Holiday Projections Return to Tower of Terror in Hollywood Studios

Walt Disney World has spoken and Christmas is officially here! The parks have seen a flurry of decorations, activities, food items, and merchandise come in over the last week. Entertainment is the stuff of holidays with Santa, reindeer, and cozy sweaters on Mickey and his pals. Whether you’re at the Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios, you’re bound to find some fun and festive cheer! Hollywood Studios is bringing back some favorites this year, including the Tower of Terror projections!

Once the sun goes down, it’s all systems go in Hollywood Studios. The Hollywood Tower Hotel on Sunset Boulevard becomes the Hollywood Holiday Tower Hotel, thanks to some Disney magic. Or projections. This year’s overlays include a Muppets gingerbread house, a Toy Story toy hotel, a snowy place in Arendelle, and a Dickensian village inspired by “Mickey’s Christmas Carol.” It sounds like Disney Christmas magic and we can’t wait to see all of them!

The Tower of Terror is arguably Hollywood Studios’ most popular ride, and certainly it’s the most recognizable one. While not every guest is brave enough to step onto that cursed elevator and plummet down several stories at a time, everyone can enjoy the Christmas show projected onto it’s broad canvas. The display has been a Walt Disney World favorite since 2017, and it runs continuously after dark. Catch it from now through December 30th at Hollywood Studios!
