Now that social distancing is being eased all over Walt Disney World, Disney Cast Members are now boarding multiple parties in each gondola for Disney’s Skyliner.
If you are uncomfortable riding with another party you should advise the Disney Cast Member before you get on, otherwise it is business as usual on the Disney Skyliner.
Are you excited to see Disney World getting back to normal? With the capacity being raised soon do you think the parks will be even more crowded this summer?
We were invited by Morimoto Asia to come and try their menu for Asian Heritage Month. Morimoto Asia is located at Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort. The Landing at Disney Springs is the venue for Morimoto’s very first “Pan-Asian” restaurant.
Morimoto Asia is a beautiful two-story restaurant with chandeliers over 20 ft. Fun fact, they are actually made of old fishing baskets. They added colorful lights to reflect off the chandeliers specially for Asian Heritage Month.
The Menu
We went to try out the special menu dedicated to Asian Heritage Month but we also got to try some restaurant favorites. The first up was one of their most popular dishes, Morimoto Spare Ribs- pork ribs, cilantro, hoisin sweet chili glaze. The ribs were fall of the bone delicious, I would go back just for more of these.
Also a restaurant staple is the Crispy Popcorn Shrimp Tempura- signature tempura shrimp, spicy gochujang aioli. These two items are regulars on the menu at Morimoto Asia and I highly recommend.
Here is a look at the limited-time menu available until the end of May.
The Salmon Tartare was incredible. It was very nice and light and the perfect appetizer. All the flavors blended so well together.
This was the A5 Wagyu Loco Moco. It’s a Wagyu Beef/ Filet Mignon blend served sizzling over a bed of rice. Another incredible dish. The egg and mushroom were so yummy with the burger. They said the rice is washed and polished right in house.
For dessert we had a Filipino-inspired shaved ice. The tropical boba pearls paired well with the sweetend shaved ice.
We had an amazing time. The service was excellent and I loved every bite of food. It’s definitely one of the top restaurants located in Disney Springs. You can view a full menu here. I recommend getting reservations for your next trip.
The Main Street Confectionery is currently undergoing a significant refurbishment. Guests walking down Main Street U.S.A. will quickly notice how Disney put up new construction walls around the shop. This iconic location will soon receive a fresh new look, expanded layout with more room to shop and interactive opportunities to customize your confections like never before.

Terran Treats is another new dining location coming to Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure. The Collector, Taneleer Tivan, did not limit his collection to lovable misfits; he is also curating a weird and wonderful menu of intergalactic eats at Terran Treats, a food cart near Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! Possible sinister motivations aside, the flavors are out of this world, literally!
The Pym Test Kitchen which opens on June 4 with Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure will feature some unique, innovative food offerings. One of these offerings is a pricey sandwich that can feed a whole family!
Just as Ant-Man and The Wasp used “Pym Particles” to grow and shrink just about anything, the Pym Test Kitchen applies this innovative science to food creation. This unbound potential allows Pym Test Kitchen to showcase normal foods at unusual scales.
The “Pym-ini” sandwich is a panini on toasted focaccia with salami, rosemary ham, Provolone and marinara dipping sauce which can be served by the slice or as a long, multi-portion sandwich for a family or group. The Family-Sized Pym-ini comes with potato bites and arugula salad, can serve 6-8 people, and costs a whopping $99.99!
Deep in the Hundred Acre Wood, a new adventure is about to happen. Disney’s iconic Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin, and their best friends Piglet, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo, Rabbit, and Owl (and Tigger too!) will all arrive on stage in a new beautifully-crafted musical stage adaptation.
The new show will feature the Sherman Brothers’ classic Grammy Award-winning music with additional songs by A.A. Milne. In a new story from the Hundred Acre Wood, this fresh stage adaptation is told with stunning life-size puppetry through the eyes of the characters we all know and love.
Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Adaptation is developed and presented by renowned family entertainment creator Jonathan Rockefeller (whose spectacular puppetry is omnipresent in theacclaimed productions of The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show and Paddington Gets in a Jam). Performances will take place at Times Square’s Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street) beginning October 21, 2021.
Winnie the Pooh is partnering with TodayTix.com for an exclusive ticket pre-sale beginning June 1, 2021. General on-sale tickets begin June 14, 2021 at WinnieThePoohShow.com
“I am thrilled to be entrusted to create a new classic for the stage, for new audiences as they join our adventure into the Hundred Acre Wood. And what a grand adventure! Disney’s Winnie the Pooh material is so incredibly rich, that after more than half a century, I doubt there is anyone who hasn’t been profoundly moved or feels a personal connection with the wonderful characters of Pooh. The question we posed ourselves when creating this intimate musical adaptation was, ‘How do we bring Pooh from the screen and onto the stage in an entirely fresh and new way, yet one that still pays homage to the deep canon
of Winnie the Pooh iconography?’ The answer was easy… well, conceptually easy, in theory… we needed to create incredible, brilliant and amazing puppetry that makes it impossible to believe the characters aren’t real. Audiences can expect their hearts will be captivated by the characters, and their imaginations will soar with these life-size puppets.” Jonathan Rockefeller, Rockefeller Productions

