A new year brings new surprises to Disney Parks and Resorts across the world, find out what is coming to Disney Parks in 2021!
Disney has shared everything that is due to open in 2021 across the world in all their Disney parks and resorts. Whilst many construction projects are still due to be completed such as Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland, at Walt Disney World we have Tron Lightcycle Run and Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser and many renovations in time for the 50th Anniversary! Likewise, at Disneyland Paris we are aware of the massive ongoing renovations coming to Walt Disney Studios including Frozen land, Star Wars land and of course the Avengers Campus!
What is Coming to Disney Parks 2021
Check out what has been confirmed by D23 and note that the exact opening dates for the following projects remain unknown but are expected to open this year:
Disneyland Resort
Disneyland Resort confirmed that Snow White’s Scary Adventures has been reimagined to Snow White’s Enchanted Wish and its due to open as soon as Disneyland Park reopens sometime this year!
Likewise, we know that Avengers Campus is opening at Disney California Adventure in near future! Enabling guests to challenge their inner Super Hero alongside The Avengers, The Guardians of the Galaxy, and more!
Walt Disney World Resort
Walt Disney World Resort is preparing for the biggest year yet- its 50th anniversary! Alongside all the magical renovations including Cinderella’s Castle, It’s A Small World and Peter Pan’s Flight, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is opening in the expanded France Pavilion at EPCOT! We are so excited to ride this wonderful attraction which we have experienced at Disneyland Resort Paris! Likewise, we are also highly excited for the new nighttime spectacular known as Harmonious, promising to be one of the largest nighttime spectaculars ever created!
What about the other attractions? As we know the new TRON Lightcycle Run continues to be constructed as we speak as well as the new Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster, known as Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Whilst we hope they open in time for the 50th anniversary, we have yet to receive official opening dates for these two attractions!
Disneyland Paris Resort
Disneyland Paris Resort is due to reopen in February this year which is wonderful. With this year comes the incredible, one-of-a-kind, reimagined Marvel themed hotel known as Hotel New York: The Art of Marvel! That’s not all, the new Cars attraction known as Cars 66 Road Trip is also due to open in 2021!
The hotel is promising to be the very first hotel dedicated solely to celebrate Marvel art and will contain the largest publicly viewable collections of Marvel artwork in the world! Likewise, the new Cars attraction coming to Walt Disney Studios Park invites guests to take a once in a lifetime trip, whereby discovering wacky roadside attractions and local natural wonders whilst meeting some of your favourite characters!
