The new BaseLine Tap House coming to Hollywood Studios in Disney World is scheduled to open sometime in the next few months – an official date is still yet to be announced by Disney. By the looks of these photos we just captured, they are right on track for a fall opening.

As you can see, it appears BaseLine Tap House will offer indoor and outdoor seating. The umbrellas are even already up – just covered – on the outside tables!

It’s time to start picking out our Halloween costumes! We just got ours from the Disney Store, and I have to say I’m always impressed with their costume quality. Today we’re taking a look at our favorite Top 5 Disney Store Halloween Costumes for Boys! Star Wars and Marvel are always big hits!

5. Star-Lord Costume for Kids – Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Our singing host, Mateo, is joined by an ensemble of Folklórico dancers and the GRAMMY-winning Mariachi Divas, bringing to vibrant life three of the film’s enchanting songs.

In addition to daily performances of “A Musical Celebration of Coco” at Plaza de la Familia, you’ll also enjoy authentic Mariachi music on the Paradise Gardens Bandstand, The World of Coco exhibit, a Tree of Life interactive photo location and a delicious all-new menu of Mexican foods. Plaza de la Familia is inspired by the beautiful tradition of Día de los Muertos that celebrates loved ones who have passed and honors the familial bonds that last forever.

Wine Bar George in Disney Springs Construction Update

We have recently been able to grab some construction photos of the newly anticipated Wine Bar George opening at Disney Springs.

The 6000 sq. ft. wine bar is located in The Landing, next to Raglan Road.

As you can see, the second floor is still actively underway with the interior structure of the patio still exposed. It is looking more like it will feature a second floor indoor/outdoor tasting area.

Wine Bar George is described as an estate-style wine bar, named for Master Sommelier George Miliotes. The wine bar will offer more than 100 wine selections (well known and up-and-coming) handpicked by Miliotes himself. They will also offer a selection of shareable plates to be paired with their wine list.

No official opening date has been released for Wine Bar George, we just know it is been delayed and is now expected to open sometime early 2018. Stayed tuned to Chip & Co. and we will keep you updated on construction progress.

Anyone familiar with Hollywood Studios will notice a big change happening at Echo Lake. It’s empty! No need to panic though, it’s just going through a little refurbishment.

I love that we can take a peak at what Gertie looks like below the water line! The lake has been drained in order for it to be repainted. Dinosaur Gertie and Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner will also get some love with a fresh paint job.

Additional adjustments in the landscaping around the area are also in the works.

I seriously can’t even contain my excitement right now. A Hidden Mickey Avocado Backpack exists, and it’s glorious! Shop Hazel and Bean has created this incredible almost edible creation, and I am obsessed! Who needs avocado toast when we can have a Mickey avocado bag?

I mean just look at HOW cute this is! The bright green avocados have a brown hidden Mickey in the middle instead of a pit. The gorgeous aqua blue background contrasts perfectly with the succulent green avocado designs. This is such an adorably creative idea!

Not only do I love avocados, but I truly love any Disney food print, even foods I don’t personally like. This is a sturdy cotton backpack, that’s big enough to carry your essentials while touring the Disney Parks. However, it’s also small enough to bring on rides comfortable! Karen McClintock gave you a first look at this year’s 17th annual Haunted Mansion Holiday gingerbread house at Disneyland park last week. Now take a look at how the Oogie Boogie and bug-filled house came together from the creative teams at the Disneyland Resort Central Bakery along with the talented techs in Entertainment Production. They installed two time-lapse cameras in the Grand Ballroom the Friday before it was finished. As you can see, it was a true team effort!

Peek Inside a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding

It’s any true Disney-lover’s dream come true: Getting married inside one of the Disney Theme Parks. Well, for Sarah and Gilbert, their dreams came true! They were recently married and had their ceremony and reception at Disneyland’s California Adventure Park.

As you can imagine, everything was Disney-themed down to the very last detail. Guests were given Mickey-shaped fans to cool off from the California sunshine. Table numbers were represented by “Disney couples.” The wedding cake was Up-themed featuring Dole whip and Churro flavors!

The magic doesn’t end there though. The wedding couple and their guests were also treated to a private viewing area for World of Color and a spin on Toy Story Midway Mania after the park officially closed. And, of course, what wedding at Disney would be complete without a visit for the Mouses themselves? Yes! Mickey and Minnie stopped by the reception to congratulate the happy couple!
