First up, let’s talk tees. They’ve got a cool Germany gray t-shirt ($34.99) where Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are having a musical blast. Goofy’s on the tuba, Donald’s rocking the alphorn, and Mickey’s squeezing an accordion. “Deutschland” is splashed across a yellow banner, and you’ve got the EPCOT World Showcase logo chillin’ below.

There’s another Germany gray shirt ($29.99) with “Germany” in a fancy script and an alpine hat. Flip it around, and you’ll see Mickey and the gang on stage with instruments again, “Deutschland” up top, and a German flag Mickey icon front and center. For the ladies, there’s an adorable white Germany tee ($34.99) featuring Mickey and Minnie all decked out in their German outfits. They’ve got a German flag Mickey between them, “Deutschland” up top in red, and “Germany” on a green banner underneath. Of course, the EPCOT World Showcase logo makes an appearance too.

Moving on to headwear, the Germany ear headband ($34.99) is a total eye-catcher. It’s got the German flag colors all over, with red ears embroidered with yellow and red flowers and green vines. The bow in the middle is shimmery gold and has Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy right in the center. Plus, “EPCOT World Showcase” and “Germany” are printed in gold on the sides.

If you’re more of a cap person, there’s a black Germany baseball cap ($29.99) with “Germany” on a green banner and a German flag Mickey icon. Check out the side for little embroidered icons of an alpine hat, pretzel, and beer stein. The back has “EPCOT World Showcase” stitched in yellow.

Time for drinkware! The Germany mug ($24.99) is super cute with Mickey and Minnie in their traditional German clothes. There’s a German flag Mickey in the middle, “Deutschland” near the top, and “Germany” on a green banner below. The other side shows Mickey in green and yellow lederhosen with a gray hat and a red feather. You’ll also find the EPCOT World Showcase logo in yellow.

Germany Pavilion Collection

If you like to keep your drinks insulated, the Germany Tervis tumbler ($49.99) is covered in Mickey and friends along with all sorts of German goodies like flowers, the flag, Mickey icons, beer steins, and a clock. The EPCOT World Showcase logo goes all the way around the bottom.

For other fun souvenirs, there’s a wood-style Germany magnet ($14.99) with Mickey and Minnie in their German outfits and a cute cottage clock between them. “Germany” is written in a sweet script font above them. The Germany keychain ($14.99) features Minnie, Mickey, and Goofy playing the tuba, and the back has the EPCOT World Showcase logo embossed on it. And if you’re already thinking about the holidays, the Germany clock ornament ($34.99) shows Mickey and Minnie standing on a platform in front of a green and red clock.

Germany Pavilion Collection

Last but not least, for the kitchen whizzes out there, the Germany apron ($39.99) is green and yellow and has a similar design to one of the Mickey and Minnie shirts. There’s artwork of the duo in their German attire above the pocket, with a German flag Mickey in between. “Deutschland” is up top, “Germany” is on a banner below, and the EPCOT World Showcase logo is at the very bottom. The pocket even has little pictures of an alpine hat, pretzel, and beer stein.

So, if you’re looking for a little piece of Germany to take home with you, this collection has got you covered!

First up, they’ve got these Baking Mat Sets for $60. Now, baking mats are already pretty awesome for saving your pans and being all eco-friendly and reusable, but these? These have Remy and Emile, the little rat buddies from the movie, right on them! Whether you’re whipping up some cookies or roasting veggies, these mats are gonna make you smile. Plus, they’re saying it’s a limited run, so you know they’re gonna go fast.

Then, hold onto your hats, because they’ve got Dutch ovens! Yes, the Dutch Baby, their round 3.5-quart cast iron in Salt, now has Remy and Emile chilling on it. Orlando Theme Parks Accident & Injury Report: 1st Quarter 2025

Even in the most magical places on Earth, safety comes first—and Florida’s quarterly theme park injury report reminds us that even the happiest of haunts and most thrilling rides need to be taken seriously.

According to the Florida Department of Agriculture’s Exempt Facilities Report for the first quarter of 2025 (January through March), here’s a look at the incidents reported by the major Orlando-area theme parks.

  • Manta (3/28): A 49-year-old woman experienced syncope (fainting) after riding.

