Ray’s passion extends beyond service; he’s also the creative mind behind one of California Grill’s most beloved cocktails, the Monterey – affectionately known as the “Ray Ray” by his regulars. This signature drink, featuring the refreshing flavors of vanilla and pineapple with house-made lemonade, will make a welcome return to the restaurant’s limited-time anniversary menu. “We’re surrounded by the freshest ingredients,” Ray explains, highlighting the restaurant’s long-standing commitment to excellence through locally and domestically sourced seasonal ingredients.

For Dale, another opening-day server, his dedication is deeply intertwined with the purpose he finds in his role. “We’re a part of the Disney culture, and the world-class service we provide is something you don’t receive anywhere else,” he proudly states.

Over the decades, the California Grill team has had the privilege of welcoming families who first visited with toddlers and now return with their grandchildren in tow.

Walter, another familiar face from opening day, echoes this sentiment. “Something special about Disney is that people come back and vacation year after year, and I’ve gotten to see families grow up in front of my eyes,” he shares. “I’ve seen kids when they were seven or eight years old, and now they’re 35, visiting with children of their own! I think that’s the real kicker; this place has been here 30 years, and it’s given us an opportunity to build strong, amazing relationships with a lot of families.”

Something’s brewing in the World Showcase at EPCOT! Guests strolling between the vibrant Mexico Pavilion and the charming Norway Pavilion are now met with an unexpected sight: construction walls. These temporary barriers have sprung up along the pathway that connects the two lands, sparking curiosity and a bit of speculation among Disney fans.

The walls begin their stretch right next to the popular Donald Duck meet-and-greet location. Adding to the intrigue, green scrim effectively blocks any clear view of the area where the walls meet the existing stone structure. This makes it nearly impossible for passersby to get a peek at what might be happening behind the scenes.

The construction zone curves around the planters and the small seating area that usually offers a place for guests to rest and soak in the World Showcase ambiance. Interestingly, the familiar tall speaker posts remain visible behind the walls, indicating that the sound system for the area is still in place. The walls eventually conclude with more green scrim near the entrance to Anna and Elsa’s Royal Sommerhus in the Norway Pavilion.

The launch of Epic Universe marks a significant expansion for the resort, promising to redefine the theme park landscape in Orlando.

Cinesational: A Symphonic Spectacular – Select Dates April 14–August 24

Da-dum. DA-DUM. DA-DUM. Those suspenseful notes can only mean one thing… it’s time for Cinesational: A Symphonic Spectacular! This nighttime show will cap off your day in Universal Studios Florida on a perfect note — literally. Embark on a journey through your favorite movie moments as the soundtracks of “Harry Potter,” “Jurassic World,” “Jaws,” and more sync with dancing fountains and pyrotechnics.

Hogwarts Always – Select Dates April 14–August 24

The Hogwarts Always nighttime projection show is the perfect way to end a summer day in Universal’s Islands of Adventure. The show takes you on a magical journey through a school year at Hogwarts. Jurassic World: Rebirth – In theaters July 2, 2025

It’s not every summer that a new “Jurassic World” movie comes out! To celebrate, Universal has loads of special offerings for you to sink your teeth into. In Jurassic Park in Islands of Adventure, you’ll find themed photo ops as well as exclusive food and beverage items at The Burger Digs. Starting May 23, you can also pick up some exclusive “Jurassic World: Rebirth” merchandise in Jurassic Outfitters and Dinostore.

Near Doc Sugrue’s Desert Kebab House, you’ll find a themed shopping experience in celebration of the upcoming live-action adaptation of “How to Train Your Dragon.” If you’ve ever wanted a miniature version of Toothless to carry around on your shoulder, good news: It’s time for your (and my) dream to come true!

Wicked

Rejoicify! We’re only a few months away from the release of “Wicked: For Good” — why not pass the time in Wicked: The Experience in Universal Studios Florida? This magically immersive experience features enchanting film costume replicas, Elphaba and Glinda-themed photo ops, bewitching merch, and — from June 23–August 10 — the thrillifying opportunity to take a photo with Elphaba and Glinda.

M3GAN 2.0 – In theaters June 27, 2025

You’ve seen her kill it on the big screen, and from June 10–30, you might just see her in Universal Studios Florida. I’m not at liberty to share any more details. No, she isn’t standing over my shoulder while I type this.

Jaws (50th Anniversary)

For the last half-century, “Jaws” has made children all over the world think twice before going in the pool. Or maybe that was just my experience. In Universal Studios Florida, you can celebrate 50 years of “swimmin’ with bow-legged women” in the San Francisco area of the theme park, which will be transformed to feel like the Amity of old. Snag limited-time food and beverage offerings along with a ton of exclusive merchandise, including the bucket hat and popcorn bucket that I am absolutely obsessed with.

Back to the Future (40th Anniversary)

Time flies when you’re in a flying time machine! And believe it or not, it’s already been 40 years since “Back to the Future” premiered. We’re marking the occasion with tons of exclusive merchandise, including apparel, a snazzy license plate, and even a (non-flying) hoverboard (pouch). Biff, eat your heart out!

15 Years of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Walt Disney World Releases Full 2025 Pricing and Dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Walt Disney World has officially unveiled the complete date-specific ticket pricing for the highly anticipated 2025 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the popular after-hours event held annually at Magic Kingdom. Guests planning to attend this fall will find that ticket prices vary significantly based on the specific date of the party, with prices ranging from $119 to $229 per ticket, plus applicable tax.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Ticket Prices Jump in

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place on select nights within Magic Kingdom after the park closes to day guests. It requires a separately purchased event ticket for admission. Party ticket holders are granted entry into Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 pm on the night of the event, with the party officially running from 7:00 pm to midnight. The event features exclusive entertainment, opportunities for trick-or-treating throughout the park, appearances by characters in their Halloween costumes, specialty themed food and beverage items, unique attraction overlays, and the beloved Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show.

The 2025 season of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is scheduled for a total of 38 nights, matching the number of party dates held in 2024. The start date for the 2025 event is August 15th. This marks a slightly later kickoff compared to the 2024 season, which had the earliest start date in the event’s history.

Tickets range from $119 to $229 plus tax, with pricing generally increasing as the event gets closer to Halloween. A $10 per ticket discount is available for eligible Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members for party nights held in August and September.

Experience the NEW “Celebrate Happy” Cavalcade at Disneyland!

The happiness has arrived! Disneyland yesterday treated guests to the very first performance of the lively new “Celebrate Happy” Cavalcade, a key part of the upcoming Disneyland Resort 70th Anniversary festivities.

Get ready to groove! Starting tomorrow, Friday, May 16th, Disneyland will host the “Celebrate Happy” Cavalcade twice each day. Your favorite Disney pals will be out in full force, celebrating to the infectious beat of the Jonas Brothers’ “Celebrate Happy,” the official 70th-anniversary anthem. Adding an extra touch of charm, the cavalcade kicks off with the delightful duo, Duffy and ShellieMay!

Adding to the excitement, Goofy and Max join the “Celebrate Happy” Cavalcade right after Duffy and ShellieMay, and this dynamic duo is also showcasing brand-new costumes created just for the Disneyland Resort 70th Anniversary festivities.

Next up comes a float featuring various Disney Princesses, such as Merida, Pocahontas, Belle, Aurora and Jasmine.

Leading up to the grand finale float are Chip and Dale, paving the way for Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Pluto to make their celebratory appearance. All six of these characters are wearing their new 70th anniversary attire.
