New Walt Disney World Parks Starbucks Tumblers Are Pure Magic

Walt Disney World Parks Starbucks Tumblers

New Walt Disney World Parks Starbucks Tumblers Are Pure Magic

If you’re the kind of person who can’t start a rope drop marathon without a venti caffeine fix, Disney’s latest drop is a must have for you. We’re looking at four brand-new, stainless steel Starbucks tumblers, one for each Walt Disney World park, and honestly, they’ve leveled up the detail game this time around. At $54.99 each, these aren’t just cups; they’re basically tiny, portable scrapbooks of your favorite park memories.

Magic Kingdom: Pink & Pixie Dust

Let’s start with the Magic Kingdom tumbler, a vibrant bubblegum pink covered in rainbow artwork that manages to cram in almost every iconic sight. You’ve got Mickey rocking his best Dapper Dans stripes, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure representing Frontierland, and even deep cuts like Sunny Eclipse from Tomorrowland. The real magical detail? The straw topper is a tiny, orange carousel horse with a pink saddle. It’s sparkly, it’s chaotic, and it’s pure Magic Kingdom.

EPCOT: Blue Skies and Figment Vibes

For the EPCOT fans, we’re looking at a sleek light blue base that celebrates the “Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow” with a heavy focus on food and imagination. You’ve got Chef Mickey and Chef Remy (obviously), but the star of the show is Figment with a paintbrush in hand. The art wraps around World Showcase icons like the Japan pagoda and Mexico’s temple, all tied together by a Monorail gliding on a rainbow. The straw topper is, you guessed it, a sculpted Figment, making this the ultimate accessory for your next Flower & Garden or Food & Wine crawl.

Animal Kingdom: Aqua Adventure

The Animal Kingdom tumbler comes in a gorgeous aqua shade that perfectly matches the park’s wild energy. This one features Safari Mickey with a toucan pal, but the artwork goes deep into the details. Look closely and you’ll spot everything from the Tree of Life to a Banshee soaring over Expedition Everest. Even Kevin from Up makes an appearance! Speaking of Kevin, she’s also perched on top of the straw as a topper, making this the most colorful way to stay hydrated while trekking through Pandora.

Hollywood Studios: Neon Coral Nostalgia

Finally, the Hollywood Studios tumbler is a neon coral showstopper that screams “Golden Age of Hollywood.” It features Sorcerer Mickey right in the center, flanked by everything from the Hollywood Tower Hotel to the Millennium Falcon. It’s got a great mix of old and new, featuring Kermit with his banjo right alongside Maleficent’s dragon form. But the absolute winner here is the straw topper: it’s a smiling Gertie the Dinosaur with a dusting of snow on her back. It’s a niche, local-favorite detail that makes this specific tumbler a must-have for the Studios superfans.

Which one are you getting? We are thinking all four!

Wonderland Tea

A Personal Touch from the Start

The experience is incredibly personal from the moment you sit down. Before you even make your selection, you are invited to smell a variety of tea leaves. Each one offers a unique aroma and flavor profile, allowing you to truly find the blend that speaks to you. It turns the simple act of ordering a drink into a sensory journey!

Wonderland Tea

Disney frames the Garden View Lounge experience as a sophisticated yet playful affair, emphasizing the use of premium Twinings tea selections. The official description highlights the versatility of the service, noting that it is “teatime as it should be” for guests of all ages.

@chipandcompany

Happy National Tea Day! 🍵 We took a break from the park crowds to head over to the Grand Floridian for their iconic afternoon tea service. Between the seasonal blends and that Devonshire cream, it’s the perfect midday escape. Pro tip: Make sure you book your dining reservations early, as this experience fills up fast! Which tea would you choose? 🍓🥪 #DisneyDining #GrandFloridianTeaRoom #NationalTeaDay

♬ The Mad Tea Party – The Unbirthday Song (From “Alice In Wonderland”) (Karaoke Version) – Urock Karaoke

While adults can enjoy traditional or plant-based services, younger visitors are treated to a specialized children’s experience, all unified by a whimsical Alice in Wonderland theme. By blending “elegant” and “enchanting” elements with classic offerings like scones and exquisite pastries, Disney positions this as an “utterly unforgettable” destination for those seeking a touch of royal charm.

IMG

Tea History with a Legend

We had the incredible honor of meeting Steven Twining, a tenth-generation member of the famous Twinings tea family. Learning the deep history behind tea production and the many health advantages of drinking it added a layer of sophistication to the afternoon that we won’t soon forget. It’s not every day you get to learn about your brew from a literal legend in the industry!

