David Hasselhoff and his wife Hayley Roberts visited Disneyland Resort in California in honor of her birthday yesterday. Hayley’s big day was made even more special as it was also during Halloween Time at Disneyland!

The former Baywatch star tied the knot after a two year engaged during a ceremony in Italy in July of this year. The newlyweds spent the Hayley’s birthday enjoying both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure parks.

Details continue to creep out about Disney’s Netflix-type streaming service scheduled to debut next year. But the most recent rumor being reported by Variety.com will be huge for those fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Variety is reporting that your favorite Marvel Heroes will have their own shows when the service launches.

The series will be about six to eight episodes each featuring Marvel favorites such as Loki and the Scarlet Witch among others. What makes these series different from other Marvel shows meant for the small screen is that the characters will be portrayed by the actors and actresses that played them on the big screen. Budgets are also rumored to be very high for these series making them almost mini-movies you can play directly in your home.

Disney nor Marvel has yet to confirm or deny this rumor but Variety is reporting that the Marvel Heroes series are in early development. It is also being reported that we won’t see big the Marvel Heroes names in the episodes like Iron Man and Captain America but rather supporting characters from MCU.

Miguel Joins the Celebration of “Coco” as Plaza de le Familia Returns

Through November 4th, you and all your friends can experience Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure Park. You will be able to see the special seasonal festivity celebrating Disney•Pixar’s “Coco” and the everlasting bonds of family.

New this year, Miguel joins “A Musical Celebration of Coco.” Take a look at the video below! It’s pretty awesome!

A Celebration of “Coco” is only part of the fun! The show features the Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia and the Grammy-award winning Mariachi Divas for a festive show of music and dance that tells the incredible story of young Miguel’s journey as seen in “Coco.” New this year, this charming troupe of singers and authentic Folklórico dancers is joined by Miguel, brought to life in a whimsical, hand-crafted style inspired by traditional Mexican folk art.

The Día de los Muertos magic also extends to Cars Land. An ofrenda (a remembrance altar) will be on display that pays tribute to Doc Hudson (aka, the Fabulous Hudson Hornet). Look for it at Ramone’s House of Body Art, just down Route 66!

Over at Disneyland Park, Zócalo Park in Frontierland will be decked out with an elaborate and colorful display in honor of Día de los Muertos. This immersive setting features beautiful marigolds and papel picado throughout the installation, along with a traditional ofrenda, calaveras (sugar skulls), an iconic figure of La Catrina and delicious food at the nearby Rancho del Zócalo.

These Día de los Muertos experiences will be offered beginning September 7 and run until November 2, 2018 at the Disneyland Resort.

Get ‘Up Close with Rhinos’ at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

In my opinion, rhinos are some of the most majestic animals on the planet. Weighing in as the second-largest animals on Earth, they are a massive sight to behold. Beginning on November 1, guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom are invited to get up close and personal with these magical creatures on the new “Up Close with Rhinos” backstage experience.

The guided, 60-minute, behind-the-scenes adventure allows guests to see how Disney’s animal team care for white rhinos on Kilimanjaro Safaris and how Disney is aiming to lead the way to saving endangered species in the wild. Guests During this experience might even have a once in a lifetime chance to touch a rhino!

The animal keepers at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park are super excited about this new “Up Close with Rhinos” experience as well. Caitlin Miller, rhino care team leader said, ““I love talking to guests about how unique each individual rhino’s personality is. I know once guests come and meet the rhinos, they are going to see just how amazing they are and will want to help us secure a future for them.”

In the wild, rhinos can be located in bush country and open grassy flat lands in Africa and Southeast Asia. They are one of the most endangered species in the world mostly due to poaching. Disney is one of the leaders in rhino conservation efforts around the world including those of the Sumatran rhinos of Indonesia which are among the most endangered of the species. To date, the Disney Conservation Fund as donated move than $2 million to support their conservation efforts.

The “Up Close with Rhinos” tour will be offered once a day. Booking for the new experience will begin on September 22 which is also World Rhino Day. Guests must be at least 4 years old to participate and the cost is $40 plus tax. Discounts are available to select Annual Passholders and DVC Members. Disney PhotoPass Studio Offers Magic Shot with Jailed Pirates from Pirates of the Caribbean

Grab your friends and family and smile for the camera with this iconic bunch of scallywags. In honor of National Talk Like A Pirate Day, a new Magic Shot has arrived up at Disney’s PhotoPass Studio featuring the jailed pirates from Pirates of the Caribbean.

The notorious trio of pirates from Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean attraction (alongside their furry “taunter”) are ready to join you in a photo. So relax! There’s no need to try and hop off a boat to have your picture taken when you can do it right at Disney Springs. And in case you need a disclaimer: do not try to hop off the boat, or any vehicles, at any attractions within any of the parks.

The PhotoPass Studio, located in Disney Springs next to Marketplace Co-Op, is a great way to get some use of Memory Maker and snap some great pictures. If you have not been, the studio is set up similar to a portrait studio with a digital backdrop that is added once your photo has been taken. This allows you to have a picture taken in scenes from your favorite Disney movies at one location. Some movie backdrops may include: Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Inside Out, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Tangled, Monsters Inc, Mickey and the Roadster Racers, and many more!

Imagine Dragons, the GRAMMY®-winning band behind recent hits “Natural” and “Whatever It Takes,” wrote and recorded “Zero” which will be featured on the upcoming Walt Disney Records soundtrack album. Directed by Rich Moore and Phil Johnston, “Ralph Breaks the Internet” opens in U.S. theaters on Nov. 21, 2018.

In the movie, video-game bad guy Ralph struggles with his evolving friendship with fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz. According to Imagine Dragons’ lead singer Dan Reynolds, the film’s emotional themes are reflected in the song “Zero.” “It’s a pretty timely movie in a lot of ways in that it addresses some of the issues of identity and loneliness unique to this internet generation,” says Reynolds. “Ralph’s internal struggle for self-acceptance really resonated with us, and this song speaks to that.”

Kids Can Celebrate Halloween at Disney Stores

My kids’ favorite part of Halloween is being able to dress up. Who doesn’t love dressing up as their favorite character? On Saturdays, select Disney Stores through the month of October will be hosting Halloween events where the kiddos can dress up in their favorite Halloween costume! The spooky events will be at 1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm. The Halloween parties are attending for guests ages 3-12. RSVP’s are required so as soon as there are 20 participants to sign up, the event is closed. Guests will also receive some fun gifts, like a free Mickey Mouse pumpkin light up wristband!
