Caramel Waffle Cone Milkshake

While new, “Sweet on You” might be one of the most popular spots aboard the Disney Fantasy. Guests with a sweet tooth aboard the Disney Fantasy can treat themselves to hand-crafted ice cream, gelato, and amazing milkshakes at the ice cream shop.

Today, there are sharing the recipe to their Caramel Waffle Cone Milkshake. PS: It smells as good as it looks!

Caramel Waffle Cone Milkshake

Milkshake Ingredients:

3 scoops Dulce de Leche ice cream
2 cups vanilla shake mix
2 spoons of chopped waffle cone

Toppings:

Whipped cream
Butterscotch sauce
Carmel popcorn
Waffle cone

Directions:

Prepare the cup with butterscotch sauce inside.
Blend ice cream, shake mix and waffle cone crumbles until smooth.
Pour milkshake into cup and top with whipped cream, butterscotch sauce, popcorn, and cone.

Construction Continues on New Experiences Coming to Tokyo Disneyland

Back in April of this year, Tokyo Disney Resort broke ground on a new large-scale project that would bring new experiences to Tokyo Disneyland. Today, Tokyo Disney is taking us behind the scenes to show us what new experiences will be coming to the Resort through 2020.

With the addition of a “Beauty and the Beast”-inspired area, a “Big Hero 6”-themed attraction in Tomorrowland and Minnie Mouse’s own design studio in Toontown, there are so many ways you can experience your favorite characters and stories. This development represents the resort’s largest investment since Tokyo DisneySea opened in 2001.

The photo above was taken this week from the monorail and shows the area being transformed in one our most ambitious projects ever at Tokyo Disney Resort. For more on what’s to come, take a look at this digital fly-through depicting the new offerings:

It sure is a busy day at the Magic Kingdom! As we previously reported, the holiday decorations at the Magic Kingdom went up on Thursday. Today, we are excited to report that the Christmas Tree in Town Square is also up!

Since all the holiday decorations are officially up, filming of the Magic Kingdom including the holiday parade has begun in advance of two holiday specials to air on your local ABC later this month and on Christmas morning.

The Magic Kingdom is also hosting the 2017 World Series Champion Houston Astros and their families to the Park today. The Astros wrapped up a thrilling World Series with their win over the Los Angeles Dodgers earlier this week.

Saks And Disney Celebrate the Holidays with a Snow White Window Display

Saks Fifth Avenue and Disney are collaborating for the first time on a holiday experience! Disney and Saks will celebrate the season with a Snow White Window Display! On Monday, Nov. 20, Saks Fifth Avenue will debut its iconic New York holiday windows and 10-story-tall theatrical light show in true fairy tale fashion, and celebration of Snow White’s 80th Anniversary!

Sofia Carson who plays Evie (the daughter of the Evil Queen) in Disney’s “Descendants”, and Hollywood Records/Republic recording artist, will perform live at the unveiling event accompanied by a 40-person choir and appearances by Snow White, Snow Prince, and the seven dwarfs.

The spectacular new show, which will be titled Once Upon a Holiday, will also include the unveiling of 14 animated holiday window displays, presented by Mastercard! This will be the first time Saks will animate all of the windows along Fifth Avenue in its 94-year history.

Highlights of the multi-faceted program include:

SAKS NEW YORK HOLIDAY WINDOWS
The 14 Fifth Avenue windows will each depict a different scene from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, beautifully translating the iconic story into real-life delights. Vignettes will include Snow White dancing among woodland creatures, the seven dwarfs “heigh-ho!”-ing home from a day’s work in the diamond caves, and the Wicked Queen’s mischievous trickery with the infamous red apple. Also new to the windows this year is a 3D layering technique which incorporates original artwork from the film into the backdrops for each display.In Saks New York’s 49th Street and 50th Street windows, four legendary designers—Alberta Ferretti, Naeem Khan, Monique Lhuillier, and Marchesa—have created one-of-a-kind fairytale gowns for a 21st century Snow White. The luxury dresses will be set against a fantasy forest backdrop.

The New York window unveiling swill be live-streamed via Saks.com for audiences around the world to enjoy. The online event, presented by Mastercard, will take place on Monday, Nov. 20 at 6:45 p.m. ET. The window animation and light show will continue throughout the holiday season until Jan. 2, 2018.
SAKS x DISNEY EXCLUSIVE MERCHANDISE
Special Disney-inspired fashion, accessories and giftable items created by premier designers are coming to Saks for the holiday season. A mirror-on-the-wall embellished alice + olivia sweatshirt, Knowlita Happy, Grumpy, and Sleepy kids’ bodysuits, and a ruby red, crystalized Judith Leiber Couture apple clutch are just a few of the items found in the collection. A limited-edition, hand-crafted Snow White collectible doll is also part of the collection and will be sold exclusively at select Saks Fifth Avenue locations and Saks.com.
DISNEY CHARACTER BREAKFAST EVENTS
Saks is offering a series of Disney-themed breakfasts at Café SFA on the 8th floor of the Saks New York flagship. Snow White, Snow Prince, and Dopey will make special guest appearances during seatings on select dates from Saturday, Nov. 25 through Sunday, Dec. 31. Tickets are available now for purchase at Saks.com/Disney.

