The Magic and Wonder of A Wrinkle in Time can be yours to wear, with a new cosmically inspired Alex and Ani collection. The A Wrinkle in Time Alex and Ani Collection features beautiful quote bracelets on delicate chains, engraved rings, and rustic necklace pendants. The new wondrous and whimsical collection debuted online March 2, 2018.

The collection varies a bit from the usual charm bangles and necklaces from Disney x Alex and Ani collabs, but in doing so captures the mystery and wonder from the story. One these new bracelets actually has one of my favorite quotes from the book on it! The quote “Nothing is hopeless, we must hope for everything” is on a black and gold bracelet. This quote is said by Mrs. Who, quoting Euripides in the Novel, and I’ve always loved it.

Changes Afoot at the Stage 1: Company Store in Hollywood Studios

One of our favorite gift shops in all of Walt Disney World has to be the Stage 1: Company Store off the Muppet Courtyard in Hollywood Studios. This retail outlet is your home to Muppet souvenirs including clothes, hats, toys and pins as well as a wide range of other Disney theme park merchandise. However, what really wins us over is the theming. The shop pays homage to the Happiness Hotel from The Great Muppet Caper with lots of little details that can be found by looking around the shop! (Hint: Be sure to look up!)

That’s why we here at Chip and Co. were sad to notice that on a recent visit Stage 1, the store has dwindled down to half its capacity with construction walls set up.

As of going to print, Disney is not reporting on the construction and no information is given on their refurbishment schedule. Our very own Chip was at the park this week and spoke to Cast Members at the shop who said that they know that changes are happened but no one is quite sure what they are as of yet.

Potential Club 33 Construction Update from the Adventureland Veranda At Magic Kingdom

Hi, Chip and Co fans! We stopped by Adventureland for a quick peek at the construction progress of the currently unannounced project happening at the Adventureland Veranda. Large green walls still line the walkways but you can see more details walking across the bridge.

Potential Club 33 Construction Update from the Adventureland Veranda At Magic Kingdom

We have been watching as the back deck of the Adventureland Veranda was removed with only see the rockwork underneath. Now it appears from the roofline peaking over the scrims that the back deck has gone vertical. As Disney is still being quiet on what is officially being done here, there has been much speculation from fans.

The most likely scenario is that this will be the future location of Magic Kingdom’s Club 33. Four Walt Disney World locations of this unique and very elite membership club were announced by Senior Vice President of Sales and Services, Claire Bilby to be arriving soon. The exact locations were not announced however so there is speculation on where they will pop up.

Of course, nothing is official until Disney says it is!

Update to Opting Out of Mousekeeping at Walt Disney World

Last summer, we reported that select Guests were offered a credit for opting out of Mousekeeping at select Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. We were curious to see if that offer is still available and we are happy to report that Chip just checked into a Resort this week and was offered a $10 per night Disney Gift Card for each night of his stay minus one for opting out.

Officially, per Disney, the Mousekeeping opt out is a pilot program and still in the testing phase. Guests are randomly asked at check-in if they would like to participate. It is also only offered at select Resorts and can change at any time.

We have heard that even if you do decline Mousekeeping, you can still contact them to bring you fresh towels and any other toiletry needs you may have.

Disney Pushes Live-Action ‘Mulan’ Back By Two Years To 2020, Plus More

The Walt Disney Company has pushed its live-action ‘Mulan’ back by two years from this coming November to March 27, 2020. Disney has also completely removed Nicole (aka Noelle) from its schedule. ‘Nicole’ was a female Santa Claus movie starring Anna Kendrick. It was set to drop on November 8, 2019, and it expected to be one of the films that will find its way to Disney’s upcoming streaming service.

In addition, they have scheduled a many of untitled Marvel and Disney titles, staking claims to dates through 2023. This comes after we reported yesterday that Avengers: Infinity War was moving up from May 2 to April 27 of this year. Also, the studio has finally titled its family film Disney’s Christopher Robin which will keep the previous release date of Aug. 3, 2018.

The band wowed the crowds during last year’s Epcot Internation Food & Wine Festival and have been invited back this Spring. The band hails from Canada’s Magdalen Islands in eastern Quebec. For four decades their infectious sound has embraced wide-ranging influences including Canjun, Celtic, bluegrass and rock music.
