Epcot is getting more updates that will be announced sooner than later!
This summer in Anaheim, home of the Disneyland Resort, the D23 Expo returns. During this years expo, attendees will get a preview of what’s to come for Epcot. Disney recently announced the removal and re-positioning of the Leave a Legacy Monoliths that sit just beyond the entrance of Epcot. In its place, will be lush greenery. This can be seen in the concept art above. Now, we are hearing that there are more updates coming to Walt Disney World’s Epcot park.
At the 2019 expo, we will find out what new updates will be made to the area around the Spaceship Earth attraction. Also, new icons will soon be revealed replacing Imagination!, The Land, and The Seas with Nemo & Friends. The new play themed pavilion will have its own signifying icon to match as well.
For Future World and the World Showcase, updated films for these areas will replaced current ones. There will also be more and new dining experiences for all to enjoy. This is already adding to the exciting new additions of the Guardians of the Galaxy themed coaster and the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure! attraction at the France pavilion; both of which are currently under construction.
If you want to know more about all the changes happening to Epcot Center, unfortunately you are going to having to wait for the D23 Expo happening August 23rd to August 25th in Anaheim, California for all the resort details from the parks and resorts panel. The team here at Chip and Co will keep you updated on all the Epcot news from now until then.
