3 Marvel Live-Action Series Now Rumored to Release In 2023. According to new rumors, three live-action MCU series are set to debut on Disney+ this year. Originally, there were meant to be several different MCU shows arriving in 2023, but that amount whittled down.
According to a new rumor from insider KC Walsh on Twitter, Marvel Studios will release three live-action series on Disney+ in 2023. Those series are:
Secret Invasion was previously confirmed to debut on June 21. Billed as an espionage thriller in the vein of 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the show will see Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury return to Earth to take on a cabal of evil shapeshifting Skrulls who have installed themselves in the world’s governments.

Star Wars Celebration wrapped up in London, and there is a lot of exciting new animated content on the way from Lucasfilm. Panels featured filmmakers and cast of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch,” “Star Wars: Visions” Volume 2 and “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” Along with Trailer Debuts for “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” and Star Wars: Visions” Volume 2 and a Special Screening of the first two episodes of “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures.
YOUNG JEDI ADVENTURES
On Saturday, host Krystina Arielle, executive producer James Waugh and showrunner Michael Olsen welcomed fans of all ages to a special screening of “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures.” The screening began with the debut of the trailer, followed by a Q&A with Waugh and Olson. Dee Bradley Baker, the voice of a youngling named Nubs, surprised fans by introducing the screening using the voice of the animated Jedi youngling.
Set 200 years before “The Phantom Menace,” during the High Republic era, the animated series follows Jedi younglings as they study the ways of the Force, explore the galaxy, help citizens and creatures in need and learn valuable skills needed to become Jedi along the way. Produced by Lucasfilm in collaboration with Wild Canary for Disney+ and Disney Junior, “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” is executive produced by Lucasfilm’s James Waugh, Jacqui Lopez and Josh Rimes. Michael Olson (“Puppy Dog Pals”) is showrunner and executive producer.
“Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” stars Jamaal Avery, Jr. as Kai Brightstar, Juliet Donenfeld as Lys Solay, Dee Bradley Baker as Nubs, Emma Berman as Nash Durango, Jonathan Lipow as RJ-83, Piotr Michael as Master Yoda, Trey Murphy as Taborr Val Dorn and Nasim Pedrad as Master Zia.
“Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” releases on Disney+ and Disney Junior, where available, on May 4, 2023.
Later that day, fans were treated to a panel celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Emmy® award winning series “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.” Moderated by Amy Ratcliffe, the panel included executive producer Dave Filoni, VP, Animation Production Lucasfilm Animation Athena Portillo, sound editor Matthew Wood and art director Kilian Plunkett as well as cast members Dee Bradley Baker, Ashley Eckstein, Matt Lanter and James Arnold Taylor as they reminisced on how the series came to be. Dave ended the panel with the exciting announcement that he had so much fun creating the first season of “Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi,” a second season is currently in production.
STAR WARS: THE BAD BATCH
On Monday, there was a panel for the acclaimed series “Star Wars: The Bad Batch,” which just wrapped its second season as the Bad Batch continued their journey navigating the aftermath of Order 66 and the rise of the Empire.
Host Amy Ratcliffe welcomed “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” executive producer and supervising director Brad Rau, executive producer and head writer Jennifer Corbett, executive producer Athena Portillo, actors Dee Bradley Baker, who voices The Bad Batch, and Michelle Ang, the voice of Omega, to discuss highlights from the second season. Executive producers Rau, Corbett and Portillo announced that the show will return for a third and final season in 2024 to finish telling this part of the story. Fans in the room were treated to a special Season 3 teaser, sharing a sneak peek at what is to come including the return of Ming-Na Wen’s fan-favorite bounty hunter, Fennec Shand.
STAR WARS: VISIONS
To close out Star Wars Celebration’s animation panels, on Monday afternoon there was a “Star Wars: Visions” panel. The panel was filled with an abundance of reveals ahead of the series’ May 4, 2023 release– including first story details for all nine shorts, the full cast list, the trailer and key art.
The newest Volume will continue to push the boundaries of “Star Wars” storytelling, with nine new shorts from nine studios from around the globe. Employing the most captivating animation styles from a variety of countries and cultures, the second volume offers a dynamic new perspective on the storied mythos of Star Wars.
To kick off the panel, host Amy Ratcliffe introduced executive producers of the Emmy® nominated series, Josh Rimes, James Waugh and Jacqui Lopez, who discussed the success of the show’s first season and its unique concept featuring a collection of animated shorts that stretches beyond any one form of animation and serves as a broader framework for Star Wars storytelling.
After revealing the cast, Amy Ratcliffe introduced the series’ filmmakers, who took to the stage in groups of three to reveal the first details about each of their shorts.

