All New Deadpool 2 Trailer Gets Wet *NSFW

An all new Deadpool 2 trailer is here and it’s hidden within a spoof of the famous TV painter, Bob Ross!

After 90 seconds of “Yellow Snow” colored paint and being reminded that we get to “make and break the rules,” the clip is interrupted by technical difficulties that take us to the official trailer.

Plot details for this upcoming film have been scarce. Jack Kesy of The Strain is reported to play the new villain, but that was basically all we knew, until now!

Twentieth Century Fox accompanied the trailer teaser with an official but playful plot synopsis:

After surviving a near-fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.

Deadpool 2 is set to be released June 1, 2018.

The newest episode of Science and Star Wars takes viewers to outer space!

In this week’s video, NASA astronaut Jack Fischer welcomes viewers via videostream from the International Space Station to give a tour of the largest structure humans have ever put into space, including the U.S. laboratory where engineers are studying the latest breakthroughs in space science.

Spaceships, star fighters, space stations: you can’t have Star Wars without them. But will we ever live in space? In this episode, host Anthony Carboni explores:

Vasimir plasma engines, which could one day propel ships ten times as fast as modern chemical engines do today.
Quantum computing, or solving optimization problems in space travel, such as how satellites are using route-finding to scout the shortest path between two locations.
Treadmills in space, which are mounted on walls with harnesses to simulate gravity, allowing astronauts the resistance needed to continue to grow bones and muscles in space.

In August, Star Wars: The Last Jedi star John Boyega spilled the beans that not only did Prince William and Prince Harry film scenes when they visited Pinewood Studios in April 2016, but Tom Hardy also was milling around the set at the same time. By then, Take That singer Gary Barlow had already revealed that he had shot a scene in March.

Sources now tell The Hollywood Reporter that not only will the two royals, plus Hardy and Barlow, appear in The Last Jedi and as Stormtroopers, but they all appear together in the same scene. THR understands that the four will be seen guarding Boyega’s character, Finn, in an elevator, surely making it Star Wars‘ most secretly star-studded sequence of all time.

Disney Legend Richard M. Sherman Inducted into IAAPA Hall of Fame

Exciting news! Disney Legend Richard M. Sherman has been inducted into the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Hall of Fame.

Sherman received the honor for his many memorable contributions to Disney parks around the world. Sherman has been featured several times over the years on the Disney Parks Blog. Some of his accomplishments are included in an IAAPA write-up:

“Richard M. Sherman’s contributions to the industry span more than 50 years, and he has written and composed countless beloved songs for Disney theme parks, resorts, and attractions around the world. His work represents the industry’s most iconic and memorable achievements, combining the physical ride experience with music that elevates the impact and emotional connection of an attraction — for children and adults alike. Along with his brother Robert, he wrote the timeless lyrics for “It’s a Small World,” celebrating global peace and our shared humanity. In addition, he wrote other classic songs such as “The Tiki Tiki Tiki Room,” “A Spoonful of Sugar,” and “The Winnie the Pooh Song,” to name a few. Throughout his career, Sherman has served as an influential mentor to many designers and creators at schools, universities, and workshops. His legendary work and talent for telling stories through lyrics and melodies has connected the globe, inspiring millions through the gift of music.”

Richard joins a distinguished list of individuals from around the industry and joins fellow Disney-affiliated honorees Walt Disney, Roy O. Disney, plus fellow Disney Legends Marty Sklar, Jack Lindquist, Dick Nunis, Wally Boag and Betty Taylor.

When was your first visit to Walt Disney World? As a Travel Agent specializing Disney Destinations, first visits always hold a special place in my heart. There is nothing like the magic of looking down Main Street USA and seeing Cinderella Castle for the first time.

And Becky G is no exception! The singer and actress, rose gold ears and all, visited Walt Disney World for the first time and the experience did not disappoint. “Magical. That’s the word,” she said.

The California native is no stranger to the Disneyland Resort, where she spends plenty of time with her family and friends. But her busy schedule – performing concerts and filming movies – has kept her from having a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Until now!

Becky explained that feeling that most of us have experienced: “Visiting Walt Disney World for the first time made me feel like that little girl again. I left beyond inspired. So many different worlds that took me somewhere. Places that felt new, like Pandora – The World of Avatar or places that felt so familiar, like visiting Peter Pan & Dumbo in Fantasyland …”

To celebrate this special moment, Becky G posed with the Big Cheese himself in front of Cinderella Castle. An experience that she surely will remember forever!

Disney Parks Recognized for Global Excellence

Disney continues to rack up the accolades this week! Yesterday, we reported that Disney Cruise Line was recognized by U.S. News & World Report as being the top cruise line for families and for Caribbean cruises. Today, we are excited to announce that several new experiences at Disney Parks were just honored by the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA). The TEA is the association that represents the themed entertainment industry.

“Our teams continue to raise the bar offering new experiences and adventures leaving guests wondering, ‘how did Disney do that?’” said Bob Chapek, Chairman, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. “We do all of this for our guests, and we’re thrilled with what they’re telling us about our new lands and attractions. These awards are one more well-deserved recognition for our cast and Imagineers.”

After six months of operation, Pandora – The World of Avatar received not one, but two, Thea Awards for Outstanding Achievement. The 12-acre land was recognized for excellence as a “Theme Park Area Development,” while Avatar Flight of Passage received its own award as an outstanding attraction – it’s no wonder that it has quickly become the highest rated guest experience at Walt Disney World Resort.

In the category of “Attraction Reimagining,” Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! at Disney California Adventure was honored. This attraction was also an instant hit amongst our guests – and is now the top-rated attraction at Disneyland Resort.

The experience is the first ride-through attraction at Disney Parks that’s inspired by the film Frozen and takes guests on a magical journey through the kingdom of Arendelle.

Disney announced today that their Freeform channel’s forthcoming unscripted series, “Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings,” and their hour-long holiday special, “Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings: Holiday Magic” will be both hosted by “The Ellen Show”’s Stephen “tWitch” Boss and “Dancing with the Stars” pro Allison Holker. From executive producers Ann Lewis Roberts, Simon Lythgoe and Jenny Daly, in partnership with Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings, the winter special will premiere on December 11 at 8:00 p.m. EST. The series will launch summer 2018.

In the festive special edition hosted by “So You Think You Can Dance” all-star couple tWitch and Allison, the audience will go behind the scenes of some of the most spectacular weddings and engagements at Disney destinations around the globe during the holiday season. Good news Disneyland foodies! Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer has just announced that they will be opening their very first California location in Downtown Disney. In 2018 Disneyland Resort visitors can sample their award-winning burgers and signature CrazyShake™ milkshakes.

The Downtown Disney location will be a completely customized concept which will feature both indoor and outdoor seating. The theming will give guests a distinctively New York vibe but in a casual atmosphere reminiscent of a classic American luncheonette. Construction will begin soon and Black Tap will be located across from Catal Restaurant and Uva Bar.
