Sometimes I wish I was a kid again, okay maybe more than sometimes. The new Rainbow Disney Spirit Jerseys available at Walt Disney World and Disneyland are so magically delightful! These are only available in kid sizes, but I really hope they make them for adults too!
These fun Spirit Jerseys are tie dyed with a swirl of cotton candy colors, and feature “Walt Disney World” or “Disneyland” in puffed rainbow glitter, with a matching Disney Castle on the front. Incredibles 2 made it’s big debut in theaters and this week but there is still more for fans to enjoy. Disney Games will also feature Incredibles inspired content including: a LEGO The Incredibles console game, Disney Emoji Blitz, and Disney Heroes: Battle Mode mobile titles, and more!
Disney Heroes: Battle Mode (June 13 – 25)
During The Incredibles Super-Charged Event, players can boost heroes from The Incredibles with extra power when they activate the daily bonus. Each day, there will be a new Hero Chip or bonus rewards deal for purchase. Earn points by using The Incredibles heroes in both City Watch and Creep Surge to get some super rewards in The Incredibles Contest. Disney Heroes: Battle Mode is available on the App Store, Google Play and the Amazon App Store.
Disney Emoji Blitz (June 15 – June 19)
A fan favorite from the Disney Games collection, is Emoji Blitz which will also receive an incredible update. Players can enjoy an Incredibles 2 Survival Event where Blitzers can play fast-paced rounds of match-3, utilizing emoji super powers and combos to win a Diamond Box. For completing the event, fans of the Parr family will be able to collect one of three Incredibles 2-inspired characters – Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl or Jack-Jack. Once the Super has been collected, players will be able to keep the emoji indefinitely and it will show up on the Emoji Blitz keyboard in smartphone messaging apps. Disney Emoji Blitz is available for free on the Apple App Store, Google Play and Amazon App Store.
LEGO The Incredibles: (June 15)
Play as your favorite Incredibles characters including Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Violet, Dash and Frozone, as you venture through awe-inspiring action sequences from The Incredibles and Incredibles 2. Utilizing the Parr family’s range of extraordinary abilities, and some teamwork to create new and unique powers, players can help the Supers tackle crime in a LEGO world. LEGO The Incredibles will be available on June 15 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Disney Magic Kingdoms (Now – June 20)
Now’s your chance to collect Jack-Jack! Of course an “incredible” update to Disney Games must include Magic Kingdoms so prepare for battle! Send up to five characters at a time to challenge Maleficent’s Tower. Once the challenge is finished, characters will return with Event Points and Maleficent Coins. The Event Points will help defeat Maleficent’s Tower allowing players to claim the tiniest, power-packed member of the The Incredibles family. Disney Magic Kingdoms is available for download on the App Store, Google Play and the Windows Store.
Disney Stickers: The Incredibles (June 13)

Toy Story Land opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in just a couple weeks! To celebrate the excitement Disney Parks Blog has opened up the toy chest, to give us a few more sneak peeks at some of the amazing Toy Story Land Merchandise that we’ll be able to find. We’re so excited about all of the fun gifts and collectibles coming soon!
“Merchandise that is true to the story ties everything together” is how Brad Schoeneberg, director, Merchandise Strategy and New Park Experiences Development explains these new items. “Each piece was designed so parents and kids could take their memories home and relive the fun of Toy Story Land long after their Disney vacation.”
Images of our favorite toy pals, and the logo adorn bright primary colored apparel and accessories for family members of all ages.
We’ll be able to immerse ourselves fully in the magic of the new land with items like the wearable Slinky Dog, Slinky Dog Headband, and Green Alien band.
The smaller guests will love this adorable crossbody backpack featuring whimsical toy elements. Passholders will have their own special treats with an exclusive pin and tote bag.

