For anyone who doesn’t know, Wheezy the Penguin is a squeaky, little crooner from Pixar’s Toy Story films. He has now joined some of Andy’s other toys including Jessie, Rex and Slinky Dog at his new home in Toy Story Land.

Toy Story Land will “shrink” everyone down to “toy-size” and allow for exploration of Andy’s backyard. Guests will be able to experience Slinky Dog Dash, a roller coaster Andy has built, and Alien Swirling Saucers, inspired by a playset Andy won from Pizza Planet.

In addition, Toy Story Mania! will have a third track, which is wonderful news for this guest favorite attraction, and will include a new carnival game box walkthrough.

A few months ago we reported that Guests staying in Club Level Rooms at Disney World Resort Hotels were able to add on Signature Services to their packages. Some of the perks of the Signature Services included extra FastPasses, earlier booking window for FastPasses, and VIP seating at one nighttime spectacular such as Illuminations at Epcot.

Orlando Theme Park News is reporting that the Guests who chose to see Illuminations as their Signature Services nighttime spectacular will now have a complete new VIP viewing area just for them in Epcot. The viewing area will be located on the waterfront in the Germany Pavilion.

VIP viewing for Guests who use a FastPass to see Illuminations will still be located in Showcase Plaza.

If you are a Disney-lover like me, then you are familiar with the “Purple Wall” inside Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. If you aren’t as familiar, the “Purple Wall” is located in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom and is a wall that is purple and the backdrop of for hundreds of selfies daily. Several items of merchandise have been created to commemorate the Wall including shirts and MagicBands.

We are now hearing, that the wall will be receiving a fresh coat of paint to spruce it up a bit. In addition, a newly enhanced section will also debut later on this Spring. Have no worries though! The paint used to freshen it up will be the same iconic purple that it is currently painted with.

The Disney California Adventure Egg-stravaganza is returning for 2018! From March 16th through April 1st, Guests can participate in this fun, scavenger Easter egg hunt at Disney California Adventure Park!

At select merchandise locations around the Disneyland Resort, Guests can pick up a map and stickers for $5.99+ tax. The search then begins for special themed Pixar and Disney eggs located in “hidden” spots. Once you find the egg, put the corresponding sticker on the themed Egg-stravaganza map to represent that location. Once you complete the map, you can then return to 1 of the redemption locations for a special prize!

If Guardians of the Galaxy had you “hooked on a feeling” you’re not going to want to miss the Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live! concert series at Epcot this summer. The Star-Lord and Gamora will guide you on a musical journey through the Star-Lord’s Awesome Mixtapes.

Each concert will run five times daily and will feature music from the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtracks. Some of our favorite songs from the Mixtapes include: Hooked on a Feeling, I Want You Back, Escape (The Piña Colada Song), Come and Get Your Love, Brandy (You’re A Fine Girl), Mr. Blue Sky, Come A Little Bit Closer and many more. We can only hope some of these hits will be included in the stage performance.
