Voice of Ahsoka Tano, Ashley Eckstein, Surprises Star Wars Fans in Hollywood Studios. Voice Actress and Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein caught wind of a frequent fan-made event called a Lightsaber Meet-Up scheduled to take place in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and couldn’t resist surprising fans! Eckstein dressed partially as Ahsoka Tano herself, along with a team of Disney cast members, approached the group as they were getting set to take the iconic group photo with everyone holding their lightsabers at the ready. Ashley interrupted the photo set up by asking, “Hi. Do you mind if I join your photo?” Needless to say the fans were shocked and welcoming.

As part of the event and to celebrate the launch of an all-new line of Star Wars: The Clone Wars Legacy Lightsabers, Ashley signed several hundred cases of the new Ahsoka Tano lightsaber sets that are now available for sale in Disney’s Hollywood Studios *while supplies last.

Ashley shared the photo of her social distancing adventure via Instagram along with the caption,” Tonight was a dream! Watch my story to see how we pulled off a surprise, safe, socially distant saber meet-up on Batuu @waltdisneyworld AND we launched Ahsoka Tano’s NEW Clone Wars (and color changing!) Legacy Lightsabers at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities tonight! Plus, I autographed a couple hundred saber cases that you can get now while supplies last! Thank you to all of the amazing cast members and fans who made tonight possible!”

Fans were delightfully surprised to see the fan-favorite voice actress at the lightsaber meet up, especially since most major fan conventions have been cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic. It’s wonderful to see Ashley making an effort to still enjoy time with her fans, even from a distance!