Toy Story Land opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios June 30th!
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter has been a popular resort choice for guests for years. The resort property has two different areas, with the other being Port Orleans Resort – Riverside. Both share wonderful amenities and themes. At French Quarter, you can find the Scat Cat’s Club, a southern style jazz lounge. With it’s large selection of beverages, delicious new appetizers and a decor perfect for any music lover, the Scat Cat’s Club is a must on your next visit.
Who doesn’t love Chicken and Waffles? The Scat Cat’s Club has turned them into a perfect appetizer. Candied bacon and buttermilk ranch sit atop crispy, tender Cajun chicken bites and waffle crisps. With the right amount of sweet and spicy, this amazing new appetizer pairs perfectly with a cold draft beer.
Straight from the bayou is the Crawfish Étouffée. Crawfish tails, shellfish stew and steamed rice with incredible Cajun flavors are sure to be a crowd favorite. The Blood Orange Margarita is a great combination with it’s premium tequila, blood orange sour, Cointreau and fresh lime juice.
Another new seafood appetizer at the Scat Cat’s Club is the Sassagoula Crab Dip, served with bagel chips and cornichons.
If you are looking for something more filling, try the Bayou Brisket Sliders. These are packed with smoked brisket, tomato jam and pimento cheese. Cajun-seasoned, house-made chips are a great addition. You can also order a Southern Hurricane for a great pairing! It is made with dark rum, Puerto Rican rum and tropical juices. There’s also a float of bourbon.
Lastly, we have another classic with a twist. The Mardi Gras Mac and Cheese comes prepared with Gulf shrimp, andouille sausage, cheddar cheese sauce and has cornbread crumbles on top. You can try this cheesy dish with a Ramos Fizz (gin, fresh lemon and lime juices, half and half, orange flower water, agave nectar, and soda water).
The new appetizer menu at Scat Cat’s Club looks absolutely delicious! Be sure to check it out on your next visit to Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter. The summer months have arrived and if you’re looking for a fun way to fill your summer calendar, check out the Footgolf League coming to Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course.
Are you unfamiliar with Footgolf? It’s pretty simple. Golf + Soccer = Footgolf. So head over to the course and try your best at kicking a soccer ball across a golf green and into large cups.
The Footgolf League begins June 28th and lasts for 8 rounds, which runs into the beginning of September. Games nights will be held on June 28, July 12, July 19, August 2, August 9, August 23, August 30, and September 6.

The Incredibles are back! It’s been 14 years since we’ve seen the Incredibles in action, but the plot picks up right where we left them. The Underminer is still on the verge of causing total city destruction, and in the aftermath of their epic battle, the family is left to pick up the pieces.
During the battle, Frozone vanishes, only to be approached by Winston Deavor (Bob Odenkirk), a tech mogul who wants to help bring the supers back from the shadows. Winston and his sister Evelyn (Catherine Keener) want to get superheroes back on the right side of the law and public perception, masterminds a campaign that involves having the heroes wear body cameras so people can see what they are doing firsthand.
When given a chance to change the law and save the fate of all supers, they met a new threat that risks to destroy their reputation forever.
Elastagirl is chosen as the face of the campaign, sidelining both Frozone and Mr. Incredible. This creates a role reversal that is the heart of the entire feature, giving us the chance to really see Helen in action.
All the while, Bob will have to find his own place in all the insanity, trying his best to be supportive and put his own needs aside for the love of his family.
Throughout the entire film, the character building has super strength with each character’s super power echos their personality and growth within the family unit. For instance, Elastigirl, the over-extended mother, is extraordinarily flexible, able to multitask with ease. Violet (Sarah Vowell) is a shy teen whose power is the ability to disappear and build force fields. Let’s also not forget about Dash (Huck Milner) who thinks he can help in any way he can. And of course Baby Jack Jack with his newfound superpowers, which Bob is trying to cope with. It’s a clever way to mix the genres, family drama and superhero action.
The emphasis on family is still there, woven into the script. The Parrs may be “supers” but they are a family with all the problems that go along with that.
“Incredibles 2” is a fantastic looking movie. Advances in CGI since the first film allow for bigger and wilder, more cinematic action scenes and director Brad Bird mixes-and-matches a variety of influences from silent movies on up to modern day blockbusters to engage us all. There’s plenty of action of the sort we’re used to in recent live action superhero films. We’re used to it now and Bird stages in some inventive work to make it less of an overload.
As a sequel “Incredibles 2” feels as fresh as it did the first time around and should please fans with the superpower of patience that they have waited fourteen years for the continuation of the story. “Incredibles 2” is a welcome return.
“Incredibles 2” is rated PG for action sequences and some brief mild language; running time: 1 hour 58 mins.
As predicted, The Incredibles 2 is already breaking records at the box office. Last night, thousands of dedicated Pixar fans flocked to the theaters to be among the first checking out the new hit. When Finding Dory premiered in 2016, the preview night brought in $9.2 million. The Incredibles 2 has more than doubled that amount, coming in at $18.5 million. That was just night one!
14 years after the original, the Incredibles 2 is expected to bring in between $125 million and $140 million in ticket sales. This will also compete with Finding Dory, which came in at $135 million for it’s opening weekend. The live action version of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast had a $116 million opening weekend for it’s debut last year.

