Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts to Host DVC Member Halloween Parties

If you are part of the Disney Vacation Club and are looking for some extra Disney fun on Halloween, the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts have you covered! Each Disney Resort is hosting their own DVC members only Halloween Party, part of the Membership Magic Ever After, and we have all the details for you.

The Walt Disney World Resort will be hosting two DVC parties on October 31st at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The parties will take place in the Ballroom of the America’s, with the first party running 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and the second 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The party will include:

  • Meet a Walt Disney World Ambassador
  • DJ dance party
  • Pirate-themed selfie station
  • Carnival-style games
  • Prizes
  • Face painting
  • Character photo
  • Themed desserts
  • Themed snacks
  • Non-alcoholic drinks

DVC members can reserve their spot through Member Services beginning August 24th. The cost is $25 per guest.

Over on the west coast, Disneyland Resort will host a Haunted Mansion themed party, for DVC members, on October 31st from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The party will take place at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa in their Sequoia Ballroom. The party will include:

  • DJ dance party
  • Carnival-style games
  • Face painting
  • Character photo
  • Themed desserts
  • Themed snacks
  • Non-alcoholic drinks

DVC members can reserve their spot through Member Services beginning August 31st. The cost is $25 per guest.

Guests attending any one of the DVC Halloween parties, are incouraged to wear costumes, but Disney asks that you please read and follow the costume guidelines they have set in place:

  • All Guests may dress as their favorite character, but may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests.
  • Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent.
  • Costumes may not contain any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
  • Costumes may not contain sharp objects, pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another guest.
  • Layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body are strongly discouraged and may be subject to additional security screening.
  • Costumes may not reach or drag on the ground (e.g., full-length Princess dresses)
  • For guests 13 and under, some masks may be worn, as long the mask does not cover the entire face and eyes are visible.

Guests 14 and older must also adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Capes may be worn if the length does not go below the waist.
  • Themed T-shirts, blouses, sweatshirts and hats are acceptable.
  • Acceptable accessories include: transparent wings, plastic light sabers, toy swords and tutus.
  • Headwear may be worn as long as it does not cover the face.
  • Masks of any kind may not be worn, except for medical purposes.
  • Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry into, and/or removed from, the event, unless his or her costume can be modified to meet the above standards.
