As a special treat for all you Marvel lovers, to mark the opening of “Black Panther” which will debut in cinemas beginning on February 16, Disney California Adventure Park will provide visitors with the opportunity to encounter the king of Wakanda himself, Black Panther with a new meet and greet opportunity.

We here at Chip and Co are pretty excited about the latest movie in the Marvel franchise. The film follows T’Challa who after the death of his father, the King, returns home to the isolated but tech-savvy African nation to take his rightful place on the throne. It isn’t long before a powerful adversary appears to challenge “Black Panther” in a conflict that has the ability to threaten all of mankind. The young king must rally his allies and embody fully the role of Black Panther to defeat his enemies and secure the safety of his kingdom.

As of going to print, Disneyland has not released further details regarding a meet and greet location or an official start date. Readers are encouraged to keep following along with Chip and Co. for the latest Marvel news and updates.

Another week, another episode of Science and Star Wars! In this week’s video, Daniel Logan, the actor who plays Boba Fett joins the show to test the bounty hunter’s armor against stabbing knives, a 2-watt blue laser diode and an arm-mounted flamethrower.

As the Star Wars universe’s most famous bounty hunter, Boba Fett has an armored chest plate, a back-mounted jet pack, wrist gauntlets housing a fiber cord whip, and a mounted blaster and a mini-flamethrower. Watch what happens when the actor who played young Boba Fett in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones tests a recreation of Boba Fett’s armor, a 5.5 Kevlar vest — whose tensile strength makes it 5x stronger than steel — against Star Wars-level weaponry.

The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays is already in full swing at the Disney World and Disney-lovers are already buzzing about the amazing treats you’ll find at the 15 Holiday Kitchens.

One such treat that seems to be getting lots of accolades is the giant Chocolate Peppermint Glazed Croissant Donut that is currently being served up at Refreshment Port. We think you’ll be mighty impressed with the size of this seasonal goodie. Just check out this Instagram post.

You’ll be able to ”Seize your moment” and bring Walt Disney World to life with this special limited edition MagicBand 2 inspired by PIXAR’s Coco. The band features Miguel on one side, and Dante on the other, surrounded by brightly colored marigolds, calaveras, and music notes.

New Video Shows Lego Master Builders Creating Star Wars Magic at Disney Springs

As we announced last month, the Lego Store at Disney Springs celebrated it’s 20th Anniversary by playing host to a couple of Lego’s Legendary Master Builders earlier this month. During an exclusive in-store event running from November 3rd – 5th, guests were invited to choose a side in the Sith Lord vs. Jedi Master showdown by helping Master Builders construct a 10-foot tall Darth Vader or an 8-foot tall Yoda.

The Master Builders on-hand during this event were father and son team, Dan and Chris. Be prepared to be blown away by their handiwork in this incredible time-lapse video released by Disney which shows them assembling (with the help of lucky audience members) these awe-inspiring creations during their 3-day build:

For those visiting Walt Disney World over the next couple of weeks, be sure to stop by Lego Store at Disney Springs to check out these magical creations which will be on display for a limited time.
