Tiana’s Bayou Adventure New Storyline Revealed

Tiana's Bayou Adventure New Storyline Revealed
Tiana's Bayou Adventure New Storyline Revealed

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure New Storyline Revealed. In a late Friday evening development, Disney just dropped more details revealing the backstory of Tiana’s bayou Adventure coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World in late 2024. Splash Mountain is already shuttered in Disney World and we have seen the Southern Dome Salt Company take over the attraction and start work.

At a young age, Tiana developed a deep passion for cooking and began to dream of one day owning her own business. Her father, James, taught her that good food brings folks together. One of the most exciting parts of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is that we’re going to see where Tiana’s life has taken her following the success of Tiana’s Palace, a restaurant she had dreamed of owning and worked so hard to make come true.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure Storyline Revealed

Walt Disney Imagineering is creating an original, next-chapter story for Tiana. Within the attraction queue, guests will discover that she continues to grow her business with Tiana’s Foods – an employee-owned cooperative. Combining her talents with those of the local community, Tiana has transformed an aging salt mine and built a beloved brand.

The endeavor began when Tiana purchased the salt mine and the area surrounding the large salt dome it operated from. With the help of her mother Eudora, Naveen, Louis, and fellow owners of the cooperative, Tiana revived the old salt mine and the surrounding land, growing a wide array of vegetables, herbs, and spices for her recipes.

This multi-faceted enterprise has turned the aging salt mine into a space that has come alive. Complete with a boutique farm and both a working and teaching kitchen, Tiana’s Foods is where Tiana and her colleagues create all sorts of new products that they are bringing to the world, including a line of original hot sauces.

Tiana wants to give a big thanks to her family and friends and the entire community for all the support they’ve given her by throwing an amazing party during the Mardi Gras season. When it turns out there’s been a bit of a mixup with the party preparations, Tiana invites us to meet her at Tiana’s Foods to help with the missing ingredient for the party.

When we arrive, we may see that Tiana spruced up the company’s facilities with vibrant art from local artists. Food for the party is being prepared and beignets are being loaded into crates for the celebration. All kinds of preparations are underway for the journey into the bayou with Tiana, along with new and familiar friends from the animated film.

Picking up where that story left off, Tiana continues bringing people together with Tiana’s Foods, another treasured meeting place to spend time together and celebrate a diverse community. Tiana is also working with cooperative members to teach gardening and cooking to children of all ages, and inspiring other women to run successful businesses as the brand grows nationwide.

Continue following along with the Disney Parks Blog for updates relating to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, as it makes its way to Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort in 2024.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure New Storyline Revealed

Demolition Work is Underway on Splash Mountain in the Magic Kingdom

Demolition Work is Underway on Splash Mountain
Demolition Work is Underway on Splash Mountain

Demolition Work is Underway on Splash Mountain in the Magic Kingdom. All things must pass, or so the saying goes. The time for Splash Mountain to pass has come. The new landlord is remodeling immediately upon taking over the lease. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is due to open in 2024, but Disney and the Southern Dome Salt Company are already deconstructing the old Splash Mountain.

It is a sad state to see your favorite ride get ripped apart, and that is what is happening now, it is being ripped apart. In the images, you can see large holes have been put into the ride. Crews are removing theming and ripping a part of some of the tracks.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will take guests on a musical adventure inspired by the beloved story and characters from the fan-favorite film. Picking up where the film left off, guests will join Princess Tiana, Naveen and jazz-loving alligator Louis on an adventure through the bayou as they prepare to host a one-of-a-kind Mardi Gras celebration where everyone is welcome.

Along the way, guests will encounter familiar faces, make new friends and travel through the bayou to original music inspired by songs from the film as they are brought into the next chapter of Tiana’s story.

A temporary wall has been put up around the entrance of the Tomorrowland Peoplemover as Disney is working on whatever is wrong with the attraction. We think the motor for the escalator might have burned up again or something might have gotten stuck in the belt.

Cast Members are out letting people know that the Astro Orbiter is also down as well while they work on the issues.

Here is a look at more photos of the downed attractions:

Both Tomorrowland Attractions are showing as Temporarily Closed on the Disney World App.

We have also received word that Star Traders in Tomorrowland is also closed this morning, and we are unsure if the Lunching Pad will open at 10 am either…

TRON Lightcycle Run is Disney’s newest attraction in the Magic Kingdom. Set to Open on April 4th, 2023. In fact, today is the first-day cast members who work at “The Most Magical Place on Earth” get to start previews. Now, with the newest issue of Disney Twenty-Three, you can learn all about how Imagineers brought this attraction to the real world.

But wait, there’s more. The spring issue also comes with a special magnet, which you can view below, of the Mickey Mouse “Leader of the Club” Milestone Statue. This is included with Gold Membership. D23 is the first official club for fans in Disney’s nearly 100-year history.

