Disney inspired Bento boxes have been on trend recently, and with Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival well underway, Mike Kravanis has taken to the Disney Parks YouTube channel to bring us a Chef Figment Bento Box! Head to your local grocery store to pick up the ingredients, then follow along with Mike in the video below, as he takes you on a step-by-step tutorial on how to bring this magical creation to life in your own kitchen.

Yellow American cheese
Olives
Dry seaweed

Peppers
Cauliflower
Broccoli
Tuna (for filling)

AdvoCare Invitational Brackets Announced

Let’s shoot some hoops! ESPN Events has revealed the bracket for the 12^th annual AdvoCare Invitational which will be played Nov. 23, 24 & 26 at HP Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort.

The bracket-format tournament features 12 games over three days. Teams will compete once per day, advancing with a victory. The two teams that remain undefeated will face off in the championship game on Sunday, November 26, at 9:30 pm EST on ESPN2.

The AdvoCare Invitational features 2016 NCAA Sweet 16 participant West Virginia, as well as NIT semifinalist UCF. Other participants include Long Beach State, Marist, Missouri, Nebraska, Oregon State, and St. John’s.

Oh Disney socks, what would I ever do without you? Especially these cute Disney Princess Socks! If you haven’t seen these princess socks before you’re missing out. They are some of the most adorable ones out there.

These fun Disney Princess Socks sock set features 5 princesses, Ariel, Jasmine, Snow White, Elsa and Anna. I love that these have a scalloped ruffle top to them, to add an extra fancy touch to these royal beauties. The best part about these, is that the designs are woven, not printed. That is wonderful because, you won’t have to worry about the design fading away with regular wear, perfect! Another fun thing you can also do, is mix and match them. Disneyland’s popular Haunted Mansion attraction is the setting for a trio of entertaining animated on-air promos that find Disney characters from “DuckTales,” “Big Hero 6 The Series” and “Star vs. The Forces of Evil” on their own adventure hosted by Haunted Mansion ghosts. The promos, a collaboration between Walt Disney Imagineering, Stoopid Buddy Stoodios and Disney XD, begin rolling out on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7 (7:02 a.m. EDT).

For fans of the Haunted Mansion attraction, the promos feature:

Music and sound effects from Haunted Mansion
The Hatbox Ghost
Ezra the Hitchhiking Ghost
The tombstone tribute for Marc Davis – Disney Legend – whose designs were used as inspiration for the original Haunted Mansion attraction
The Phantom Five singing busts
The “Dear George” tombstone from the stretch room
The trowel ghost arm, inspired by Davis’ original concept art
The Tomb Sweet Tomb needlepoint picture frame
The candelabra in the endless hallway

Club Mickey Mouse, a digital-first variety show that celebrates The Mickey Mouse Club of previous generations, has hit Facebook in a big way. This diverse cast of talented young creators, and, of course, everyone’s favorite mouse made their debut this past August with an original theme song and music videos.

Viewers can follow the program via Club Mickey Mouse on Instagram and Facebook, and can expect to find a unique musical performance and a marquee music video posted each Thursday.

Recently on Etsy I discovered these beautiful Disney Inspired Suncatchers by Eclectic Glass Art. They are made with colorful and design patterned glass, and catch the light oh so marvelously.

Each one is made by hand by the designer, and she truly pours all of her love into her talent. The copper foiled lines create the iconic shapes of Mickey and Minnie, and she has added many fun character twists to them too! Sunshine Seasons Will Offer Mobile Ordering Beginning October 10th

Sunshine Seasons, an eatery located inside Epcot’s The Land Pavilion has long been a fan favorite due to its unique atmosphere, ample seating and amazing locally sourced ingredients that come from the Living With The Land greenhouses. Specialities include Spicy Fish Tacos, Mongolian Beef and Rotisserie Chicken. And now eating there just got a whole lot easier.

It has been revealed that Sunshine Seasons will be the next quick service restaurant at Walt Disney World to offer Mobile Ordering. For those unfamiliar with this new innovation, guests can order menu items online using the My Disney Experience App. Guests pre-pay for their meals using a credit or debit card and through the app can let the restaurant know when you are ready to pick up your meal. Upon arrival, guests can bypass the long lines that tend to form around mealtimes and instead head directly to a special mobile order pick-up window where your food will be waiting for you.

The service was unveiled earlier this year with the opening of Pandora: The World of Avatar. The locations currently participating in the Mobile Order scheme are as follows:

Baby Giraffe Born at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Disney’s latest bundle of joy recently arrived at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge! Beautiful baby Gemma arrived weighing just under 160 pounds and nearly 6 feet tall. Proud mom Rori is pictured nuzzling her sweet newborn.

Gemma isn’t the only adorable baby Disney Animal experts are caring for at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Another giraffe named Azizi gave birth last month to a male the keepers have named Griffon.

In the past, Disney has waited several months before introducing baby giraffes on the savanna. The animal keepers want to make sure they are old enough to follow their mothers and family, so the “little” ones are kept backstage until they are old enough to feel secure. Hopefully, we will be seeing more photos soon as well as seeing these new additions roaming the savanna at Animal Kingdom later this year.
