Prepare to be dazzled! Disney has unveiled the full lineup of dates and exciting new details for Jollywood Nights 2025, the separately ticketed event that infuses Disney’s Hollywood Studios with a unique blend of old Hollywood glamour and festive holiday cheer. Get ready for a season of shimmering décor, exclusive entertainment, specialty treats, and lower wait times for your favorite attractions.
Imagine stepping onto a retro Christmas movie set – that’s the magic of Jollywood Nights. Held on select nights in November and December, Hollywood Studios transforms with silver garlands, giant ornaments, and glowing reindeer that evoke a vintage postcard. During this special event, the park truly sparkles with live performances, elegant ambiance, unique food and beverage options, and entertainment designed exclusively for party-goers. Plus, with limited capacity, you can often enjoy shorter lines for popular rides!
This year, the vintage holiday vibes will run on select nights from November 8th to December 22nd. Plan your visit accordingly, as November dates are primarily on select Saturdays and Mondays, while December shifts to select Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

Disney World Launches Virtual Queue for EPCOT’s Test Track Passholders
Anticipation is building at EPCOT as Disney World has officially activated the virtual queue system for the highly anticipated Annual Passholder previews of the reimagined Test Track. Passholders can now see the virtual queue option live within the My Disney Experience app, preparing for the special preview dates running from July 13 through July 19, 2025, with the exception of July 17.
This virtual queue system offers a streamlined and organized experience for Passholders eager to get a sneak peek of the updated attraction before its official reopening to all guests on July 22, 2025.
Passholders will have two opportunities each day to join the virtual queue:
7:00 AM ET: At this time, Passholders can join the virtual queue from anywhere, provided they have a valid park reservation for EPCOT on that day.
1:00 PM ET: This second distribution time allows any Passholder with valid admission to EPCOT to join the virtual queue, regardless of whether they have a park reservation. Guests must have already entered the park to access this later drop.
The virtual queue is expected to be a popular method for managing demand for the updated Test Track, which has been undergoing a significant reimagining. While details of the full changes have been kept under wraps, Disney has teased a refreshed queue experience, updated visuals inspired by the original World of Motion, and an enhanced storyline focusing on the future of automotive innovation. The popular high-speed outdoor track remains a thrilling highlight.
This structured preview period aims to provide Passholders with a convenient way to experience the new Test Track, minimizing traditional wait times and allowing them to enjoy other EPCOT offerings while they await their boarding group. It’s a welcome opportunity for loyal Disney fans to be among the first to “test drive” this exciting evolution of a beloved EPCOT attraction.

Major Closures and Refurbishments Coming to Walt Disney World Through 2026: What’s Opening, Closing, and Retheming Soon
If you’re planning a Walt Disney World vacation between now and 2026, there’s a whole lot of change on the horizon. From big-name ride refurbishments to themed lounge openings and even a few permanent closures, it’s clear Disney is laying the groundwork for an even more magical (and modernized) future. Let’s break down everything we know so far, park by park:
Spaceship Earth will close on August 25, 2025 for a much-anticipated refurbishment and will reopen later that year with updated storytelling and effects.
The new GEO-82 Lounge, inspired by Spaceship Earth, is already open for guests looking for a relaxing, futuristic escape.
And just in time for the summer crowd, Test Track will reopen on July 22, 2025, following a major overhaul in partnership with General Motors.
🦖 Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Big changes are in motion at Animal Kingdom, especially in DinoLand U.S.A.:
Already closed:
TriceraTop Spin, Fossil Fun Games, and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures
It’s Tough to Be a Bug!
In early 2026, DINOSAUR, Restaurantosaurus, Dino-Bite Snacks, and Trilo-Bites will also close permanently.
But there’s something wildly exciting coming: the brand-new Zootopia: Better Zoogether! experience will open in Winter 2025, promising a vibrant addition to the park where guests can dive into Judy Hopps’ world.
🏰 Magic Kingdom
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin will close for refurbishment on August 4, 2025 and is expected to reopen in 2026.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is currently closed for a lengthy refurbishment and will also reopen in 2026.
Rivers of America, Tom Sawyer Island, and the Liberty Square Riverboat are all permenantly closed.
Walt Disney World Railroad is operating in shuttle mode due to the closure of Frontierland Station.
Coming soon, The Beak & Barrel, a Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired lounge, is set to open late 2025—expect a swashbuckling good time with themed drinks and immersive storytelling.
🎥 Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo are closed.
Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano has closed its doors.
But Hollywood Studios also saw two major new arrivals:
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After is now open.
The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure has debuted as a fresh, stage-based take on Ariel’s classic tale.
Looking ahead to 2026, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will close and reopen with a new Muppets retheme, replacing Aerosmith with a more family-friendly (and chaotic) crew.
On May 22, 2026, expect a new Star Wars: Millennium Falcon experience featuring The Mandalorian and Grogu to debut in Galaxy’s Edge.

Sunset Seasons Greetings and Olaf’s Finale Return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the 2025 Holiday Season
Hollywood is getting its holiday glow back as Disney’s Hollywood Studios officially confirms the return of Sunset Seasons Greetings and Olaf’s Frozen Adventure finale for 2025! From November 14 through December 31, the park transforms into a winter wonderland full of shimmering lights, snow flurries, festive characters, and more movie magic than you can fit into a Christmas card.
Each evening, guests can head down Sunset Boulevard for the return of Sunset Seasons Greetings, a fan-favorite nighttime projection show that turns the Hollywood Tower Hotel into a series of festive vignettes. This dazzling display features a rotating lineup of magical scenes including a Toy Story toy hotel, a Muppets gingerbread extravaganza, a snow-covered Arendelle, and a nostalgic nod to Mickey’s Christmas Carol. It’s all set to seasonal music and bursts of snow in the air—yes, even in Florida!
Over at the Hyperion Theater, the “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” will once again close with its special holiday finale, featuring music and moments from Olaf’s Frozen Adventure. Olaf joins Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff in this crowd-pleasing retelling of Arendelle’s traditions, adding a flurry of festive spirit to this already beloved experience.
Of course, holiday cheer isn’t just reserved for the stage. Throughout the park, guests will find vintage Christmas decor stretching across Echo Lake, Grand Avenue, and Sunset Boulevard. Echo Lake’s iconic giant ornaments and floating garland return alongside a festively dressed Gertie the Dinosaur—yes, she’s got her Santa hat on and ready for selfies.
Toy Story Land is getting into the spirit, too! Woody, Jessie, and Buzz will all be sporting their holiday best, while oversized popcorn garlands and Christmas cookies pop up throughout Andy’s backyard. It’s the perfect setting for a holiday-themed photo op with your favorite toys.
And let’s not forget Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine! This festive dining experience offers guests the chance to enjoy seasonal dishes while rubbing elbows with Minnie, Mickey, and pals dressed in their yuletide finest. The menu features a merry mix of savory entrees and sweet holiday treats, making it a must-do for anyone looking to eat, greet, and be merry.
