Jeremy Renner’s Family Issues Statement After Actor’s Accident

Earlier today it was released that Marvel Actor Jeremy Renner was rushed to a local Reno Nevada Hospital after the actor suffered a traumatic injury during a snow plowing accident near his home.

Officers responded at 9 am on Sunday to a “traumatic injury” in the area of Mount Rose Highway in Reno, according to a news release from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office.

According to a spokesperson for the actor, Jeremy Renner suffered “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries” and “remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition.”

His family issued a statement after the outpouring of love and support from his fans online.

“Jeremy’s family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve, and the Carano and Murdock families,” a statement from his spokesperson read. “They are also tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”

The “Hawkeye” actor has so far required two surgeries to address extensive injuries he sustained in the accident, a source close to the actor told CNN.

A video has been captured of Jeremy being taken by helicopter to the local hospital.

New Disney100 and More Magicband+ Designs Now Available Online

A new selection of MagicBand+ designs are now available for guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel! The designs include a new Disney100 band, a Donald Duck design, a Stitch design, and more. Take a look!

The Disney100 MagicBand+ is a gray band with white lettering, art deco designs and characters in their platinum outfits. The icon features the Disney100 logo and the band is available for a special pre-arrival price of $34.99.

The Donald Duck MagicBand+ is a dark blue band featuring angry images of Donald Duck himself. The center icon is light blue with “Donald Duck” written in silver and Donald’s head. This band is available for $34.99.

The new Dumbo MagicBand+ is light gray and features different images of Dumbo. The center icon has the movie logo topped with Dumbo’s hat and magic feather. This band is also $34.99.

Walt Disney Company New Losses Total $123 Billion in 2022 and a 44% Stock Drop. 2022 has turned into Disney and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Year. Don’t fret too much though, this wasn’t the worst year ever, just the second worst year ever. There were some positives to take away. Even if you have to look really deep into the well to find them.

In 1974, Disney shares dropped 54%, which marks the worst year for the mega-corporation. Not only was this the second worst in Disney’s history, but also the second worst drop of any company for the 2022 year that was. $123 billion of its market value evaporated in 2022.

Even though Parks like Walt Disney World and Disneyland did better than expected and broke record profits, other portions of The Walt Disney Company failed miserably, with a huge sell-off in the 4th-Quater due to lower-than-expected profit, which led to the firing of Bob Chapek as Disney CEO.

Even the rehiring of Bob Iger as Disney CEO is not helping matters at all. Nor is the successful run of Avatar The Way of Water at the Box Office this holiday season. Disney Stocks have not rebounded, except for the first few days after the Bob -vs- Bob Saga started.

People are blaming the “Wokeness” of Disney and the major fight with Gov. Ron DeSantis over the “Don’t Say Gay Bill”, but that cannot actually be established as a root cause. If that were the case Disney World Parks would be suffering. Box Office receipts have also been down drastically for the year also, which again isn’t the main issue.

Could it be a market correction as the whole market has been headed down? As for anything more political than that, we are nowhere close to being able to judge that. We are a Disney Blog and not The Wall Street Journal.

Disney Artist Dave Perillo Shares Sneak Peek at New Space Mountain Artwork coming to Festival of the Arts 2023. Art and foodie lovers, mark your calendars! The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts returns on Jan. 13 and runs through Feb. 20, 2023, at the Walt Disney World Resort. The festival is a global celebration of visual, culinary, and performing arts where guests can find inspiration and discover their own creativity in fun ways across the park. Artist Dave Perillo just gave us a second sneak peek at some of the art he is bringing to the Annual festival.

Epcot International Festival of the Arts is just two weeks away, so here’s a look at another one of my brand-new pieces that will be debuting there…This one is titled “A Race Through the Cosmos”, I decided to revisit Space Mountain, one of the original attraction prints I did for Wonderground Gallery.

The Festival runs January 13th thru February 20th, 2023 and I’ll be there in both January and February doing signings at the Odyssey building. Swipe to see all my dates and times.

