Disneyland Scraps 11 AM Park Hopping Rule Next Month
The countdown to total theme park freedom is officially on! Disneyland Resort has just announced the exact date for the removal of this long-standing park-hopping restriction, giving guests the ultimate green light to map out their perfect West Coast Disney days.
Starting next month on June 9, 2026, Disneyland Resort will officially eliminate the 11:00 AM Park Hopper restriction! With this highly anticipated update, guests holding Park Hopper tickets or a Magic Key pass will have the freedom to move between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure at any time throughout the day, subject only to park capacity.
To make the most of your day, be sure to check the official Park Hours calendar or the Disneyland app for the most up-to-date Park Hopper hours, as schedules can still vary depending on the day and specific park. Additionally, a park reservation is not required for your second park after you have scanned into your first park, though Disney notes that reservation requirements are always subject to change.
Are you excited for the park hopping restriction to end?
Brand-New ‘Toy Story 5’ Banners Debuted in Hollywood Studios
The excitement for Woody and Buzz’s next big adventure is officially building at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Brand-new promotional banners for Toy Story 5 have just been installed right outside the entrance to Toy Story Land.
These eye-catching new additions have popped up across several lamp posts lining the main entrance walkway into Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Each colorful banner proudly features the logo for the highly anticipated fifth installment of the beloved Pixar franchise, Toy Story 5, reminding passing guests that the toys are officially returning to the big screen when the film hits theaters next month on June 19, 2026!
Breaking down the design of the new displays, one standout banner features Buzz Lightyear looking as heroic as ever with his arms crossed and a determined expression directed at the film’s central antagonist—a large, green, frog-shaped smart tablet named Lilypad.
The new tech villain also makes a mischievous appearance on the other designs. A second banner stars Jessie, who is seen peeking in from the side of the frame with a completely surprised expression as Lilypad smiles brightly beside her. Meanwhile, a third version shows Woody looking visibly worried as he glances over at the modern screen.
Tying the whole collection together, all three banners utilize a clean, mostly white background that makes the characters pop, with the colorful Toy Story 5 logo centered beautifully near the bottom just above the film’s official release reminder: “In Theaters June 19.”
These vibrant new displays have been added to multiple lamp posts throughout the area, creating a fun and colorful promotional overlay for guests exploring Toy Story Land ahead of the film’s big summer release!
Step Into Nostalgia With These Mickey Mouse Loafers
If you are looking to add some serious personality to your shoe game without looking like you are headed straight to a theme park, Bershka’s Disney Mickey Mouse Loafers are hitting that exact sweet spot. Loafers are already holding it down as the ultimate cheat code for looking put-together, but this collaboration takes the classic smart shoe and gives it a heavy dose of streetwear attitude. It is the perfect mix of I have my life together and I still watch cartoons on Saturday mornings.
What makes these stand out is that they don’t play it safe. Instead of sticking to a boring black leather design with a tiny, hidden logo, these feature a bold, multicolored graphic print that puts Mickey right in the center of the action. The design hits that perfect nostalgic, artsy vibe, giving off major retro animation energy while keeping the silhouette crisp and modern.
Bershka also didn’t skimp on the comfort factor for these. They are built with their STARFIT insoles, which use a flexible technical latex foam. If you’ve ever broken in a traditional pair of leather loafers, you know it can usually feel like walking on blocks of wood for the first two weeks. These bypass that whole painful initiation phase, giving you that cushiony, sneaker-like comfort right out of the box so you can actually wear them all day.
Styling them is honestly where the fun begins because they are a total conversation starter. You can easily rock them with some oversized baggy jeans and a cropped hoodie for an effortless street-style look, or throw them on with tailored trousers to completely disrupt a more formal outfit. They are loud, comfy, and the perfect excuse to inject some Disney magic into your daily rotation without sacrificing your style.

Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and ACL Music Festivals Are Coming to Disney+
If your summer plans didn’t include dropping a paycheck on festival tickets, flights, and overpriced camping gear, don’t stress. You’re about to get a front-row seat to the biggest music moments of the year without ever leaving your air-conditioned living room. Disney+ and Hulu just dropped some massive news: they are teaming up to livestream Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits (ACL) directly to subscribers worldwide.
While Hulu users in the U.S. have been enjoying this digital couch tour perk for the past six years, bringing Disney+ into the mix changes the entire game. By launching these livestreams globally, music fans spanning different continents and time zones can watch the exact same headliners smash their sets at the exact same time. Whether you want to catch the positive farm vibes of Bonnaroo in June, the massive city stages of Chicago’s Lollapalooza in mid-summer, or the iconic Texas sets of ACL in October, the festival season is officially coming to you.