Wonderland Tea

Whimsy in Wonderland

The theme of the experience is purely “whimsical,” drawing inspiration from Alice in Wonderland. Fans of the classic film will love the subtle touches throughout the room and the beautifully themed treats. From the savory finger sandwiches to the sweet desserts, everything is crafted with the Queen of Hearts in mind. Just remember: we have to paint the roses red!

Wonderland Tea

The Perfect Setting

The ambience of the Garden View Lounge remains quaint, quiet, and easy to enjoy. It is a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the Magic Kingdom just a monorail ride away.

Wonderland Tea

Who is it for?

As they say in Wonderland, “There’s always time for tea!” and you certainly “don’t want to be late for a very important date.” This experience is a top-tier recommendation for:

  • Mother’s Day: A sophisticated way to celebrate the moms in your life.
  • Mother & Daughter Time: Creating core memories over scones and finger sandwiches.
  • Friends’ Getaway: The ultimate spot for a “little afternoon tea” and a catch-up session.

Be sure to check out our photos below for a full look at the tea selection, the food, and the beautiful setting!

CHOC Walk in the Park has become a cherished community tradition that unites individuals, companies, schools, and more to support pediatric health, raising over $46 million to support healthcare, research, and education for children in need. Your participation ensures that every child receives world-class medical care, regardless of their family’s ability to pay.

Last year, the Magic Key team was a force to be reckoned with, boasting over 300 participants who raised a staggering $80,000! This year, the goal is to dream even bigger and show the community the true heart of the Magic Key family.

While the real reward is helping local children, the Disneyland Resort has a few “thank you” gifts for the Magic Key team’s top supporters:

  • Rally Towel: All team members who reach the required fundraising minimum by event check-in will receive a special Magic Key CHOC Walk rally towel.

Walt Disney Imagineering Shares Behind the Scenes Look at Muppets Coaster, Lakeshore Lodge and Big Thunder Mountain

First Look at Muppets Coaster, Lakeshore Lodge, and Big Thunder Updates

In the premiere episode of Pardon Our Pixie Dust on YouTube, Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) pulled back the curtain on the magic currently unfolding at Walt Disney World. Fans were treated to an exclusive look at construction milestones and early development for the highly anticipated Muppets Coaster, the serene Lakeshore Lodge, and the major refurbishments happening at Big Thunder Mountain.

WDI Portfolio Executive Creative Producer Michael Hundgen kicks off the new video series with a playful “Pardon our pixie dust,” setting the stage for an insider’s tour of the parks. The update begins with Senior Construction Manager Colin Happ at the Lakeshore Lodge site, where he reveals the massive scale of the project—noting that approximately 800 tons of steel have already been erected to bring the new resort to life.

Stepping inside the structure, Happ guided viewers through the Lakeshore Lodge corridors to provide a first look at a guest room in progress. With the fundamental “rough-in” work now finished, the focus has shifted to the aesthetic stage, as crews begin applying paint and final finishes to the interiors.

The spotlight then shifted to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where Associate Set Director Ben Conway offered an exciting first look at the props coming to the Muppets Coaster. A standout highlight of the retheming is a tribute to Muppet history: a statue of Gonzo inspired by his appearance in the original 1979 classic, The Muppet Movie.

The retheming of the Muppets Coaster is leaning heavily into the group’s signature brand of chaos. Conway showcased a medley of props now filling the space, including rubber chickens, vintage cameras, and piles of colorful feather boas. Fans will also spot a special nod to a holiday favorite: the iconic hat Gonzo wore while portraying Charles Dickens in The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992). Reflecting on the project’s unique demands, Conway joked that he never expected feather boas to be a primary focus of his career, “but here we are.”

Over at Magic Kingdom, Associate Artisan Sculptor Jabe Jones shared a rare look at the ongoing transformation of Big Thunder Mountain. Though the “Wildest Ride in the Wilderness” has been closed for over a year, the mountain is coming back to life with freshly poured concrete designed to look centuries old.

Once the base is set, artisans meticulously hand-carve cracks, embed pebbles, and use specialized rock templates to mimic natural geological formations. To ground the scene in the ride’s mining lore, the team adds the final “story” details: vintage wagon wheel tracks and donkey footprints pressed directly into the earth.

