Disney Cruise Line will be once again be touring Europe this summer. Today we’ll be exploring the cities of Italy, one of the most popular destinations for Disney Cruise Line.
ROME
For the first time in 2018, guests aboard Disney Cruise Line can experience the inspiring history of Rome on a cruise that begins or ends in The Eternal City. This gives cruisers more time to explore the city before or after their cruise. Aside from the most iconic of Rome’s monuments like the Colosseum and the Vatican, the city holds numerous other breathtaking sights. MILAN

This bustling city is an ancient fishing village on the Italian Riviera—and your gateway to marvelous Milan, one the fashion capitals of the world. Milan features top-name designer stores, boutiques, open-air markets and art galleries for cruisers to explore.
FLORENCE
The capital of the Province of Livorno is a quintessential seaport flush with churches, forts, cafes and sumptuous seafood. This Renaissance city situated along Tuscany’s western coast is cruisers gateway to Florence and Pisa. It is here you can explore the Piazza della Signoria, Santa Croce Square and the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge.
PISA
Livorno is also a short trip to Pisa, home to one of the world’s most famous monuments, the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The splendor doesn’t stop at this historic landmark; it is only one of many works of art and architecture in the city’s Square of Miracles (Piazza dei Miracoli). Of course you’ll want to take a photograph of yourself holding up the tower!
NAPLES
Naples is one of the hottest tourist destinations in all of Europe. Visitors are transported back thousands of years when witnessing this age-old city dotted with Medieval, Baroque and Renaissance-era churches and castles. Naples is also recognized as the birthplace of pizza, so be sure to grab a slice before sampling gelato for a refreshing treat!