Visual art comes to life in a variety of ways at the festival, too. More than 100 Disney and visiting artists will showcase their dazzling works throughout EPCOT. Guests can spot artists at work from the Disney Artist Gallery and the WonderGround Gallery, accompanied by pieces from ACME Archives, Thomas Kinkade Studios, Wyland Galleries and POP Gallery.

Normal Version of Guardians Galaxy Cosmic Rewind Returns to EPCOT. Yesterday we decided to make EPCOT our first park of the New Year. Of course, we got our virtual queue at 7:00 AM and rode Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind hoping it had been returned to its original version, we were out of luck.

Until today, when the ride has officially returned to the 6 songs we are used to, and finally, that horrible Holiday Music Overlay is gone. Run Run Rocket Holiday song just does not do justice to Disney’s newest coaster, it was bland at best, and at worst it was lazy. No other theming was done for the ride, just a song.

Debuting on November 25th and running through December 30th, 2022, prepare to save the galaxy with Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot as they blast off on a cosmic adventure — now with a festive holiday twist.

Begin your adventure by touring the Galaxarium—a planetarium-like exhibition showcasing the similarities and differences between Xandar and Earth’s galaxies. You’ll even get to discover some of the incredible wonders of Xandar and learn about their technology.

This season, the Guardians are trading in their classic hits playlist for a mash-up of seasonal jams at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Blast off to the tune of an awesome holiday single, bringing joy to Xandar and Terra, too.

Ron Howard says Star Wars Solo Sequel not a Priority

Any hopes that ‘Solo’ fans held about an future sequel cooled-off faster than temperatures at night on the planet of Hoth. Ron Howard who directed ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ addressed rumors of a sequel by saying, “”The only discussion that I’m aware of about a sequel for Solo is coming from the fans at this point…I don’t think it’s a Lucasfilm priority, as I understand it.”

This statement is not surprising given Solo’s performance at the box-office. The film struggled bringing in $36 million over opening weekend, falling woefully short of expectations for a Star Wars theatrical film. Another origin story, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story raked in $155 million during its 2016 debut weekend. Solo would eventually gross $393.2 million worldwide.

Donald Glover had hoped to reprise his role, playing Lando Calrissian in a spinoff series, but producer Kathleen Kennedy walked back any and all speculation of that project. Lucasfilm has yet to commit to any further projects featuring characters from the film itself.

Despite the bleak outlook on future Solo films, Howard hasn’t completely given up hope saying, “The folks from Lucasfilm love the fans and really do listen, so I would never say never. But I’m not aware of any concrete plans right now to extend the story or deal with that particular set of characters.”

Do you want to see Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clark, and Donald Glover return for another ‘Solo’ project? It seems logical that Solo could fly again on the streaming service Dinsey+ as a viable alternative to a theatrical release. After all, given the critical acclaim that Andor received, fans are hungry for more stories in the Star Wars universe. If Ron Howard is busy, his daughter could certainly take the helm of a potential series. Let us know in a comment how you feel about ‘Solo’ and it future prospects.

Black Panther Wakanda Forever Disney+ Release Date

The highest-grossing female-driven superhero film of all time has received its release date on the streaming service Disney+, and it’s sooner than you expected. Black Panther 2 recently became the highest grossing super hero film of all time with a female lead topping films like Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, Birds of Prey, and Black Widow with a whopping 429 million in box office receipts.

Black Panther was expected to have a 45-day theatrical window and then move to Disney+ following previous Marvel films; however, 2022 came and went without a firm date for the blockbuster movie to join the catalog of Marvel content on the streaming service.

UPDATE: Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever will release on Feb 1, 2023

This would set the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever arrival on Disney+ approximately one month prior to the theatrical release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which is set to drop in theaters, Feb 17, 2023. Other amazing MCU titles such as Thor: Love and Thunder, Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, Werewolf by Night and the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday special are all now streaming on the flagship digital platform.
