KFC is inviting fans to eat their way through Springfield with a colorful new menu inspired by The Simpsons, but you may need to hop across the Atlantic to try it. The limited-time collection debuted July 21 at participating KFC restaurants in Spain and Portugal, bringing together fried chicken, pink doughnuts, spicy snacks, Squishee-inspired drinks, and plenty of references pulled from the long-running animated series. The promotion will be available while supplies last.

The star of this delightfully over-the-top meal is the Rosquiburger, a fried chicken sandwich served between two doughnuts. The top doughnut is covered in bright pink frosting and rainbow sprinkles, giving it the unmistakable look of Homer Simpson’s favorite treat, while the bottom remains plain. Between the doughnuts, guests will find KFC fried chicken, bacon, cheese, and Kentucky Gold sauce. It is sweet, savory, crispy, and exactly the kind of questionable culinary decision Homer would make without a moment of d’oh-liberation.
The Springfield feast also includes Chillibites of Madness, creamy cheese bites filled with pieces of spicy red chile and inspired by Homer’s unforgettable encounter with the legendary insanity peppers. Fans can wash everything down with a blueberry Squishee-inspired drink topped with whipped cream or grab packets of Catsup sauce, a nod to Mr. Burns debating whether ketchup and catsup are two different condiments. Box meals are also available with the Rosquiburger, a side, drink, Chillibites, Catsup packets, and a limited-edition collectible while supplies last.

There is currently no word on whether the menu will make the leap from Springfield’s European outposts to KFC restaurants in the United States. For now, American fans will have to admire the pink-frosted poultry creation from afar and hope the Colonel eventually says, “Excellent.”