Greetings, programs! The race is on to the opening of TRON Lightcycle / Run this spring, where users will step out of reality and into the Grid while on this exhilarating attraction at Magic Kingdom Park. In an exclusive interview, Chris Beatty, Portfolio Creative Director for Walt Disney Imagineering, prepares readers to be digitized, revealing the story and excitement that await guests. “We wanted to make sure TRON Lightcycle / Run is fun and thrilling and delivers on the heart and soul of TRON and the excitement of racing on the Grid,” Beatty says in the Spring issue of Disney twenty-three. Find out how the Imagineering team powers up on this promise through an action-packed race, cutting-edge technology, a brand-new soundtrack, and elements from the films.

The highly anticipated Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)—the continuation of the Multiverse Saga—kicks off with the release of Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania on February 17. As readers take the leap into the Quantum Realm, stars Paul Rudd (Scott Lang/Ant-Man) and Jonathan Majors (Kang the Conqueror), as well as director Peyton Reed, share big details about this microscopic universe. As Rudd tells Disney twenty-three, “This movie is bigger in every way and will play an important part in what’s going to follow in the MCU.”

TRON Lightcycle Run races across The Grid on the cover of the Spring 2023 issue of D23

From the beginning of Phase 5 to the end of an era, Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) and his band of former renegades turned rag-tag heroes reach their final chapter when Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 opens this May. New and returning cast members including Sean Gunn (Kraglin), Will Poulter (Adam Warlock), and Pom Klementieff (Mantis) give readers a first look at what’s in store for this motley crew of misfits as they finally find their “place in the universe,” share what it was like to film this concluding installment of the Guardians’ story and tease the emotional roller coaster to come.

The new issue, available exclusively to Gold Members of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club, also takes readers to Disney Parks around the world with a roundup of some of the cute and not-so-cuddly current residents at Disney’s Animal Kingdom; a journey through 40 years of Tokyo Disney Resort with a look ahead to its future; a toon-tastic tour of the exhibit highlighting Mickey Mouse’s illustrious career featured in the queue for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland Park in California; and a visit to Penny Proud’s princess party with a Disney twist on The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.

Plus, as part of Disney’s 100th anniversary and to thank D23 Gold Members for being part of Disney’s official fan club, every issue shipped to members will include a magnet featuring the Mickey Mouse “Leader of the Club” Milestone Statue, created by artist James Fauntleroy.

  • The creatures, characters, convoys, and locations—both nostalgic and new—in the Star Wars universe you can find in The Mandalorian
  • A special By the Numbers: Disney100 looking back at the beginning of The Walt Disney Company—the first in a four-part series
  • Regular features include D Society, Character Analysis, and Ask the Walt Disney Archives

Disney twenty-three is delivered directly to fans’ doorsteps and is offered exclusively to D23 Gold Members as a benefit of their membership. The latest issue will begin arriving before the end of February.

Disney Closes Part of Ye Old Christmas Shoppe in the Magic Kingdom for Refurbishment. One of the joys of walking around Liberty Square in the Magic Kingdom is Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, where you can get personalized ornaments. inside you can find Ornaments from all around Disney World, or your favorite Disney Character, along with stockings, and so much more.

The Christmas Shoppe is undergoing some refurbishments right now in the middle of the store. Where you could once use it as a small bypass and walk through the whole thing, now you have to enter either the front or the back and there is no way to walk through the middle. Walls and doors have been erected to block off the area while work is being done.

No word on exactly what Disney is working on, but we have seen past permits for upgrading the electrical system in these shops. We do not know how long the work will continue, but it should not last very long, and it will not effect your vacation in any way.

LIMIT: NOT FOUND_

Lean forward into the ultimate race of survival! Leave the real world behind and join Team Blue in an epic quest across the Grid—the dark, computerized world with no horizons from TRON. Here, there’s no limit to the excitement.

From the Big Screen to the Theme Park

In 1982, Disney made filmmaking history with TRON, the first production of its kind to mix live action with computer-generated visuals and backlit animation. This iconic film went on to inspire video games, comic books, an animated series, and the 2010 sequel TRON: Legacy—as well as this new Disney theme park attraction.

Powerline Max & Goofy Meeting Guests in Hollywood Studios. With the start of a new month, Disney always has something new to do or eat or share. This month seems extra special as a few of our favorite character meet and greets have shown up unannounced at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Powerline Max was last seen during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party, leading a parade and dancing to Powerline Hit where he danced down Main Street USA doing a routine to “Stand Out”. That was until yesterday when he showed up across the street from The Muppets in Hollywood Studios with his Dad Goofy, who is in his vacation outfit.

There is no word how long this is going to last, but the word is it is here until Valentine’s Day at the least.

Q: Where can I find Disney Characters?

A: One of the best ways to see Disney Characters is to make reservations at a restaurant with Character Dining. Character Dining meals are very popular, so book your reservations early!

Theme parks are also home to attractions and entertainment that feature Disney Characters.

Plus, you never know who you might find when you visit the parks—check the printed Guidemap for additional Character Greeting locations.