The move makes total sense when you look at how much our music tastes have shifted lately. According to a recent global study by Live Nation, a whopping 73% of fans say they’re listening to more international artists than they used to, and 85% agree that live music completely transcends borders and languages. Music fandom isn’t tied to a single country anymore, so it’s only right that the festivals aren’t either. As Live Nation put it, these events used to be exclusive experiences reserved only for the people who could physically squeeze into the crowd. Now, they are turning into massive, shared cultural moments on a global scale.
To make sure you actually feel like you’re part of the action, Disney+ and Hulu are also bringing back The Live Set. It’s an on-site, freshly redesigned content studio embedded right at each festival. So, between the live musical performances, you’ll get to see exclusive artist interviews and plenty of behind-the-scenes footage to break up the weekend.
Make sure your subscription is active, text the group chat, and clear your weekends. Here is the official festival schedule to keep on your radar:
Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival: June 11 – 14
Lollapalooza: July 30 – August 2
Austin City Limits Music Festival: October 2 – 4
Expect specific streaming schedules and lineup details to drop right before each weekend kicks off. Grab your favorite concert tee and get the couch ready!
Central Florida Zoo Sloths Dolce and Chewie Released From ICU as Recovery Continues
Two tiny tree-huggers at the Central Florida Zoo are continuing their fight to recover after being rescued in heartbreaking condition. The zoo shared an encouraging update announcing that sloths Dolce and Chewie have officially been cleared from the ICU and are now stable while recovering in quarantine. The update was posted alongside adorable photos of the pair hanging upside down and peeking curiously at the camera, instantly melting the internet one fuzzy nose at a time.
According to the Central Florida Zoo, Dolce and Chewie were among several sloths that arrived under extremely poor conditions. While the two are showing signs of improvement, zoo officials cautioned that their situation can still change at any moment as recovery continues.
The case has drawn significant attention after reports revealed that dozens of sloths connected to the situation had died. A total of 56 sloths reportedly perished before rescue efforts brought surviving animals into professional care.
In their update, the zoo described Dolce and Chewie as “fighters” and said both animals are continuing to battle every day as staff carefully monitor their progress.
The photos shared by the zoo show the pair appearing alert and calm while resting among branches and greenery inside their recovery habitat. One sloth hangs upside down while peeking through leaves, while the other appears to pose directly for the camera like the world’s slowest celebrity headshot.
For animal lovers across Central Florida, the update offers at least a small ray of hope in an otherwise difficult story. Supporters have flooded social media with messages cheering on the pair as they continue their recovery journey one very slow step at a time.
Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp and Po Live! Closing for Extended Refurbishment at Universal Orlando
Looks like Po is heading off for a little training montage of his own. Universal Orlando Resort has confirmed that both Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp and Po Live! inside DreamWorks Land at Universal Studios Florida will temporarily close for refurbishment beginning May 18, 2026.
According to Universal’s refurbishment calendar, the closures are expected to last through July 3, which would position both attractions to reopen just in time for the busy Fourth of July holiday crowds.
The closure affects two of DreamWorks Land’s major Kung Fu Panda experiences. Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp serves as the land’s interactive play area, complete with climbing structures, water effects, and the now-infamous giant tipping water bucket. Meanwhile, Po Live! features the animated dragon warrior himself interacting with guests in a digital live-show format.
The refurbishment comes after a rocky first year for parts of the play area. Several effects inside Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp had been non-operational or altered following the land’s opening. Earlier this spring, the giant water bucket finally returned to operation after being inactive for nearly a year.
Even with the bucket restored, some missing elements remained noticeable throughout the area. One bamboo tower beneath the bucket had been absent since at least April 2025, replaced with a construction box, while decorative laundry props and interactive water cannon targets quietly disappeared from sections of the play area.
For longtime Universal fans, the water bucket itself may look familiar. The effect was carried over from the former Curious George Goes to Town attraction that previously occupied the space before DreamWorks Land opened.
While Universal has not announced specific details about the refurbishment work, the extended closure window suggests the resort may be taking the opportunity to address lingering maintenance and thematic issues throughout the area. For families visiting this summer, especially with younger kids, this could leave DreamWorks Land feeling a little less panda-monium-filled than usual.
