Main Street Confectionery Removes 50th Anniversary from Window Display. One of the things that make Main Street USA so special, either here at Walt Disney World, or in Disneyland, is the amount of theming involved. The Window displays along all the shops walking down the streets are exceptional and filled with various goods being sold, or nods to the past. Main Street Confectionary has some amazing 3-D visual displays here at the Magic Kingdom.
On the Town Square side of Main Street Confectionary is a window display that has a rotating base, and it has a few levels branching off showing candy apples, popcorn, sweats, and cotton candy.
In the background is a candy Cinderella Castle that is very well done. Mimicking the front of the castle very well. Prior to a few days ago, there were 50th logos and a 50th symbol where the clock sits now. Disney was quick to remove it at the same time it removed the real sign from Cinderella Castle itself.
These are the small details we have come to know Disney for. I know it is sad losing the 50th Anniversary, but we give total credit to Disney Imagineering for thinking about this in-depth.
Follow your nose inside this old-fashioned candy shop, where delightful treats including character-inspired candy apples and Mickey Krispie treats are made.
Satisfy Your Sweet (or Savory) Tooth
Grab a fun snack on the go when you choose from new offerings at Main Street Confectionary. Cool off with our Glacier Bar, where you can order deliciously flavored frozen drinks––adorned with fan-favorite candies.

“The Super Mario Bros. Movie” opened in 70 overseas territories, including Mexico ($27.4 million), the U.K. and Ireland ($19.6 million), Germany ($14 million), China ($12 million), France ($10.4 million), Spain ($8.6 million) and Australia ($8.3 million).
