Disneyland Resort Raises Ticket Prices Starting Today

Starting today the Disneyland Resort will be raising prices on most ticket options. Typically this happens each year, however, it was also announced today that the Disney Genie+ Service would also be seeing a price increase.

Here is a breakdown of the new Disneyland Ticket Options from the Disneyland website:

One Day/One Park tickets prices:

Tier 0 – $104 (this has been the low price since 2019)
Tier 1 – $114
Tier 2 – $129
Tier 3 – $144
Tier 4 – $159
Tier 5 – $169
Tier 6 – $179 (a $15 increase over the previous high price)

*Add park hopping for $65, a $5 increase from last year

Multi-day tickets price increase:

2-Day / One Park Per Day – $285 (a $30 increase or $15 more per day)
3 Day / One Park Per Day – $360 (a $30 increase or $10 more per day)
4 Day / One Park Per Day – $395 (a $35 increase or $8.75 more per day)
5 Day / One Park Per Day – $415 (a $35 increase or $7 more per day)

*Add Multi-day ticket Parkhopping for $60, no change from last year

Disneyland Resort Parking

General Parking will remain at $35
Preferred Parking will go up $5 to $50
Hotel Valet Parking will increase from $15 to $65

Price Increase on Disney+ Genie Service at Walt Disney World and Disneyland

Starting today guests at Disney World and Disneyland will see a price increase on the Disney Genie+ Service.

Price Increase on Disney Genie+ Service at Walt Disney World and Disneyland

Disney Genie+ service continues to be very popular among our guests. As we continue to manage the strong demand we are seeing for this service, we are introducing variable pricing for Disney Genie+, beginning Tuesday, Oct. 11th.

At Disneyland Resort, Disney Genie+ will now be $25 per day when purchased in advance as an add-on with a new ticket or vacation package. Single-day purchases for Disney Genie+ through the Disneyland app will begin at $25 per day and may vary by date, based on demand.

Additionally, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure at Disney’s California Adventure Park is now part of Disney Genie+, providing guests with even more options to choose from when using this service.

At Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Genie+ will also vary in price based on the date a guest is visiting. Similar to theme park tickets, throughout the year, prices may be lower on less busy days and higher during peak periods like Thanksgiving and Christmas.

For example, now through the end of October, prices will be $15 per Guest, per day on less busy dates, $22 on some of our busier dates, and somewhere in between on other dates (plus tax; prices are subject to change beyond October).

As a reminder, single-day purchases of Disney Genie+ at Walt Disney World Resort are only available directly through the My Disney Experience app on the guest’s date of visit.

Disney World Welcomes over 100 Cast Members to Disney Traditions Team

Over 100 Cast Members have joined the Disney Traditions Team at Walt Disney World Resort and Disney’s Vero Beach Resort! Disney Traditions is a cherished orientation experience for new Cast Members, marking the first official step in their Disney careers.

After Cast Members are hired, they go through an onboarding class called “Traditions” that covers a whole host of topics. This is an unforgettable experience for all! Today, select Cast Members joined the Disney Traditions Team and will soon get to train the next batch of Cast Members.

Cape May Cafe Character Breakfast has increased in price

Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort offers a fun character breakfast! Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast is available for guests to enjoy, however, the price has increased.

The character breakfast is a buffet and previous prices were $25 per adult and $14 per child. The adult price has increased to $45 and the child price has increased to $29. That’s quite the price hike!

The Disney World website describes Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast as:

“Minnie Mouse and some of her friends are gathering at Cape May Cafe to start the day with Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast. They’re dressed up in their beachy best—and you’re invited to join in the fun.

Create unforgettable memories as you get autographs and photos during a delightful meal. Enjoy a spread of flavorful breakfast favorites like Mickey Mouse waffles, scrambled eggs, seasoned potatoes, sausage, oatmeal and more.”

Geena Davis Would return for the Beetlejuice 2

“Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!” There’s some hope on the horizon for seeing the possibility of a Beetlejuice 2 movie! Even actress Geena Davis is interested in returning for it.

Geena Davis played Barbara Maitland in the 1988 original, who, along with her husband Adam (Alec Baldwin) tries to scare away the new owners of their house with the help of bio-exorcist Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton).

In a PEOPLE exclusive, Davis said she “would of course like to revisit” the world of Beetlejuice. “I want to play every character I’ve ever played again,” Davis added.