When it comes to Pandora – The World of Avatar, the incredible Flight of Passage attraction tends to steal the show. But with a height restriction of 3’8′ it’s not suitable for some tiny travelers. So does that mean you should give Pandora a miss? Absolutely not. There is so much for kids to see, do and explore in this amazing area of Animal Kingdom. From plants that interact when you touch them, to watching the bioluminescent landscape spring to life as the sun goes down, its a magical experience for kids of all ages. And let’s not forget the Na’vi River Journey. This gentle boat ride into the heart of the bioluminescent rainforest is an absolute crowd pleaser for preschoolers.

Tomorrowland Terrace In Magic Kingdom Moves To Only Mobile Ordering This November

Staring this Summer, Walt Disney World unveiled the newest addition to the My Disney Experience App’s functionality- Mobile Ordering. Under the system, guests choosing to dine at one of the select mobile ordering locations across the four theme parks are able to do so using the app. The system allows you to choose menu items while roaming the park or waiting in those long ride queues. When you’re ready to eat, you simply let the restaurant know at the push of a button and your food will be waiting for you at the specially designated restaurant pick-up window.

Though an increasing amount of Disney Quick Service eateries are utilizing this new technology, an announcement was made earlier this week that Tomorrowland Terrace in the Magic Kingdom will be the first restaurant to go exclusively mobile ordering from November 5-11th.

Guests opting to dine at Tomorrowland Terrace can choose from a wide range of menu items including cheeseburgers, chicken strips, salads and pulled pork sandwiches, are able to customize menu options and then pre-pay for your meal. Currently, Mobile Ordering does not allow guests to use dining plan credits or cash, all payments must be made via a credit or debit card.

There’s no word yet as to whether this marks a permanent change at Tomorrowland Terrace or is merely a trial or whether or not other Quick Service locations may be following suit.

“World of Color” – The innovative and immersive nighttime spectacular presented on Paradise Bay combines water, color, fire, music and animation to bring classic Disney stories to
“Frozen – Live at the Hyperion,” a musical stage production, debuted at Disney California Adventure in 2016. Guests are immersed in the beloved world of “Frozen” with elaborate costumes and sets, stunning special effects, and show-stopping production
“Disney Junior Dance Party!” cGuests are an integral part of the show in this high-energy dance party. It features delightfully interactive entertainment, music and an opportunity for guests of all ages to participate in the festivities. Guests enjoy special surprises with some favorite Disney characters, and a DJ encourages guests to get up and move to their favorite Disney Junior songs. Inspiration for the storytelling in “Disney Junior Dance Party!” comes from four popular Disney Junior TV shows: the new “Mickey and the Roadster Racers,” along with “Doc McStuffins,” “Sofia the First” and “The Lion Guard.”

Parade routes and theatrical venues aren’t the only places where Disneyland Resort guests encounter live entertainment. There are magical encounters with live Disney and Disney•Pixar characters, and the parks are filled with many other energetic and talented performers.

At Disneyland, the Disneyland Band, the Dapper Dans quartet and the Refreshment Corner Piano Player are all on view on Main Street, U.S.A. In New Orleans Square, the toe-tapping shows star the rowdy piratical Bootstrappers, the Jambalaya Jazz Band and the mellow Royal Street Bachelors.

At the entrance to the Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland, guests may encounter the goofy Laughing Stock Company. The gifted musicians of the All American College Band appear on Main Street, U.S.A. during the summer.

At Disney California Adventure, Buena Vista Street comes alive with the Red Car Trolley News Boys and the outgoing, improvisational Citizens of Buena Vista Street. The swinging jazz combo Five & Dime travels through the park on a makeshift jalopy, Green Army Men from “Toy Story” patrol the park with “Operation: Playtime!”

Cars Land in Disney California Adventure offers in-person greetings by Lightning McQueen, tow truck Mater, fire engine Red (who waters the flowers and cleans up the streets) and “DJ’s Dance ‘n’ Drive,” a spontaneous street party designed to get everyone dancing with the vehicular music maker DJ.

The live entertainment experience at Disneyland Resort extends beyond the borders of the parks, with character meals and occasional musical entertainment at the Disneyland Resort hotels, and multiple live musical performances along the walkways of the Downtown Disney dining, shopping and entertainment district. Downtown Disney also offers live entertainment at Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen.

We all know and love the PhotoPass photographers stationed throughout the parks ready and able to take family photos in prime Disney locations. But did you know that PhotoPass also captures really great videos from popular attractions too?

In order to take advantage of this service all you have to do is wear your Magic Band. It’s as easy as that! Moments after stepping off of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train you’ll find a video in your My Disney Experience account not long after. The video will show you zooming down and around Seven Dwarfs Mine Train or dropping by the Hollywood Tower Hotel.

You’ll be able to view your attraction videos in the My Disney Experience mobile app or at MyDisneyPhotoPass.com; however, an active Memory Maker or Memory Maker One Day entitlement is required to download and share them.
