Many fans think that Sebastian Stan will play Luke Skywalker in any upcoming projects but that rumor has been going around for over a year now.

Spoiler Ahead…

The season finale of the Mandalorian saw the return of Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker with a little help from some Computer Generated CGI. We won’t go into too many details on the final episode of the Mandalorian for 2020, you can read more about it here.

Mark kept the secret from everyone for over a year., but spilled the beans to fans on Saturday.

What we do know is that Robert Rodriguez is set to Executive Produce ‘The Book of Boba Fett‘ Series on Disney+. This past weekend, fans of The Mandalorian were the first to hear the news that Boba Fett was officially getting his own Star Wars series called The Book of Boba Fett which is set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ in December 2021. Other shows that are coming to Disney+ are the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, the High Republic show The Acolyte, the Rogue One prequel show Andorand two Mandalorian spin-offs, Ahsoka and Rangers of the New Republic.

As of right now the only sites that have the Luke Skywalker series rumor are gossip sites and nothing official has been posted ANYWHERE. If this is true I would much rather see a CGI Mark Hamill than some other actor play Luke. Call me a purist…

So take this news with a grain of salt you scruffy headed nerf herders.
