While everywhere is a buzz with the Rock the Dots event going on this week, The Dress Shop in Disney Springs decided to sneak in a few pretties too. There are new Magic Kingdom and Orange Bird Dresses available, and oh how gorgeous they are! The Magic Kingdom dress is a new dress, and the Orange Bird dress is a recolor of the original.
The Magic Kingdom dress is a sassy and swishy halter dress, with a gorgeous sky blue color. Whimsy and magic surround the bottom of this dress, as a colorful horizon of Magic Kingdom comes to life. A pixie dust print fills the sky over the infamous and beloved Magic Kingdom attractions and icons. This dress has a stretchy back, and teal halter straps.
You can show off your love for Walt Disney World’s lesser-known history with the allover Orange Bird print dress, featuring a new color motif. This dress is the same style as the original white and orange dress, But with a new navy background! The orange straps and waist band have been replaced with the beautiful blue, which gives it a bit of a more mature look.
Both of these beautiful new dresses are available now at the Dress Shop in Disney Springs! Would you wear the new Magic Kingdom and Orange Bird Dresses for a day at the parks?

And, yet again, the Walt Disney Company has received a top spot on Fortune’s list of “World’s Most Admired Companies.” They ranked No. 1 in the entertainment industry and No. 6 overall for 2018. This is the sixth consecutive year Disney has been in the top 10.
Fortune partnered with global management consulting firm Korn Ferry to compile the annual rankings out of the 1,000 largest U.S. companies ranked by revenue, along with non-U.S. companies in Fortune’s Global 500 database that have revenues of $10 billion or more. The top 50 companies were determined by a survey of 3,900 executives, directors and securities analysts in a variety of industries, who were asked to select the 10 companies they admired most.
Nine key attributes of corporate reputation are reviewed as part of this annual study. They include long-term investment value, quality of products/services, global competitiveness and social responsibility. Disney is an industry leader on Fortune’s list in these areas, as well as people management, use of corporate assets and financial soundness.
With regional cuisine inspired by the provinces of Canada, this is a favorite dining spot while visiting Epcot!

Good news for those visiting Walt Disney World this coming February – on select days next month, park hours have been extended. And in some cases, by four hours! Yes, that means you could have four extra hours to enjoy the Magic Kingdom! Both openings and closings times have been altered to extend the hours parks are open.
While historically February doesn’t pull in the same crowds that the holiday months (November and December) do, there are a lot of events happening around Disney World next month and Disney wants to make sure guests have plenty of time for all of their magical adventures!
Since not every single day of the month is showing extended hours, you’ll want to head over to Disney’s website or your My Disney Experience app to get hours for the days you plan to visit.
February has several things happening that will bring in extra crowds, including:
Dance and Cheer competition at ESPN Wide World of Sports
February is one of my favorite times to visit Walt Disney World. We love the mild, but not usually cold, weather that time of year in Central Florida. Plus, the Flower & Garden Festival is one of my must-do events – so I’m excited to see the early start this year!
If you’re planning on visiting Walt Disney World next month, don’t forget to check out the updated hours online!

It is I, Anonymouse, here to share what Disney internet is all abuzz with this week and it involves a potential new eatery at Epcot’s Japan Pavilion.
According to several online sources, a new Seafood and Steakhouse restaurant is rumored to be taking over part of the Mitsukoshi Department Store which has seen several layout changes and refurbishment over the last year.
If the rumour is true, this will be Japan’s 3rd Table Service Restaurant, the other two being Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining. Opinion is divided as to whether this restaurant is likely to be a reality, with some Disney fans arguing that a third table service eatery wouldn’t work or that there wouldn’t be enough space at Mitsukoshi Department Store for these suggested changes. However, it could also be seen as a welcome addition to Epcot’s already stellar restaurant line-up and could bring Wagyu Beef to the World Showcase!
Either way, this is a rumor that we’ll be playing close attention to in the weeks and months ahead. Remember, nothing is official until Disney confirms it so be sure to keep following along with us for the latest info!

In case you haven’t noticed, there’s been lots of talk about the events celebrating all-things Rock The Dots in honor of Minnie Mouse and National Polka Dot Day, which happens to be Monday, January 22.
But Minnie Mouse isn’t the only member of the Disney family who “rocks” dots. Several of our furry friends at Disney’s Animal Kingdom rock “dots” and other naturally beautiful patterns 365 days a year! Disney Parks Blog recently stopped by the park to see what the giraffe, African painted dogs, cheetah and more think about National Polka Dot Day.
To learn how you can celebrate National Polka Dot Day at Disney Springs and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Sunday, January 21, check out our previous blog posts.
