We found them at Magic Kingdom for $34.99 and the headband is also available online at shopDisney.

Gorgeous padded pink ears with blue beads and Mickey icons plus a blue beaded bow! So pretty and unique, definitely a must have in your collection.

The ear hat is lavender with yellow and purple beads and Mickey icons plus a purple beaded bow, so cute and girly! This hat is now available online yet but we hope to see it there very soon.

Magic Kingdom Refurbishing Seating Area Outside of the Plaza Restaurant. There is a lot of complaining in comments sections about “How Dirty Disney is” trash is overflowing, a loose wrapper was blowing in the wind, and the roof of a building next to a tree in the Florida weather was dirty. Most of the come from people who just want to gripe about Disney, and the person may have been in the worst place at the wrong time.

Disney themselves actually try to take care of the parks and keep them updated and clean. It is normally the little things that get overlooked and when it comes to maintenance, this is truly the case, whether it is replacing rugs, or a cast member picking up a piece of trash.

At The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, this is the case, the outside seating area has been cleaned up. Well, the chairs have. New chairs, cleaned up chairs, reupholstered chairs. The seating area over time has had chair fabric rip, or holes have appeared over time. Now it all looks fresh and clean.

Disney Begins Cleaning Tron Lightcycle Run Ahead of Opening. Over the past few weeks, other Disney blogs decided it would be great to rip Disney for how “Dirty” the outside roofs and awnings have become. Never mentioning how much rain we get here in central Florida, between the rain and wind, things get dirty, and when the surface is white, it looks doubly worse.

With construction and landscaping going on in Tomorrowland at the Tron Lightcycle/ Run coaster, everything looks dirty right now, but that is changing as crews are going through the buildings and power washing them now. We would imagine that the Tron Canopy will be power washed also as this area is about to have the eyes of the world on it for the grand opening of Disney’s newest Ride.

Look for the whole area surrounding Tron to be cleaned up also, meaning Space Mountain is being cleaned and apparently may have some new paint. Also, the new gift shop at Tomorrowland Light & Power refurbishment should be done also.

Tron will be opening on April 4th, 2023.

The most successful worldwide release of 2022, “Avatar The Way of Water” will become the 6th highest-grossing film worldwide today at the global box office. A new music video of The Weeknd’s original song for the film, “Nothing is Lost” (You Give Me Strength), along with featurettes highlighting cast member Sigourney Weaver and Deborah L. Scott’s costumes for the film, are below.

“Avatar: The Way of Water” has been selected as one of the year’s top films by the AFI and National Board of Review, with James Cameron and Jon Landau nominated by the Producers Guild of America (PGA) for producing the film.

Mickey’s Toontown Sign Returns to Disneyland

Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland will be reopening in March. Yesterday, Disney Parks shared on TikTok that the Mickey’s Toontown sign has returned!

Above is what the sign looked like before the area closed to undergo renovation and refurbishment.

The sign appears mostly unchanged except for the word ‘Toontown’. The letters that form the word are each themed to a different Disney character. Mickey, (what appears to be) Clarabelle Cow, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Daisy, Chip & Dale, and Minnie Mouse are the characters represented.

The population numbers at the bottom of the sign have also received an update and a new color scheme.

Mickey’s Toontown is reopening on March 8, 2023, but the new Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will be opening on January 27.

Donald’s Dine ‘n Delights is NOW OPEN at Shanghai Disney Resort

The new Donald’s Dine ‘n Delights is now open in Disneytown at the Shanghai Disney Resort. Hosted by none other than Donald Duck himself, this bistro serves up freshly baked specialty pizza made by the in-house pizza chef, over-the-top milkshakes and rich sundaes in a variety of flavors, and whimsical desserts all in a charming, Parisian-style garden setting.

Waddle on down to Disneytown and indulge in an assortment of delights from savory pizzas and steaks to over-the-top shakes — plus, you can’t miss the unique souvenir cutlery, only available at Donald’s Dine ‘n Delights.

Although Donald is clearly the star, you’ll find his friends Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Daisy, his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie — even his sometimes-nemeses Chip & Dale — represented throughout the interior. Oval framed art features the iconic group of friends prominently hung over the booths and tables, in a casual and urban sophistication atmosphere.

The “wow” moment of this new dining experience can be found in the breathtaking ceiling mural. This colorful and charming overhead display shows Donald and his friends sharing a happy moment, similar to those dining alongside friends and family at Donald’s Dine ‘n Delights.