🏝️ Busch Gardens Tampa Bay & LEGOLAND Florida

Both reported no incidents this quarter.

These reports are self-disclosed by the parks and only include incidents where a guest required transport to a hospital. Because the parks do not have access to full medical records, the details are limited to what’s known at the time of the event. Do to privacy concerns, the Florida Department of Agriculture does not receive updates to the patient’s condition.

Major theme parks like Disney and Universal are exempt from routine state inspections due to their size and having inspection staffing in-house, but they’re still required to be transparent when serious incidents occur. It’s a reminder to ride smart, know your health, and stay hydrated—especially when Florida heat and high-speed thrills collide.

¡Viva la Pavement! New Themed Concrete Enhances Entrance to EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion

The Chip and Co crew took a stroll through EPCOT recently and spotted something that’s concrete-ly cool — fresh themed pavement is being installed around the entrance to the Mexico pavilion! This subtle update is giving guests an even more immersive welcome to the land of fiestas, folklore, and flavorful food.

The new concrete features a deeper, slightly orange hue compared to the older, lighter pathways, instantly evoking a more authentic, sunbaked look. But it’s not just the color that’s different — this pavement has texture! Tiny gravel pieces and thematic “cracks” have been added to create a worn-in, earthy feel that fits perfectly with the pavilion’s Mesoamerican aesthetic.

Guests will notice the new pavement flanking both sides of the La Cantina de San Angel entrance archway, as well as surrounding the foot of the iconic pyramid that houses the pavilion’s indoor marketplace and beloved Gran Fiesta Tour ride.

Stay tuned as EPCOT continues to evolve, one carefully crafted detail at a time.

From Magic to Main Street: How Disney is Powering the U.S. Economy

From a humble cartoon studio in 1923 to a cultural titan spanning nearly every facet of American life, Disney has always been more than just Mickey ears and Main Street charm. Under the leadership of Bob Iger, the company is doubling down on its U.S. roots with investments and initiatives that are as bold as a Broadway finale.

🎬 Hollywood and Home Turf
In 2025 alone, Disney is spending over $23 billion on movies, TV series, and licensed content — and the lion’s share of that goes straight back into the U.S. economy. Since 2017, they’ve nearly doubled their production spending, proving that the House of Mouse is also a powerhouse of domestic content creation.

🎢 Building the Magic — Literally
What’s more magical than a new attraction? How about $30 billion being poured into Disney’s U.S. theme parks and resorts — a move that will create 10,000 new jobs across Florida and California. That’s enough pixie dust to cover Cinderella’s Castle and Sleeping Beauty’s.

👩‍💼 160,000 Strong (and Growing)
Disney currently employs 160,000 people across all 50 states — from animators to zoologists. Whether it’s backstage or on Main Street U.S.A., these are the people who bring the magic to life, and Disney is investing in their futures too. Through Disney Aspire, the company has pumped $370 million into education and professional growth.

🌟 Wishes Come True Every Hour
Through its decades-long partnership with Make-A-Wish, Disney is the No. 1 wish granter in the world — granting one wish every hour, every single day. It’s not just fairy tales—this is real-world magic for children facing critical illness.

🛍️ Consumer Magic
Disney tops the charts as the No. 1 licensor of consumer products in the U.S., with around 500 American companies bringing the magic to store shelves in every category imaginable.

💖 A Force for Good
With $100 million already invested in transforming children’s hospitals and a track record of community uplift, Disney isn’t just about storytelling — it’s about rewriting the script for what a responsible, beloved business looks like.

As Walt himself once said, “If you could see close in my eyes, the American flag is waving in both of them.” That spirit lives on today — in every wish granted, every job created, and every magical moment shared from coast to coast.

Guest Detained at Disney’s Magic Kingdom After Cocaine Discovery

Walt Disney World may be the Most Magical Place on Earth, but that doesn’t mean it’s immune to some real-world drama. A recent arrest at Magic Kingdom on March 29, 2025, has made headlines after a guest was caught trying to enter the park with cocaine in his possession—right in front of his child.

According to a criminal complaint filed by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the Magic Kingdom bus loop security checkpoint just before 5:30 p.m., where off-duty officers had detained a man—later identified as 39-year-old Dustin Wallace. During a routine security screening, a Disney security officer noticed a bulge in Wallace’s wallet. Upon inspection, the officer spotted a bag of powdery white substance, prompting him to alert his supervisor.

