Ghirardelli’s New Disney Springs Home Looks Nearly Ready to Open
During a visit to Disney Springs this weekend, we spotted the former Sprinkles location in Town Center looking nearly ready to welcome Ghirardelli as the iconic chocolate and ice cream shop prepares for its big move. Exterior signage has already been installed, with the familiar Ghirardelli name now prominently displayed above the entrance and on the side of the building.

The move comes as Ghirardelli prepares to temporarily leave its longtime Marketplace location, where it has been serving up sundaes, shakes, and free chocolate squares for decades. The original building is expected to close for a major renovation project and is slated to reopen in 2027 with expanded seating, improved guest flow, and other enhancements.
From what we observed, work on the Town Center location appears to be in its final stages. The exterior has been refreshed, signage is in place, and the location looks ready to begin welcoming guests in the near future. Once open, this temporary home will ensure guests can still get their Ghirardelli fix while construction takes place at the original location.