Disney Finally Gives Voices of Liberty Their Own Spotlight Sign at EPCOT
One of EPCOT’s most beloved live entertainment acts is finally getting a little more time in the spotlight. Disney has added a brand-new Voices of Liberty sign outside The American Adventure pavilion at EPCOT, giving the iconic a cappella group a dedicated display complete with performance details and showtimes.
The new sign replaces one of the existing posters that previously advertised The American Adventure stage show. Styled to match the pavilion’s classic patriotic aesthetic, the updated artwork features members of Voices of Liberty gathered around the Liberty Bell with an American flag waving behind them.
The poster also promotes the group’s “A Cappella Performances Featuring Music from the American Songbook” and includes interchangeable showtimes, allowing Disney to update the schedule throughout the day as needed.
For years, Voices of Liberty has quietly been one of the hidden gems of EPCOT, delivering powerhouse harmonies inside the pavilion rotunda with acoustics so good they could probably make your grocery list sound inspirational. Despite the group’s popularity, they have rarely received prominent exterior promotion compared to larger stage productions around the parks.
The addition of a dedicated sign may seem small, but for longtime EPCOT fans, it feels like Disney finally giving this fan-favorite entertainment offering its flowers… or perhaps its stars and stripes.
Voices of Liberty performs multiple times daily inside The American Adventure rotunda and is especially popular during EPCOT’s holiday season, when the singers become part of the Candlelight Processional performances.
Soarin’ Gets a Patriotic Makeover as EPCOT Prepares for Return of Soarin’ Across America
The skies over EPCOT are about to get a little more red, white, and blue. Disney has begun transforming the entrance to Soarin’ inside The Land pavilion as preparations continue for the return of Soarin’ Across America later this month. Soarin’ Around the World officially closed this week, and patriotic decorations are already taking flight around the attraction’s marquee.
New decor inspired by the American flag now surrounds the classic Soarin’ cloud sign. A red-and-white striped banner featuring the familiar hang glider icon stretches above the entrance, while patriotic bunting adds an extra dose of Main Street Fourth of July energy to the pavilion.
Behind the marquee, blue panels decorated with white stars now cover portions of the column, while additional red-and-white striped panels wrap around the sides. It does appear the installation is still in progress, as one side currently has more striping than the other. Some green sections of the original column also remain visible near the base.
Soarin’ Across America officially returns to EPCOT on May 26 as part of Walt Disney World’s Cool Kids’ Summer offerings. Disney has already confirmed the returning version of the attraction will include additional locations and an updated musical score, giving longtime fans something new to look forward to when they buckle back into those hang gliders.
For many EPCOT fans, the return of Soarin’ Across America feels like the attraction finally catching a tailwind back home. The original version has remained a fan favorite thanks to its sweeping national landmarks, nostalgic soundtrack, and slightly less bendy Eiffel Tower.
GoofyCore Takes Over CommuniCore Hall as EPCOT Gets Ready for Cool Kids’ Summer
Goofy is getting ready to run the summer fun at EPCOT, and CommuniCore Hall is already looking GoofyCore delightfully.
New decals have been added to the exterior doors and windows of CommuniCore Hall as Disney prepares the space for the return of GoofyCore during Cool Kids’ Summer. The colorful graphics bring plenty of playful energy to the building, with music notes, stars, paint splashes, Goofy’s iconic green hat, white-gloved hands, and bright Cool Kids’ Summer logos now covering several glass panels near the entrance.
The biggest new addition is a large GoofyCore display featuring Goofy himself against a bold, colorful circular backdrop. Additional GoofyCore logos can also be seen along the outer edges of the entrance, making it pretty clear that Goofy has officially clocked in for summer duty.
The designs also include splashes of dripping paint, robotic arms, and tubes inspired by Goofy’s Game Machine, giving the whole entrance a silly science-lab-meets-dance-party feel. It is colorful, chaotic, and very Goofy, which is exactly the assignment.
The update comes after Spike’s Garden closed inside CommuniCore Hall. That space had been part of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, but Disney is now shifting gears as Cool Kids’ Summer gets ready to begin.
GoofyCore is scheduled to return on May 26 and continue through September 8, 2026. The offering features Goofy leading kid-friendly activities, games, and dance parties inside CommuniCore Hall.
Cool Kids’ Summer is shaping up to be a major family-focused offering across Walt Disney World this year, and EPCOT’s GoofyCore setup looks ready to bring the giggles, wiggles, and full Goof troop energy.
