Another quick service food option has reopened at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. The Golden Oak Outpost is once again open for business in Frontierland!
Rustle up vittles to go at this Old West-style eatery—the menu features hot-n-crispy chicken breast strips, loaded fries, cookies and ice-cold soft drinks!
You can take a look at the food we ordered in our video below. Even though we didn’t see our favorite waffle fries, the chili cheese fries are a great snack for a day at the park.
Overall, Golden Oak Outpost is a great place to get some food while exploring Frontierland. We like the fun outdoor aesthetic and it’s located near Splash Mountain. Be sure to check it out the next time you seek food at Magic Kingdom!
If athleisure is your aesthetic, get excited because the Fabletics Athletic story is making its way to Disney Springs.
If you’re unfamiliar with Fabletics, it is a California-based activewear brand co-founded by actress Kate Hudson. This will be Fabletics second Orlando store, the first located in The Millenia Mall.
This Fabletics store will offer a unique shopping experience, customers will not have to leave the fitting rooms and can use the in-store Omnisuite and Omnishop technologies to get styling tips and request a different size, color, and even check stock.
Another unique feature of this story is it will allow employees to place orders and arrange for products to ship for free directly to their customers. This location will also feature a fitness boutique, this is a part of Fabletics ongoing collaboration with Hydrow (an immersive at-home rowing machine.)
If you’re excited about this new store you won’t have to wait long! The soft opening of Fabletics at Disney Springs will take place starting this fall with private shopping appointments, offering exclusive member and guest discounts. More details on opening dates and store hours will come later, so be sure to continue to follow us to stay in the loop.

Disneyland Paris has just issued a statement concerning the new measures in place to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 across France from the French President.
It reads:
The French President Macron recently addressed the nation to unveil new measures meant to mitigate the spread of Covid across the country. Among these measures, he confirmed that a sanitary pass will be required as of July 21st for all leisure and cultural locations gathering more than 50 people.
We remain open and our flexible commercial conditions continue to apply. We will adjust our operations to comply with the new measures and provide more updates as soon as possible.
Due to a very high volume of calls, you may experience longer delays than usual when trying to contact us. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to welcoming you soon at Disneyland Paris.
What is a Sanitary pass you might ask?
What they call “sanitary pass” in France corresponds to the “digital green certificate” or “European Covid-19 certificate” offered by the European Commission in March 2021. In France it includes three documents to be presented as desired:
• A vaccination certificate against Covid-19 (digital – via the TousAntiCovid application – or paper)
• A negative PCR test or antigenic test less than 48 hours old
• A certificate of reinstatement
The result of a positive RT-PCR or antigenic test attesting to the recovery of Covid-19, at least 15 days old and less than 6 months old.
In accordance with the law in France, you will be asked for a sanitary pass to access the large gatherings including the WSN events.
The sanitary pass is required for gatherings of more than 1 000 people. Places, establishments and events concerned will be precisely defined by regulations. Among them :
• Marquees, theaters, sporting or cultural performances venue, conference rooms
• Trade show and exhibition fairs (by exhibition hall)
• Stadiums, outdoor establishments and indoor sporting establishments
• Theme parks (only for some establishments that compose it; for example, a restaurant inside a park)
• Big casinos
• Seated or standing outdoor festivals
• Sporting outdoor competitions (if the conditions of feasibility are established)
• Cruises and passenger boats with housing over 1 000 people
• Other events, when specifically localised; for example, organized bals by collectivities
Disneyland Paris has also set up a page for guests to read over before visiting that tells them everything they need to know before their visit. You can access this page here.

From the 1950s to today, from Jungle Cruise to “it’s a small world” to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Disney Parks attractions have amazed millions. And this is the story of how they did it.

