Is ‘The Mandalorian’ Coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge? Disney historian Jim Hill teases that plans are in the works to introduce several characters from Star Wars: The Mandalorian series during an episode of his podcast, Disney Dish.
Hill shared with listeners that Din Djarin (The Mandalorian), Grogu (The Child), and characters like Boba Fett and Bo Katan, could soon make character appearances at the Black Spire Outpost on the planet of Batuu. Hill also hinted that The Razorcrest may replace Kylo Ren’s ship in the outpost.
Disney Parks has yet to confirm these rumors, but they could always use a boost from new character interactions to draw in visitors as shutdowns begin once again around the world due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Another bonus is that all the characters can be masked during greetings and the child would be an interactive animatronic allowing the parks to offer a safe new interaction with park guests.
Would you be excited to meet the characters from The Mandalorian? What other interactions would you like to see in the Disney Parks? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Disney Parks and Star Wars!
