Marvel Studios’ ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘ Disney+ Premiere Delayed Until 2021. Marvel Fans have been eagerly awaiting news on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier after the series missed the initial release date set for August 2020. As that time has come and gone and filming is still taking place at this time, it is now obvious that the series will not be premiering on Disney+ in 2o2o.

Disney has confirmed this news with a change to the The Falcon and the Winter Soldier listing on Disney+ showing the first season on the series premiering sometime in 2021 on the streaming platform. Though Disney has shared this easily missed detail, Marvel Studios has yet to announce any projections for the highly anticipated series premiere on Disney+.

“Following the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience—in Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.” The all-new series is directed by Kari Skogland; Malcolm Spellman is the head writer. Debuts on Disney+ August 2020.”
