Annual Passholders Receive Wristband for Garden Rocks Concert Series at Epcot

Rekindle your love of rock classics while taking in gorgeous waterfront views at the Garden Rocks Concert Series only at the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival!

This year, Annual Passholders can receive their wristbands for the show inside between Club Cool and the Character Spot. Disney is handing them out at the AP Counter where you get the AP Magnet.

They are first come, first serve. You also get to choose your own time for the show and the lines tend to get pretty long so it’s advised to get there early.

Media Event: The Foods of Disney’s Flower & Garden Festival

I was able to attend a special media event yesterday for the start of the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival. While at the media event Disney had on display some of the new food items that were available for 2018! Here is a look at some of the items featured yesterday.

Disney is constantly upping their game when it comes to the food at the various festivals throughout the year, and this year is no different!

I was able to talk with Gregg the Culinary Director for the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival. See our video below:

Disney Parks Surf Inspired Collection

If you’re looking for a bright and cheerful Disney style, you’ll be stoked for the newest Disney Parks collection for Spring. The new Disney Parks Surf Inspired Collection is a fabulous assortment of warm sunset colors, and tropical details.

You’ll find all kinds of surf and beachy inspired apparel and accessories with this assortment. Distressed tees, hibiscus flowers, wave designs, and even our favorite characters showing off their beach vibes. Take a photo tour with us of all the fun new waves and shore inspired items.

You’ll find a large assortments of shirts and even hoodies for the whole family. I love the salmon pink Surfer Girl Minnie shirt with the ruffle on the bottom! Mickey, Goofy and Donald also make appearances in this collection too.

Hats off to these groovy head accessories! There are baseball caps and bucket hats to shield you from the sun while looking beach ready.

There are a few great coordinating bags to accessorize with as well. The ombré rope bag would be a fabulous one for touring the Disney Parks or hitting the beach too!

The “STEVE” show is filming next week from the Flower & Garden Festival.

Stage construction for the filming of “STEVE”, Steve Harvey’s daytime show, is underway at Epcot.

The stage is being constructed at the entrance of World Showcase.

“STEVE” is set to film March 9-11 in front of a live audience. Those episodes will air March 19-23.

Disney’s Beach Club Villas at Disney World won the Gold Medal in timeshare rentals as it collected the top spot in RedWeek.com’s annual survey of Top 25 Timeshare Resort Rentals. This is the sixth year in a row the Resort has received this distinction.

The 2018 survey reflects the rental preferences of RedWeek’s 2.5 million subscribers who, as a group, represent the world’s largest online community of timeshare owners, users, and renters. RedWeek’s subscriber base, which grew by 200,000 over the last year, is a large part of the estimated 9.2 million US households that own one or more timeshares.

In addition to grabbing the #1 ranking, Disney’s Boardwalk Villas at Walt Disney World finished #3. Overall, Disney Vacation Club resorts earned five of the top 25 positions.

Projected Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Dates for August 2018

As we previously reported, it is looking like the first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party of 2018 is going to start even earlier this year on August 17! After looking over Magic Kingdom Park Hours for the remainder of August, I have been able to put together a list of potential dates for everyone planning a visit for this August.

The projected dates for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in August are:

Friday, August 17
Tuesday, August 21
Friday, August 24
Tuesday, August 28
Friday, August 31

In previous years, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party has started at 7 pm and ended at midnight. We expect that to also be the schedule for this year. However, it does appear the Magic Kingdom will be closing at 6 pm for non-party Guests like it did for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. In previous years, Guests with a ticket to only the Halloween Party have been allowed to enter at 4 pm. We anticipate that to be the same this year.

We expect official party dates to be announced by Disney next month and tickets to go on sale the beginning of May. This can always change though as nothing is official until Disney confirms it.