EPCOT is a feast for the eyes, but Spice Road Table in the Morocco pavilion is a feast in many ways. The recent updates to this classic Walt Disney World restaurant ensure that the pavilion stays beautiful and refreshed. Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley recently took to Instagram to demonstrate the work put into this modern Marrakesh.
Riddley joined EPCOT Art Director, Michael Wells, to tour the recent changes to Spice Road Table. The reason for changes is because Disney acquired the businesses previously run by Marrakesh Moroccan Restaurant, LLC inside the pavilion. With the new management, Disney decided an update was in order.
Spice Road Table provides delicious Mediterranean flavors alongside some of the best waterfront views in EPCOT. The interior is now just as beautiful with bold colors and patterns, as well as authentic props. Metal hand-painted signs were imported from Morocco with Arabic and French descriptions on them. The verisimilitude of the atmosphere comes from the Disney team’s effort to reproduce complex textures, patterns, and forms, something that is synonymous with Moroccan culture. Be sure to make a reservation at Spice Road Table to experience the ambiance for yourself!
Many other changes are occurring at the Morocco pavilion and across EPCOT. Currently, the fountain is being refurbished and is blocked by large planters. Guests can still access the back of the pavilion via a small passageway to the left. Have you seen some of the changes taking place in EPCOT’s Morocco? What do you think? Let us know in the comments!

We have sad news to report. Sam Wright the voice of Sebastian in Disney’s The Little Mermaid has just passed away.
The news was shared just a little bit ago:
Today, the Town of Montgomery mourns the loss of Sam Wright. Pictured here with Town Supervisor Brian Maher and his brother Patrick in Walden in the early 1990’s. Sam was an inspiration to us all and along with his family established the Hudson Valley Conservatory.
Sam and his family have impacted countless Hudson Valley youth always inspiring them to reach higher and dig deeper to become the best version of themselves. On top of his passion for the arts and his love for his family, Sam was most known for walking into a room and simply providing PURE JOY to those he interacted with. He loved to entertain, he loved to make people smile and laugh and he loved to love.
The greater Town of Montgomery Community mourns together today. As we say goodbye to a pillar in our community and ask everyone to share a memory and help us celebrate the life of this great man.
Samuel Edward Wright is an American actor and singer. He is best known for playing the voice of Sebastian in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, for which he provided the lead vocals to “Under the Sea”, which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song.
Wright also played the part of Mufasa in the original cast of The Lion King on Broadway and voiced Kron the Iguanodon in Disney’s film Dinosaur.
Rest in Power, Sam Wright. You were a flawless Mufasa and a spectacular human being. It was a profound honor to work with you, sir…you will be missed. @TheLionKingpic.twitter.com/Tqlyy6r7kf
Tigger Tails are a classic Disney snack that can be found at both Magic Kingdom and Disneyland. They are very popular among guests because they are sweet, sugary, caramely and just overall delicious!
This treat features a stack of marshmallows on a candy stick, dipped in caramel, white chocolate and rolled in sanding sugar and drizzled with dark chocolate. Craving one yet? Well you’re in luck because Delish shared a recipe so you can recreate them at home!
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and fir with a cooling rack. Slide 4 marshmallows to the ends of each lollipop stick.
Place caramel sauce in a shallow bowl and microwave until pourable, 20 to 25 seconds. Use a spoon to coat marshmallows completely with caramel, then place on prepared cooling rack. When marshmallows are coated, place baking sheet and refrigerate until firm, 20 to 25 minutes.
In another shallow bowl, microwave white chocolate until completely melted. Stir in red and yellow food coloring to make orange. Spoon chocolate over marshmallows until completely coated and immediately coat with orange sanding sugar.
Place coated marshmallows back on cooling wrack and drizzle with melted chocolate to make stripes. Serve immediately or place in refrigerator to harden completely.