The 10-part series, narrated by Paget Brewster, gives viewers an exclusive peek ‘behind the curtain’ of the most beloved attractions and destinations at Disney Parks and Resorts around the world, from Jungle Cruise to “it’s a small world” to the Haunted Mansion to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Including rare interviews with Walt Disney, each episode also features exclusive interviews with Disney Legends and dozens of past and present Imagineers, including Bob Weis, Jeanette Lomboy, Kim Irvine, Scott Trowbridge, Tom Fitzgerald, Scot Drake, Carmen Smith, Joe Rohde, and others who divulge insider secrets of the parks and how iconic Disney attractions were brought to life. Revealed for the first time are the wild stories of how the Haunted Mansion was filled with 999 happy haunts, how the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ transformed into Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! (while defying gravity in the process) and why Space Mountain took so long to launch.
The following episodes will be available on Disney+ on Wednesday, July 21:
Jungle Cruise: Join a skipper for the story behind Jungle Cruise, and try to spot the backside of water! When Walt decided to create the original immersive attraction, he tasked Imagineers with building a river AND the mechanical animals to populate it.
Haunted Mansion: Welcome, foolish mortals, to the Haunted Mansion — enter if you dare! When Walt Disney developed the attraction, he didn’t specify if it should be funny or scary, and so it became a perfect blend of both.
Star Tours: Lightspeed to Endor! A long time ago…Disney created Star Tours, a thrilling simulator attraction that takes guests to a galaxy far, far away. It inspired Imagineers to build a whole new land — Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: Discover the ups (and downs!) of creating this gravity-defying attraction set in the eerie world of Rod Serling’s renowned “Twilight Zone” television series. Then hold on tight as Imagineers reimagine the Disney California Adventure Park version as Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!
Space Mountain: You’re about to hear the story of Space Mountain in T-minus 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…launch! Walt’s vision of an attraction that simulates space travel was a design challenge Imagineer John Hench tackled head on, creating a signature structure in Disney Parks around the world.
“Behind the Attraction” is executive produced by Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, Brian Gewirtz, and Kevin Hill from Seven Bucks Productions and Brian Volk-Weiss, Robin Henry, and Cisco Henson from The Nacelle Company. Brian Volk-Weiss directs the series. Check out the official trailer for Behind the Attraction below:

Oh la la, new Minnie ears have appeared! This time it’s a brand new pair of Black and Gold Minnie Ears, which are absolutely gorgeous! Black and Gold ears are such a versatile Disney-style accessory, so I always love when they release an updated pair.
This pair has a similar style to the new rainbow ears launched this summer, with soft velvet ears sprinkled with small rhinestones. The bow has antique gold sequins, but if you look closely there are also tine black polka-dots mixed in too! I love the subtle touch of the dots!
Mark Ruffalo Congratulates Scarlett Johansson on the Successful Premiere of Marvel Studios’ ‘Black Widow‘. After surpassing $215 Million at the box office and becoming the fourth highest-grossing film over opening weekend for Marvel Studios, fellow Avenger Mark Ruffalo took to social media to congratulate his “birthday twin” Scarlett Johansson on the massive success of Black Widow.
Ruffalo posted a photo of him and Scar Jo backstage of Avengers: Infinity War along with the caption, “Congratulations to my birthday twin, Scarlett Johansson & everyone a part of #BlackWidow for a great opening weekend! Have you seen the film yet? No spoilers, but let me know what you thought of the movie ?”
The Walt Disney Company announced this week that Marvel Studios’ Black Widow debuted to an estimated total of more than $215M globally this weekend, including $80M in domestic box office, $78M in the international box office, and over $60M in Disney+ Premier Access consumer spend globally.
The film garnered several notable achievements in its opening weekend, including:
Black Widow is the largest domestic box office opening since the COVID-19 pandemic began and the largest domestic opening weekend since Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker in December 2019.
The combined theatrical and Disney+ Premier Access opening makes Black Widow the only film to surpass $100M in domestic consumer spend on opening weekend since the start of the pandemic.
It is the highest domestic opening weekend for a Marvel Cinematic Universe origin story after Black Panther and Captain Marvel.