Confirmed by Deadline, Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B has boarded Beetlejuice 2, which brings a new sense of life to a project that has long been in the works at Warner Bros. Both Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder are expected to reprise their roles as Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz, respectively. The project could reportedly film as early as 2023.

Even though it hasn’t officially been through the movie studios’ greenlight committee yet, the news is hopeful with Brad Pitt’s production company taking an interest.

Beetlejuice is a classic film from director Tim Burton in which the spirits of a deceased couple are harassed by an unbearable family that has moved into their home, hiring a malicious spirit of the same name to drive them out. Michael Keaton played the title role in the original, with Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Catherine O’Hara, Winona Ryder and more rounding out the cast.

Excitement will be in the air again this year as Night of a Million Lights returns in a spectacular new venue – Island H2O Water Park.

From November 11, 2022, through January 1, 2023, come to enter a dazzling winter wonderland illuminated with millions of lights, and filled with festive family activities and live entertainment for a one-of-a-kind, fully immersive holiday experience.

Named by USA Today as the “Number One Thing To Do In December In Orlando” when it debuted in 2020, Night of a Million Lights is a lightscape of spectacular sparkle and mesmerizing aquatic dancing lights, where guests of all ages can create priceless holiday memories – and all for a wonderful cause.

Night of a Million Lights at Island H2O Water Park benefits Give Kids The World Village, an 89-acre, a whimsical nonprofit resort that provides critically ill children and their families from around the world with magical week-long wish vacations at no cost.

How can I purchase tickets?

What age range is considered a child ticket?
Children ages 3-17 are eligible for a child ticket. Tickets are not required for children ages 2 and under. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Oscar Isaac Teases Moon Knight’s Return

We certainly haven’t seen the last of Moon Knight! Oscar Isaac has hinted his MCU character still has a part to play in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

At New York Comic-Con this weekend, the actor confirmed the character will return in some shape, way, or form. “All I can say is that it’s not the last we’ve heard of the system that is Moon Knight,” Isaac said during his spotlight panel.

This comes as Isaac previously teased a Season 2 of the series, potentially making mention of the team working “in Cairo,” though it was unclear how serious the actor was being at the time.

From that, the one thing to wonder though is when Isaac mentions that this character’s story is not done, is he talking about Season 2 of his streaming series, or is it the character showing up elsewhere in the MCU?

Fan Favorite House of Mouse still Missing from Disney+

Disney Plus has a large portion of movies and TV shows from Disney’s catalog from over the years. For some reason, one show, in particular, remains absent, House of Mouse.

The original animated series, House of Mouse, originally aired from 2001 to 2003.

The basic premise of the show focuses on Mickey Mouse and his friends operating a dinner theater club in downtown ToonTown. Considered a popular venue by the residents, the club is frequented by a host of characters from Disney animated properties – every character from cartoons and films produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios are featured in the episodes.

The series was chock full of pop culture jokes, many tied to Disney themselves, cartoons specially made for the series, and full of beloved characters throughout Disney’s animated history. A show like House of Mouse would be perfect for the average Disney fan browsing Disney Plus.

We think there’s a very good chance that the show will be added to Disney+ at some point in the future given the recent additions in October. Several classic titles have finally joined the Disney+ streaming library, so it’s giving us hope that we will see this cartoon soon.

Although House of Mouse is not currently available for binge-watching, there are other cartoons featuring Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and all of their friends.

Let’s hope Disney adds this beloved animated series soon to the streaming service!

Annual Passholder Entrance Returns to the Magic Kingdom

The Annual Passholder Entrance has once again returned to the Magic Kingdom! Starting today APs have their own entrance to the Magic Kingdom.

It has been a little while since we have seen the Annual Passholder line in the Magic Kingdom but it is a welcome return for APs.

Along with the return of the Annual Passholder Entrance, Disney has started to mail out Annual Passholder Magnets which we received last week.

New Ratatouille Minnie Ears Debut At Walt Disney World!

If you are are what you wear, i only want to wear the good stuff, like these Ratatouille Minnie Ears!

We spotted these beautiful Minnie ears at World of Disney in Disney Springs for $39.99. They are a great pair to wear for Epcot Food & Wine Festival and a unique pair to add to your collection.

The ears are made to look like wheels of cheese, with one featuring strawberries and the other Chef Remy with grapes. Delicious!

The headband and bow feature a white and red gingham pattern with a gold Chef Remy hat and whiskers charm in the middle. The back of the ears feature the same strawberries and grapes as on the front.