Characters Have Returned to Pete’s Silly Sideshow. Disney surprised us last week by announcing the return of this beloved meet and greet at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in the Storybook Circus area of the Park. This was the first of two announcements about returning character interactions at Disney’s Magic Kingdom because today Disney announced the return of Ariel and Enchanted Tales with Belle.

Pete’s Silly Sideshow Meet and Greet tent, where kids of all ages can meet The Great Goofini and Astounding Donaldo on one side of the tent. On the other side of the circus tent, you can meet with Minnie Magnifique and Daisy Fortuna.

Outside the tent, you can hear Pete himself being a carnival barker over the loudspeaker welcoming in everyone. Sometimes in not the nicest way, if you stand there and listen long enough.

A Very Charming Circus

Enter Pete’s Silly Sideshow at Storybook Circus and greet some of the Big Top’s biggest stars. There’s the marvelous Minnie Magnifique and the mysterious fortune teller Daisy Fortuna.

They’re having so much fun, you may just want to join the circus yourself!

Former Disney CEO Bob Chapek Received Whopping $24 Million in 2022 and Additional $20 Million in 2023. November of 2022 will be remembered as the end of one era and the return to another era, Bob for Bob, the battle for the ages. Ok, Maybe a bit much, but it will be remembered for how crazy the change in CEO was for The Walt Disney Company. Now we are finding out just how much this change cost the company.

Variety got a hold of the proxy statement filed Tuesday and it discloses the 2022 compensation packages. Read Below for their findings

“For Disney’s fiscal year ended Oct. 1, 2022, Chapek’s compensation package included his base salary of $2.5 million; $10.8 million in stock grants; $3.75 million in stock options; a $6.75 million cash bonus; $282,762 for personal air travel; and $53,820 in other compensation.

Chapek’s severance payments, subject to him successfully completing “all of the terms of his post-employment consulting agreement” will comprise $6.53 million cash in remaining base salary through the scheduled expiration date of his amended employment agreement and about $1 million equivalent to a pro-rated target bonus for fiscal 2023, per the proxy filing. In addition, with his termination, Chapek is eligible to receive accelerated Disney stock worth $12.7 million.

The Disney board “determined that Mr. Chapek was no longer the right person to serve in the CEO role” in the months following its renewal of Chapek’s contract in June 2022, according to the company’s proxy filing Tuesday. “The significant developments and changes in the broader macroeconomic environment over this period informed how the board viewed the appropriate leader in light of the rapidly evolving industry and market dynamics. The board, therefore, concluded that, as Disney embarks on an increasingly complex period of industry transformation, Mr. Iger is best situated to lead the company while an appropriate longer-term successor is identified.”

RAVENSBURGER’S COLLECTIBLE TRADING CARD GAME DISNEY LORCANA IS TO RELEASE ITS FIRST SET, DISNEY LORCANA: THE FIRST CHAPTER, STARTING AUGUST 2023

Ravensburger, the acclaimed publisher behind award-winning board games and high-quality toys and puzzles, announced today that the first set of collectible trading card game (TCG) Disney Lorcana will release in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg starting in August 2023. Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter will feature a line-up of products and accessories featuring all-new, original illustrations of beloved Disney characters — perfect for beginner and seasoned TCG players, Disney fans, and collectors alike.

In the United States, Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter will first launch at local game stores on August 18^th, supported by a robust organized play program, and at mass retail starting on September 1^st. Attendees at Gen Con 2023 will also have an early opportunity to purchase select Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter products.

DisneyLorcana: The First Chapter will include more than 200 game cards that will be collectible via three starter decks, a gift set, booster packs, and the “Illumineer’s Trove.” To help further immerse players in the world of Disney Lorcana, themed playmats, card sleeves, deck boxes and card portfolios featuring Disney Lorcanaart will also be available at launch.

Starter decks will provide a balanced and ready-to-play game deck. Players will be able to choose from three different options that each include a specific list of 60 cards in two of the six “inks” — Amber and Amethyst, Emerald and Ruby, or Steel and Sapphire. Starter decks will also include one booster pack and game tokens. A booster pack will contain 12 randomized game cards, including one foil card and two cards with rarities of rare, super rare, or legendary.

The Illumineer’s Trove will be the ultimate introduction to Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter.
