California Adventure Park, will preview “Cars 3” in 3D with special in-theater effects, starting May 12.

Walt Disney World

One Man’s Dream, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, will present this preview as part of its attraction. Artwork and maquettes from the production will also be on display, starting May 26.

Cars 3 Storyline

Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician, Cruz Ramirez (voice of Cristela Alonzo), with her own plan to win, plus inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage!

To honor Star Wars Day – May the Fourth, Pandora looked at the most popular tracks and trends from all of the Star Wars soundtracks! Some of the findings might surprise you—stats below.

Apparently Pandora listeners are also huge Star Wars fans… over 750,000 users have added a John Williams stations, and his music has spun over 446 million times.
In terms of theme songs, Darth’s is more popular hands down—“The Imperial March” has nearly 7 million spins, with “Princess Leia’s Theme” coming in second with over 880,000 spins, and “Yoda’s Theme” with over 400,000 spins.
Main Title or End Credits? According to track spins across all versions of both, End Credits has 19.5+ million spins, and Main Title has 9.6+ million spins.

Across all of the soundtracks, here’s a ranking of the top spinning songs:
1. Duel of The Fates (Episode I): 10.6 million
2. The Imperial March (Episode V): 6.7 million

Marvel’s “Runaways” On Hulu Premieres Its First Cast Photo

Marvel’s “Runaways” is the latest show from Marvel Television that will be coming directly to streaming service Hulu. Disney/Marvel just shared the first cast photo.

The series is based on the groundbreaking comic book series that follows the story of six diverse teenagers who overcome their differences to unite a against a common foe – their villainous parents. It’s a coming of age story for a new generation of Marvel fans. Like The Breakfast Club, but with super-heroes.

The series is created by the team behind “The O.C.” and “Gossip Girl,” Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. They will both produce and co-write the show along with Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory. The series is expected to premiere in 2018.

The Official Disney Preview for Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom is Here!

If you haven’t heard yet, the new fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, Happily Ever After, will make it’s debut on May 12. This new show will be replacing Wishes making it the third regular nighttime fireworks show to debut at the Magic Kingdom. The new show will combine the latest in fireworks, pyrotechnics, lasers, hand-drawn animation, original music, a new theme song, and much more. These elements will work together to tell a heart-wrenching story about the importance of chasing your dreams, no matter what, and finding your own Happily Ever After.

Disney cameras were on-hand this week as the team launched one of the first run-troughs of the show in preparation of it’s debut one week from today. Check out this video for a sneak peek:

As we let you know earlier this year, Freeform is airing a brand new special called “Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings” which gives viewers a look at some of the magical and romantic ways couples can get married at Disney locations around the world.

It airs this Sunday May 7th at 8pm/7c on Freeform, so set your reminders!

Ruby and Eric from Oxnard, California
Ruby and Eric quickly got married at the courthouse seven years ago before Eric was deployed overseas. With a breathtaking setting in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Resort in California, an unexpected carriage ride down Main Street U.S.A., and an even bigger surprise wedding serenade by Pentatonix, Ruby and Eric’s wedding is one for the history books.

Carolina and Isaiah from Phoenix, Arizona
Carolina was Isaiah’s “seventh grade girl of his dreams” and will now soon be his wife. This adventurous couple knew a traditional wedding wasn’t their style and decided on a “wedding-moon” in the Bahamas. With family and friends in tow, Carolina and Isaiah sail off on Disney Cruise Line for a romantic and fun Disney’s private island wedding adventure.

Taylor and Tyler from Dallas, Texas
Taylor and Tyler spend their magical day at Epcot in Florida. Taylor’s family has a deep history with The Walt Disney Company, with her father working for the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and her sister as a voice actor on Disney Channel’s “Star Wars Rebels.” With this family legacy, Taylor’s dream wedding has always been a Disney wedding. With a choreographed first dance and Taylor’s goal of making Tyler cry, this is sure to be a wedding viewers will never forget.

Melanie and Greg from Peoria, Illinois
Melanie thinks her boyfriend Greg is taking her on a fun vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida to get away from the stresses of their life. The couple heads out on a sunrise safari ride at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, but unbeknownst to her, Melanie is in for the surprise of her life as Greg has prepared an unforgettable wedding proposal.

Temporary Monorail Route Changes Coming Later This Month

Prepare for modified monorail routes on the Magic Kingdom resort loop later this month.

The route changes will take place from 11:30am to 6pm and Floridian Resort and Magic Kingdom. It will not service the Transportation and Ticket Center or Disney’s Contemporary Resort. During this time the Express Monorail will make a stop at the Contemporary Resort in addition to its regular stops at the Transportation and Ticket Center and Magic Kingdom.

The monorail is definitely my favorite way to travel to Magic Kingdom or Epcot. “¡Por favor manténgase alejado de las puertas!”.

As we previously reported, we were anticipating the confirmation of a new meet and greet opportunity at Hollywood Studios. Today, we can confirm that Star-Lord and Groot from the movie Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 have arrived! Star-Lord and Baby Groot can be found in One Man’s Dream and are scheduled to be meeting their fans throughout the 2017 holiday season.

Yeehaw Bob Celebrates His 20th Year Performing at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside

Last night Yehaa Bob, the crowd favorite performer at the River Roost Lounge at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, celebrated his 20th year performing at the resort.

Yehaa Bob Jackson keeps guests entertained with his wacky piano playing and singing. Many will plan their trips around his performance schedule. His motto comes from a quote from Walt Disney, “Give the people everything you can give them…Make it a real fun place to be.” His silly faces and comedic antics are a great way to enjoy an “evening in” during your Walt Disney World vacation.

His performances are typically Wednesday through Saturday at 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

The plaque that welcomes you as you enter Disneyland is almost magical. The words inscribed above describe Walt’s vision of how you should feel entering the Happiest Place on Earth. This Disneyland Entrance Plaque by QuestDesignCanada on Etsy, is a perfect way to cherish that memory at home.

“Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy.” This resin casting measures 11″ x 6 x 1/2″ and has brass powder embedded in it for an authentic metal appearance. Resin is a great medium for replicas as it’s much lighter than a solid piece of metal. This plaque comes with a metal hook on the back for mounting to a wall or door. It is a stunning replica of the entryway plaque to Disneyland in California! This is truly an amazing piece of artwork for a Disneyland fan!
