Walt Disney Company working on Frozen, Zootopia, and Toy Story Sequels According to Bob Iger. During today’s Quarter 1 Earnings Investment call.
This is the first official word we have had from Disney that any of these movies would be coming out with sequels. Earlier last year, in 2022, Josh Gad, Idina Menzel, and Kristen Bell all had said they would love to be a part of “Frozen 3“
We all love Zootopia and were not surprised to hear about the first sequel to the 2016 Walt Disney Animation hit. The sequel that stood out was another Toy Story Sequal. Pixar just released “Lightyear” last summer to not the greatest audience response.

Iger announced that the company would be making a $5.5 billion cut in costs as part of its restructuring process which equates to about 3.2% of Disney’s workforce.
This cost-cutting is in line with statements made by Iger last year that there would be layoffs and a hiring freeze for the Walt Disney Company coming in 2024.

Evangeline Lilly Says The Wasp Needs her own Solo Movie
Evangeline Lilly recently sat spoke with Variety on the Red Carpet and expressed her desire to see her character Hope VanDine get a solo venture in the MCU. Lilly has played the character now in several Ant-Man films and other team-up films, but we have yet to see “The Wasp” fly solo, and Lilly would like to change all of that.
In the Variety interview, Lilly stated, “Well, I’m going to make a pitch that, I think it might be time for a Hope [van Dyne] spin-off. For a Wasp standalone film. Do we agree? Anybody? Going once? Going twice?”
Lilly also expressed that she feels like an “Avengers Senior” now being one of the few actors to have participated in Phase 2 and still be in the mix. Lilly added, “…when we first came into the universe it was so established with Black Widow, Iron Man, Captain America, and all the original gangsters. And we were just like these new kids on the block who were trying to earn out stripes. And now all of a sudden we’re in the center at the launching point of Phase 5, and it feels really cool.”
Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania is the third installment in the Ant-Man films and marks the official start of Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film follows Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and the Wasp (Lilly) as they journey into the Quantum Realm alongside Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer). Lovecraft Country’s Jonathan Majors will play the iconic villain Kang the Conqueror in the upcoming installment and will serve as the major villain for Phase 5.
Early response to Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has been generally positive, with some saying it is the best Marvel installment since End Game. The film releases in theaters on February 17, 2023.
The last time we saw Chip n’ Dale in their Rescue Rangers outfits was back in 2021. We are hearing word that Clarice is set to join them for Valentine’s Day.
Are you excited to see the Rescue Rangers return if only for a little while? No official end date has been announced at this time. I think they need more of a permanent location in Walt Disney World!

The video shows water starting to fill the boat near the final turn before the boats return to the loading area. You can also see guests on the boat lifting their feet to keep them from getting soaked by the water filling the bottom of the boat.
Captions on the video say the guests waited an hour before the Disneyland fire department rescued them. We aren’t sure exactly when the boat started to fill with water.
The TikTok user commented that Disney compensated the guests with $30 vouchers for socks and some Lightning Lane passes.
