Florida to test for COVID-19 at Disney’s Maingate office complex near Animal Kingdom

We recently reported that Disney cast members and their families will now be able to get tested for COVID-19 closer to Disney World. The state of Florida is opening a new testing site in Osceola County at Disney’s Maingate office complex near to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

This site will serve cast members and their families as well as members of the public. Testing begins August 14

Testing Hours

• Today: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Friday, August 14: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Saturday, August 15: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Sunday, August 16: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Monday, August 17: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Tuesday, August 18: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

The following statement was released:

“We have offered the location to help with community testing and any suggestion that this has been done as a result of anyone union is unfounded. The Florida Division of Emergency Management will operate the location which is available to Cast Members and their immediate families as well as Florida residents. Our actions support all cast and our community at large.”
