Allergy Friendly Treats at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Last night was the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Paty of the year. The popular extra-ticketed event encourages guests to dress up in costume, and in true Halloween fashion, trick-or-treat around the park. Disney strives to make their events a fantastic experience for everyone and they know that many guests wishing to participate in trick-or-treating, have allergies. Disney took that into consideration when planning the Halloween party, and created an allergy-friendly experience!

Guests with allergies can stop in at Heritage House and pick up an allergy-friendly trick-or-treat bag and coins to redeem allergy-friendly treats at various locations in the park.

You will be able to view an allergy-friendly menu listing all the special treats available. According to their manufacturers the treats a free of the 8 majof allergens – milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, wheat, and soy, and are also made in a facility free of those allergens. Another special event Alex and Ani Bracelet has surfaced! It’s starting to look like special event Alex and Ani bangles may be popping up more and more. In addition to the special Halloween Party bracelet that launched this week, a new bangle has launched for the Love is an Adventure Pin Trading Event at Epcot this weekend!

The event is only August 25th and 26th, so this will be a hard to get beauty for sure. The bangle comes in the gold and silver tone varieties, with an enamel charm. The enamel charm features Mickey and Minnie having fun with the quote “Love is an Adventure” flowing across.

Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween Party kicked off the first party of the season tonight! Lots of spooky treats have also been discovered this evening. A new Mickey’s Halloween Party Alex and Ani Bangle has even been found haunting the Emporium!

This new limited edition Alex and Ani features vampire Mickey in a cabochon charm dangling from the bangle. “Mickey’s Halloween Party” floats under Mickey in a spooky yellow font. It is currently only available in the silvertone option. This bracelet is available at the Emporium during Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween Party. I bet it will also make an appearance at Disneyland’s Mickey’s Halloween Party too when it debuts next month. I’m loving all of the new Alex and Ani bracelets that are starting to pop up for events now!

Creating Disney Character Coffee Art With New "Ripple Maker" Technology

Earlier this week we introduced you to the Disney-character coffee at Tea Traders Cafe by Joffrey’s located in Disney Springs. We now have more details to share on how they accomplish this amazing feat. Joffrey’s is the new home of the “Ripple Maker”, a brand-new, state of the art machine that uses proprietary technology to print edible toner (made of coffee dust) onto the top of any foamy beverage.

We were first introduced to this special technology at this year’s D23 Expo. It has now made its way to Disney Springs and Joffrey’s is the only location in Walt Disney World to have it. Amazingly the “Ripple Maker” only takes about 20 seconds to print.

A new Joffrey’s logo has been added to the printable choices since last we wrote. You can now choose from Joffrey’s logo, Disney Springs logo, Mickey Mouse, or Minnie Mouse. Additional Disney inspired images are expected to be released once Disney gives their approval.

Well this one didn’t last too long. Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi of Bachelor fame just announced the end to their five month engagement. It appears that the distance is ultimately led to the end of their relationship.

From statements released to E! News today, it appears that Viall wanted to make his home base in Los Angels while Grimaldi wanted to stay in her hometown of Montreral, Canada. It also sounds like this breakup was a long time coming.

“Nick and Vanessa have wanted to end this for a while now but was trying to figure out the right timing,” a source told E! News exclusively Friday. “They could never agree on where they wanted to live. Nick was never willing to move to Canada and that’s where Vanessa wanted to be permanently.”

Viall and Grimaldi appeared on the 21st season of the Bachelor. The show’s sister show, Bachelor in Paradise, is currenly airing on Monday and Tuesday nights on ABC.
