More Information About the Rumored Additional FastPasses for Club Level Guests at Disney World

Disney World Club Level FastPasses

Additional information is coming out about a rumor we shared yesterday that Guests staying Club Level at Walt Disney World Resorts may be able to purchase 3 additional FastPasses per person per day.

While Disney has yet to confirm any of this rumor, here is the information we’ve gathered so far.

Starting Friday, January 12th, guests who are staying Club Level at select Walt Disney World Resorts will have the opportunity to purchase an additional benefits in addition to their theme park admission.

Guests with a park ticket of 3-days or longer, or are Annual Passholders, will be able to purchase 3 additional FastPasses per guest per day and will be given preferred viewing for nighttime spectaculars.

The additional FastPasses and nighttime benefits will be available for $50 per guest, per day for all guests on the room reservation.

These FastPasses can be used at any of the Walt Disney World theme parks, and, as long as the park tickets include the Park Hopper option, they can be selected at multiple parks on the same day.

Guests utilizing this program will be able to select their FastPasses 90 days prior to check-in, instead of the standard 60 days currently in place for all resort guests.

Multiple Tier 1 attractions may be booked, but you can only select each FastPass once per day.  In general, it appears that the attractions and entertainment available, the number of selections you can make and the arrival windows will be limited.

Preferred viewing for the nighttime entertainment will be limited to one per day and advanced reservations are required. Nighttime spectaculars include Magic Kingdom’s Happily Ever After, Epcot’s Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, Disney’s Hollywood Studios’s Fantasmic! and Animal Kingdom’s Rivers of Light.  Availability will be limited.

These extras are available to Guests with reservations for the following resorts and room types:

Disney Springs Offers Delicious and Nutritious Meals for Everyone!

Morimoto

STK

Was one of your New Years’ Resolutions to adopt a healthier lifestyle? If you are looking to eat healthier like me, then you must check out these nutritious and delicious meal options available at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World. Yes, you can eat healthy at Disney!

Frontera Cocina

Taqueria Salad (Frontera Cocina): With petite baby gem lettuces, carrots, radishes, avocado, cotija cheese and tortilla strips, this salad dressed with avocado-lime vinaigrette is a tasty choice when you are craving greens. You can even add shrimp (always cooked just right), but it’s delicious with grilled chicken, too!

Morimoto

Spicy Tuna Roll (Morimoto Asia): Fresh tuna, spicy mayo, and scallions work together to make every bite pure perfection. If you want to up the “good for you” factor, you can request brown rice in place of white at no extra cost. Tuna’s not your thing? Spicy salmon, spicy yellowtail, eel & avocado, California or vegetable rolls are also on the menu.

Paddlefish

Fresh Fish of the Day (Paddlefish): I love seafood! Always have and definitely always will. There is nothing better than some fresh fish served up right. If you are looking for a nice and healthy seafood dish on your next visit to Disney Springs, you are in good hands with the culinary team at Paddlefish and their latest catch of the day.

STK

Filet Medallion (STK): Did you know that filet mignon is one of the healthiest cuts of beef? Well, it is, and I couldn’t be happier about it. The 6-ounce portion at STK Orlando is just the right size for steak lovers who still want to show off their skinny jeans. To really stick to your resolutions, skip the mashed potatoes (pictured) and add an order of asparagus or a side of cucumbers & heirloom tomatoes instead.

Blaze Pizza

Red Vine Pizza (Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza): Pizza doesn’t usually show up on the “healthy” list, but hear me out … with classic dough, red sauce, grated parmesan, ovalini mozzarella, fresh basil, cherry tomatoes and an olive oil drizzle, the Red Vine Pizza from Blaze is a solid choice. Not that I’m saying you should, but you could have an entire pizza for 660 calories. Split it with a friend, and you’ll agree that it’s a smart choice, indeed!

While I’m certainly not a nutritional expert, these five favorites above at Disney Springs will leave you feeling satisfied, but not stuffed. If you’re trying to improve your overall health and well-being, too, be sure to make choices that feel right to you! I can promise you this … if you look hard enough, there are lots of options that can help keep you on track.

Do you have a favorite mindful menu item from Disney Springs? If so, share it in the comments below!

‘The Bachelor Winter Games’ to Premiere Next Month

Bachelor Winter Games

Bachelor Winter Games

Are you a “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” fan like me? Is love the universal language? Find out as 14 international bachelors and bachelorettes from such countries as Switzerland, Japan, and Australia compete and, hopefully, find love with 12 of America’s Bachelor Nation favorites. These singles will go head-to-head in winter-themed challenges, including the toughest sport of all – love.