Our favorite Super Family is returning to the big screen after 14 long years! Disney•Pixar’s “Incredibles 2” is making its big debut this weekend and the writers here at Chip and Company thought it would be fun to mark the occasion with something fun.
Disney released a video with step-by-step instructions on how to draw Jack-Jack from Show Artist Stephen Ketchum from Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. Some of us got together and gave it our best shot and we need your help in voting for the best one. Disclaimer….none of us are professional artists so please be kind. The pure fact that you can recognize our blobs as Jack-Jack in any of the below drawings is a credit to the tutorial (which we link to below).

We are in the final countdown until Pixar Pier at the Disneyland Resort officially opens. Just less than eight days to go! While the excitement continues to build around the new Pixar-themed area, we are getting our first look at some of the new billboards that are being installed at Disney California Adventure for Pixar Pier and they are adorable!
After entering Pixar Pier, just past Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats, four large billboards will greet guests as they make their way through the new reimagined land. Each billboard depicts a popular Pixar story moment – each set in the seaside surroundings of Pixar Pier.
Keep in mind these are just two of the four billboard guests will see upon entering Pixar Pier. I can’t want to see what the other two look like! Guess we will have to wait until Saturday, June 23 to find out!

In just two weeks, all Walt Disney World guests at Hollywood Studios will be able to take a ride on Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers! That’s right, Toy Story Land will finally open on June 30! To make the two week wait a little less painful, I’m happy to share some of what the Cast Member Costumes for Toy Story Land will look like!
They’re adorable and will fit in well with the bright colors and themes of Toy Story Land.
When Toy Story Land opens, guests will shake down to the size of Andy’s toys and will be able to play in Andy’s backyard. In addition to the two new attractions, Toy Story Midway Mania will reopen with a newly designed queue that will be accessible right from the new land. Guests looking for some great new food options are invited to have a bite in Andy’s Lunch Box.

It’s been recently announced that the Cast Members at Walt Disney World are now able to sign up for their chance to attend a Toy Story Land Dress Rehearsal starting June 21-27. Those lucky ones chosen will be able to take in the sights and sounds of the new land plus get the chance to experience the 2 new amazing rides, Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers before the land opens to the general public on June 30th.
Cast Members must go through dress rehearsals as it’s a very important part of the pre-opening process. The new land’s team must practice before the scheduled opening.
Participating Cast Members should keep in mind the following:
Limited food and beverage and merchandise may be available for purchase during the rehearsal.
Slinky Dog Dash is a thrill ride with small drops and a height requirement of 38”.
Alien Swirling Saucers features spinning vehicles and has a height requirement of 32” or taller.
Some experiences are dependent on weather and there may be unexpected attraction downtimes.
Each actively employed Florida-based Cast Member, Imagineer, or Employee that is eighteen (18) years or older will be able to enter the drawing by completing a valid entry form via DisneyMagicBackstage.com.

Fun news for Annual Passholders! We have heard news from WDWMagic that Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can now enjoy special reserved seating for the newly debuted “Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live!” show at Epcot.
Annual Passholders will need to visit the American Adventure Pavilion prior to the show to pick up their wristband for the showtime of their choice. Of course, an Annual Passholder and a photo ID is required when the wristbands are obtained.