Florida Man Allegedly Caught with Wallet Full of Cocaine at the Magic Kingdom

Wallace admitted to deputies that the substance was cocaine and that he had been using it for about a month to cope with work stress. He claimed he had placed the drugs in his wallet before attempting to enter the park. A field test confirmed the presence of cocaine, and Wallace was placed under arrest without incident. He was also issued a trespass warning, effectively banning him from all Disney properties.

Wallace was later released on a $2,500 bond, posted through United States Fire Insurance Company, and has retained legal counsel. His attorney, Muna Abraham of Longwell Lawyers, has entered a not guilty plea on his behalf and plans to file a motion to dismiss.

While Disney may be a land of fairy tales, this sobering story serves as a reminder: bringing illegal substances into the parks will turn your dream vacation into a legal nightmare faster than you can say “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo.”

Disney World Makes Changes to Moderate Resort Room Type Categories in 2026

Disney’s Moderate Resorts Are Getting a Room-Tastic Refresh for 2026!

Walt Disney World is giving its Moderate Resorts a little sprinkle of pixie dust in 2026—but this time, it’s all about the names! If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed choosing between Standard View, Water View, Preferred View, and everything in between, get ready to breathe a sigh of relief. Disney is streamlining its room categories for easier booking and smoother check-ins.

Disney World Makes Changes to Moderate Resort Room Type Categories in 2026

Starting with 2026 vacation packages, Moderate Resort room categories are getting a makeover. You’ll now see simpler choices like:

  • Standard Room
  • Preferred Room
  • King Bed Room

Ahh, simplicity! No more decoding room types like you’re solving a mystery on the Jungle Cruise.

This change will apply to all Disney Moderate Resorts, including:

  • Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
  • Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
  • Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter
  • Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside

Some special room types will still stick around—yes, Royal Guest Rooms at Port Orleans Riverside are still fit for a princess (or a Disney Adult living their best royal life).

At Caribbean Beach Resort, for example, room views will no longer be categorized separately as Pool View or Lake View. Instead, it’s all about location. Both Standard and Preferred Rooms may overlook a lake, pool, courtyard, or wooded area—the real difference is how close you are to those all-important resort amenities like the Fuentes del Morro pool or Centertown Market.

Disney says this change is designed to make your vacation experience more seamless from the moment you book to the moment you say, “Alexa, play ‘We’re Going to Disney World!’”

So whether you’re staying riverside, beachside, or feeling royal, the magic just got a little easier to book.

Disneyland Seeks Performers for Fantastic Four Roles

Calling all aspiring heroes! A recent casting call on the Disney Auditions website reveals Disneyland Resort is actively seeking performers who resemble Reed Richards, the brilliant Mr. Fantastic, and the fiery Johnny Storm, the Human Torch. While it seems Disney might already have someone in mind for Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman, the ever-loving Thing will likely be brought to life by a performer in a costume, possibly with the aid of an impressive Project Exo suit, similar to the one used for the Hulk’s limited-time appearances.

The call specifies that performers embodying Reed Richards and Johnny Storm are needed for a “limited time,” and successful candidates must have availability for at least three days a week. Disney previously announced that these fantastic characters will make their appearances in Tomorrowland, where they could be seen interacting with guests throughout the land or during scheduled meet-and-greet opportunities.

Disneyland Seeks Performers for Fantastic Four Roles

The character descriptions read:

  • Reed Richards (5’11”-6’1″): Reed Richards, also known as Mister Fantastic, is the leader of the Fantastic Four and considered one of the smartest men alive.
  • Johnny Storm (5’8.5″-5’10”): Fiery and hotheaded, the Human Torch burns up the sky with an unquenchable love of adventure and always has the backs of his family, the Fantastic Four.

Time is ticking for aspiring heroes! If you’re ready to step into the roles of Mr. Fantastic or the Human Torch, make sure to submit your application by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on Wednesday, April 30th. With “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” hitting theaters on July 25, 2025, it’s quite possible these iconic characters will make their grand debut at Disneyland Resort on or around that very date! Get ready to be fantastic!