Chris Harrison hosts this highly anticipated, four-episode series, complete with the usual dose of tears, drama, romance, and laughter, as “The Bachelor Winter Games,” a global celebration of unity and love.

For close to two decades, “The Bachelor,” a pop culture phenomenon, has spawned international versions of the series. For the first time since its inception, 26 of the most eligible singles from around the world gather at the luxurious Vermont winter resort of The Hermitage Club.

In the series premiere, the participants meet in the streets of Vermont for a grand celebration. Bachelor royalty Trista and Ryan Sutter serve as grand marshals kicking off the festivities. With the backdrop of snowy winter white mountains, ESPN SportsCenter anchor and sports journalist Hannah Storm, and KABC-TV sports anchor and correspondent Ashley Brewer join host Chris Harrison for the action. Following a featured performance by up-and-coming country music sensation Ruthie Collins, the singles move into their Bachelor villa and the games of love begin.

Throughout the run of “The Bachelor Winter Games,” fans can expect twists and turns on and off the ski mountain, as well as romance, heartbreak, love and, of course, roses. The bachelors and bachelorettes will participate in challenges from winter biathlon to ice dancing, with date cards being given to the winners of each challenge.  Romantic dates will test the bachelors’ and bachelorettes’ perseverance in pursuing relationships with one another while faced with language barriers and cultural differences, including some amusing issues with intimacy. With guest appearances by world champion and five-time U.S. figure skating pairs champions Tai Babilonia and Randy Gardner, as well as figure skating legend Nancy Kerrigan, “The Bachelor Winter Games” promises no shortage of excitement. Viewers will watch Bachelor Nation expand into Bachelor World as love expands over oceans and across continents.

Disney Cruise Ship Receives a Perfect Score After Inspection!

Rest assured that you are in good hands with Disney Cruise Lines! The Disney Magic received a perfect score when it was inspected on October 21st, 2017. This was no easy feat as only six ships across the board received perfect score status.

All passenger ships must undergo the inspection process that call at any U.S. ports.

In order to pass inspections, ships must score an 86 or higher on a 100-point scale. A perfect score is 100. Great job Disney!

On each ship, the galley, dining rooms, swimming pools, hot tubs, kids’ clubs, and cabins are all inspected.

Two ships, not owned by Disney Cruise Lines, did not pass inspections. They were the Carnival Triumph, which scored a 78, and the Ponant’s Le Boreal, which scored an 84.

Every ship must correct any violations and submit a statement to the CDC describing the corrections made.

Earlier in the year, two other Disney ships earned a perfect score, the Disney Dream and Wonder.

Will Stitch’s Great Escape Close for Good?

Stitch's Great Escape

Stitch’s Great Escape at Magic Kingdom supposedly closed its doors for good on January 6th. But is that true? Disney never issued an official statement about a closure, which led us all to wonder whether it really was the end for Stitch.

On Tuesday, a Disney spokesperson told Spectrum News 13 that Stitch is still seasonal and that it would reopen. The spokesperson would not provide a specific date.

For the past few years, as we have reported numerous times, the attraction has operated seasonally and even serves as a character meet and greet location. As for now, that looks like it may stay the same.

Who knows the fate of Stitch’s Great Escape, but for now, Stitch is still a seasonal attraction.

Are you happy to see Stitch stay or are you ready to see it go?

Club level guest may purchase 3 additional fastpasses rumor

Those 3 additional FastPasses are rumored to cost $50 per guest per day and will have a 3-day minimum. Sources say that the additional FastPasses can be used at any of the Walt Disney World theme parks.

At this time, Disney has not released a statement confirming, or denying, this rumor.  As soon as we hear anything else, we will share it immediately.

‘Little Flyers’ Receive Free Airline Wing Pins at Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante at Disney Springs

The newly opened Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante at Disney Springs has been created to be a once-abandoned Disney Springs airline terminal from the 1930s, now transformed into a restaurant. The theming is so wonderful that they are even bringing the children into the story. “Little Flyers” can stop by the check-in desk in the restaurant lobby and pick up their very own set of wings!

They are also given out when families are randomly selected to enjoy the First Class Lounge located upstairs from the main dining room. Perks of First Class include a complimentary glass of Prosecco for the grown-ups and the airline pins for the kiddos.

Special thanks to On the Go in MCO for the great photo!
