Pop Star Aaron Carter dead at 34

Aaron Carter was tragically found dead this morning in the bathtub of his Lancaster, California home at around 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Carter reportedly drowned, and while detectives are currently investigating, there’s no indication that there was foul play.

“I have no comment at this time, a statement will be released shortly by the family and management. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time,” manager Taylor Helgeson said in a statement.

Aaron Carter was the little brother of BackStreet Boys superstar Nick Carter. He released his first album at 9 years old and found fame with pop songs like “I Want Candy” and “Crush on You,” is survived by his 11-month-old son, Prince.

The pop star made his acting debut on Disney Channel’s Lizzie McGuire. He also performed an exclusive concert for Disney Channel and later danced on ABC’S Dancing With the Stars.