· Nadia Darries and Daniel Clarke, co-directors of Triggerfish’s “Aau’s Song” from South Africa
Panelists shared how they incorporated their country’s history and culture into their stories and created original characters that fit into the Star Wars galaxy and cast local talent to bring these characters to life. At the end of the panel, attendees were also treated to a surprise early screening of Aardman’s short “I Am Your Mother.”

Construction on the all-new Illumination’s Minion Cafe, which is replacing the former Monsters Cafe at Universal Studios Florida, is continuing full-steam ahead. In preparation for its upcoming opening, Universal has begun advertising for the cafe’s grand opening team.
Grand Opening Team – Illumination’s Minion Cafe (Quick Service Back of House)
Steward: Responsible for washing, dishes, silverware, equipment and cooking utensils. Performs general cleaning duties in accordance to standards. This is an entry-level role in our Culinary Team.
New pay rate for Stewards: $15.00/hour
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Loads and empties dish machine, washes pots, pans, cooking utensils and equipment by hand and assists kitchen staff as needed.
Removes waste, empties and cleans garbage receptacles, removes recyclable materials and places in appropriate areas. Cleans the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, washing kitchen walls, floors and floor mats. Performs closing duties in accordance to standard.
Stocks all dishware and glassware as cleaned.
Follows MSDS standards, safety, and sanitation procedures.

QUICK SERVICE ASSOCIATE (QSR): The Quick Service Associate (QSR) position is responsible for several aspects within the various Food & Beverage venues located across our theme parks and CityWalk. These include operating the cash register and POS system, performing basic cooking and food preparation, providing exemplary guest service by greeting guests and helping with internal and external crowd control, and assisting with cleaning duties that include mopping floors, emptying trash, and wiping down tables. This Team Member will also assist in restocking condiments, bussing tables and running food.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take and fill Food & Beverage orders requested by guests
Basic preparation and/or cooking of food for various Food & Beverage venues (i.e. operating fryers to handle fried food cooked on a timer)
Provide friendly and courteous assistance to guests while answering questions and directing guests within the restaurant.
Clean tables in the dining areas in an efficient and expedient manner. Maintain floors by sweeping and mopping. Empty garbage cans, stock and replenish condiment stands and straightening chairs.

Return of the Jedi is being re-released in celebration of the films 40th anniversary.
Star Wars Celebration provided some major announcements for Star Wars fans, including new movies, new character interactions in Disney parks, and upcoming Disney+ Star Wars series. The festival also produced an announcement about one of the movies from the original trilogy: Star Wars: Return of the Jedi is coming back to theaters in celebration of its 40th anniversary.
Starwars.com cites the upcoming re-release as the first Return of the Jedi official release in 26 years. The film will be available in select theaters in the United States, the United Kingdom, and other regions.
Jabba the Hutt, speeder bikes, the Emperor, and Ewoks.
The announcement was accompanied by a new poster created by artist Matt Ferguson, who created a poster for the anniversary re-release of The Empire Strikes Back in 2020. “The artwork should tell a story, so for me it only made sense to give over the composition to those two characters,” Ferguson stated. “Will Luke be turned? Is Vader going to overcome the darkness? It’s all about the pull between good and evil.”
Screenings are slated to take place in the U.S. between April 28-May 4 and in the U.K. between April 28-May 1, 2023. No word yet on when tickets will go on sale.

The Disneyland Paris solar canopy will provide 36 GWh/year of power once completed.
Disneyland Paris has started construction on the final phase of a solar canopy plant that, when completed, will be the largest in all of Europe. The solar canopy, which is located in the parking lot, covers 11,200 parking spaces and provides the added benefit of shielding guest cars from the elements.
Once complete, the solar canopy at Disneyland Paris will produce 36 GWh/year of electricity, which is enough to power a town of 17,400 people. The canopy project is part of a larger goal Disney set to reach net-zero emissions by 2030.
Disneyland Paris is not the only Disney park that utilizes solar power. Castaway Cay obtains approximately 70% of the island’s power from the 4,320 panels housed there. At Tokyo Disney, solar panels produce enough power to fuel the iconic Dreamlights Parade with solar panels installed at nine backstage locations across the resort. The 7,500 solar panels at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort make the resort home to the largest solar panel site in Hong Kong.
Disneyland Resort obtains some of its power from the 1,400 solar panels installed atop the Radiator Springs Racers attraction. Lastly, Walt Disney World Resort houses a 48,000-panel, 5-megawatt solar array in the shape of Mickey Mouse that is located just across from EPCOT. The solar production at Walt Disney World will increase in 2024 thanks to two new solar arrays which are being constructed by two prominent Solar Development companies and local utility partners.