Authorities say the guest, identified as George Navarro, asked a Team Member for a pen and then became upset during the interaction. The employee reported that Navarro struck him in the back while he was assisting another guest, causing pain. An off-duty Orange County Sheriff’s deputy was alerted by security and made the arrest on-site.

Deputies noted that Navarro showed signs of alcohol impairment and admitted to drinking prior to the incident. In his account, Navarro claimed the contact may have been accidental and said he felt disrespected during the interaction. He also made concerning statements about his military background, suggesting he was capable of causing more harm. Despite the conflicting accounts, he was taken into custody without further incident.

Disney Parks Are Harnessing Solar Power to Fuel the Magic Around the World

Next time you are strolling down Main Street or racing through a galaxy far, far away, there is a good chance the sunshine above you is doing more than just keeping things warm. Disney is quietly turning sunlight into pixie dust thanks to massive solar investments across its parks, with Walt Disney World leading the charge in a big way.

How Disney Powers the Magic at Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line

On a sunny Florida day, Walt Disney World’s growing network of solar facilities can now generate up to 100 percent of the resort’s daytime energy needs. That is not just powering rides and snacks, it is fueling four theme parks, two water parks, and dozens of resort hotels. The newest addition is a massive 484-acre solar facility in Central Florida, joining the fan-favorite Hidden Mickey solar array near EPCOT and several other installations that collectively turn Florida sunshine into serious energy output.

How Disney Powers the Magic at Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line

The numbers behind Disney’s solar push are pretty wild. The energy generated annually is equivalent to removing nearly 33,000 gas-powered cars from the road, powering 19,000 homes for a year, or even charging 15 billion smartphones. It is a reminder that behind the scenes, Disney’s magic is getting a sustainability upgrade that guests may not even notice while grabbing their next snack or Lightning Lane.

How Disney Powers the Magic at Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line

This solar story is not just a Florida thing. Out west at Disneyland Resort, solar panels help power attractions like Radiator Springs Racers, while expanded EV charging and electric fleet vehicles are helping cut down emissions. Across the globe, parks are getting in on the action too, from solar-covered parking at Disneyland Paris to rooftop panels at Tokyo Disney Resort and large-scale installations at Shanghai Disney Resort.

Even island destinations like Disney Castaway Cay are using solar arrays to help generate power, proving that whether you are sailing the seas or exploring the parks, Disney is working to make those experiences a little greener.

So while you are soaking up the sunshine on your next Disney day, just remember, the parks are soaking it up too. And in this case, that sunshine is doing a lot more than lighting up Cinderella Castle.

Kim Irvine and Leota Toombs Honored with First Mother Daughter Main Street Window at Disneyland

Kim Irvine and Leota Toombs Make History with Joint Disneyland Window Dedication

After more than 50 years of shaping the magic at Walt Disney Imagineering, Kim Irvine has been honored alongside her mother, Leota Toombs, with a dedicated window on Main Street, U.S.A. This historic tribute—the first of its kind for a mother-daughter duo—coincides perfectly with Kim’s 2025 retirement during Disneyland’s milestone 70th anniversary.

In her role as Executive Creative Director of Walt Disney Imagineering’s Anaheim office, Kim Irvine was the creative force behind the aesthetic identity of nearly every Disneyland project, from color palettes to intricate interior designs. She viewed Imagineering not just as a job, but as a stewardship of Walt Disney’s original vision. “Our Guests own this place,” Kim often remarked. “This is their park. We just take care of it for them.” This morning, April 21, that stewardship was immortalized during a formal window dedication ceremony in Disneyland Park.

The tribute is now part of the Main Street skyline, nestled on the façade of the Crystal Arts shop. Positioned just above the storefront signage, the window is elegantly framed by vibrant stained-glass floral accents. The gold-leaf lettering on the glass reads:

“Crystal Ball Glass Co.

Summoning the spirits of creativity…on windows, doors and…regions beyond!

This dedication marks a historic milestone as the first-ever mother-daughter window in the history of Main Street, U.S.A. Following tradition, the honorees were presented with a personal replica of the display, which features custom theming that honors their unique contributions. For Kim, that legacy is inextricably linked to her mother, Disney Legend Leota Toombs. Leota is most famously remembered as the face of the Haunted Mansion’s Madame Leota and the voice of the “Ghostess” (Little Leota) at the attraction’s exit. Kim famously carried this torch in 2001, stepping into her mother’s iconic role to record new incantations for the debut of Haunted Mansion Holiday.
